This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
In Colorado Springs, CO, Dans Auto Salvage earns mixed feedback: some customers report friendly help, finding exact body glass/doors, and fair prices/deals, while many cite phone service issues, abrupt hang-ups, wrong-part hassles, and difficulty reaching staff. Yard appears messy; inventory skews to older truck parts (’90–’05) with some Japanese models. When Dan says he has it, pickups go smoothly; otherwise locating parts and timing can be frustrating. Overall: 57/100—value potential, but customer service consistency is a risk.

What clients say about Dans Auto Salvage in Colorado Springs (CO)
This man is so incredibly rude!!!!!!! I called with a question about some of the parts he has, to which he responded he’s at the dmv. I asked when I could call him later and before I even finished my sentance he hung up!!!!!! This guy is a joke!!! Do not recommend!!!!!!!!! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t recommend this place he sold me the wrong part and told me if I had any trouble to bring it back and get my money back and I’ve been by there everyday for the past week to return this part and everyday he isn’t there
Well the place looks like it sounds "A junkyard" with that said, they did help me on a lot of projects over the last year. Dan gets lost sometimes because he's trying to do everything himself. But he gets it done. They mostly have older American truck parts and some Japanese cars for parts (1990-2005 mostly). Dan would work with you too on working out a deal.
