I brought my Jeep to Gengras Jeep for several serious issues, and this service department managed to ignore, dismiss, or mishandle nearly every single one of them. My vehicle had already been diagnosed by a certified Jeep dealership in another state after it broke down. Their technician identified a defective amplifier that was draining the battery and provided full written documentation since they did not have the needed part in stock. Gengras didn't bother to review the detailed technical notes provided by the other dealership technician and did not replace the defective amp. Their report also claimed that the transmission is “supposed to slip as it finds its gear.” That statement alone tells you everything you need to know about the quality of their diagnostics. Transmission slippage is dangerous and not normal, and topping off the fluid is not a “normal operation;” it’s a sign of a problem. After their so‑called repair, the transmission still slips exactly as before. I requested a tire balance because one tire began vibrating shortly after I bought the Jeep new. Instead, they performed a rotation I didn’t ask for, and the vibration is now worse than when I brought it in. I now have to pay a local tire shop to fix what they made worse. And then there’s the overcharge. They billed me for installing a license plate bracket that should have been provided with the vehicle, which Gengras acknowledged in writing should have been done at no cost. In other words, they charged me for something that should have been free, admitted it, and then refused to refund the fleecing. So to summarize: • The electrical issue diagnosis by another certified Jeep dealer was ignored • The transmission problem was dismissed as “normal” • The tire vibration was mishandled and made worse • I was charged for a service that is normally free • The only thing they successfully completed was an oil change I do not recommend Gengras if you value your time, your money, and your safety. This has been the most careless, dismissive, and unprofessional service experience I’ve ever had with any dealership.

Rami was able to secure me a great interest rate that I never thought I would qualify for, and he took the time to clearly explain everything. The entire experience truly felt like I was doing business with family rather than a dealership. I highly recommend Fairfield Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and especially Maikel C, Rami M, and Jim T. Better when they were at the old location. New location not recommended and Sales Rep Megan is very rude and quite the smart ass. Ask her for one thing and got no follow up until I went in to get my car. Charging people inspection fee even though you had the recommended service done and a return customer. After giving other dealers a try to purchase a vehicle I came across Gengras. From the very beginning to end of my vehicle purchase sales man Maikel and Rami exceeded my expectations. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! The Gengras dealership is dishonest and poorly managed by a service girl who wreaked like booze. After over 30 years of owning Jeeps and dealing with various Jeep dealerships, I’ve never faced such an experience. I bought a pre-owned Jeep less than 30 days ago and encountered starter issues. My original dealer was booked for a week, so I made an appointment with Gengras, who could see me the next day at 8:30am. I took time off work, but when I arrived I was told they would inspect my vehicle at some point in the day. Then when I called at 1:30pm check the status they told me they didn’t get to it and would not be able to until the following day. On the second visit, I dropped the car off at 7:30am. No call. No nothing. I called at 12pm and got voicemail. No call back. I called again at 1:30 and told them I hadn’t heard anything.they diagnosed the problem and would bill me out when I came to get the vehicle. I said bill what? She said you’ll have to speak with the service person. I arrive and I’m told me the alternator needed to be replaced due to squeaking pulley. and that would cost me $100 under my warranty. Which was a lie. I have full repair and replacement for 90 days from purchase. When I said I needed to contact the original dealer they tried to charge me $210 for the diagnostic fee, which shouldn’t apply to certified pre-owned vehicles within the 90-day window. I asked if I should call my dealer and the girl said no. They would reimburse me. Another lie. They held my car and refused to give me my keys, insisting I pay the $210 before I could take it. When I called my original dealer, they confirmed I shouldn’t be charged at all and the dealer should honor my pre certified contract being it was less than 90 days. After about 10 minutes of waiting for my sales guy to get on the phone, Gengras finally returned my keys with a rude tone. They pressured me to commit to repairs without consulting my original dealer and lied about the fees, attempting to extort me for something Chrysler reimburses under the contract. I’ve never experienced such treatment at any other Jeep dealership. Avoid Gengras; they will try to scam you.

I came into the dealership with no plans to buy, but Beverly completely changed my mind! From the moment I met her, she was welcoming, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond. She took the time to answer every question, responded quickly, and made the entire process stress-free. Because of her patience and expertise, I ended up purchasing a brand-new Jeep Wrangler for my daughter’s 16th birthday — something I hadn’t even planned on doing that day!
