Yesterday's need for the reliable AAA service, reminded me of what a well run business the local Roy's Towing Service is and has been. The truck pulled up shortly after I had called, and I was greeted by a good natured, ready to help, technician who worked his magic in very short order by assessing- then assuring me that my old battery had seen better days...SO, a new battery was installed within minutes. Sorry I don't know his name because he was obviously knowledgable and so kind, it turned out to be the least stressful "Problem solving" I've ever experienced with AAA. Roy's Towing is Tops! Oh.....btw.....being the battery was damaged by its minor explosion, it didn't cost me one dime!
This company towed my mom‘s car from a train parking lot. The parking lot was being used for something other than Train parking over the weekend and my 74 year-old mother failed to notice the signs. Although the company is not responsible for the parking restrictions when She came to get her vehicle, they would not let us park alongside to transport stuff out of it. They made my elderly mother walk. Very unfriendly.
Alonso Garcia was very professional and courteous. Called when on his way, showed up on time, took the extra steps to help make the whole towing experience basically a non-issue. Great guy!
Called Roy's towing to unload my ferrari from the car hauler as it was not running. Caesar arrived 15 minutes after the call, he quickly unloaded my car and towed it to my house. Everything was done professionally and service was great, would definitely recommend!
They took advantage of my 18 year old trying to survive in this world. They impound his car and when he called they told him a price when he got there they charge him $703. God bless you all and your business.
First, the employees are great, helpful and friendly. However the fees to retrieve a car impounded are steep, and they have posted fees so you think you'd be able to use those to calculate the total cost to retrieve a car, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be true. My vehicle was towed & when I went to collect it, the charge was significantly higher than the posted fees. I ended up losing the car completely, and unable to get to work. There's no haggling price, so if your car is impounded here, call and check the price to retrieve it, don't trust the posted prices.
I needed my car towed and Brian was the service tech that showed up. AAA told me an hour and it only took 30 minutes for him to arrive. Better yet, he called me prior just to give me an update which I really appreciated. He was nothing short of amazing! Friendly, helpful, and got the job done really quickly. Thanks Brian!

I had my vehicle picked up from my home and taken to an auto body shop. I was very impressed by speedy phone response and the pick up time response. I was told it would be 45 minutes possibly 30 minutes. The drive was kind and sensitive to my frustration of my vehicle I feel they arrived sooner than expected. I do appreciate great service and I will recommend Roy's towing company to anyyone friends or family needed. Thank you for fast service.

Yesterday my wife accidentally locked the keys inside the car while it was on. Standard eta would've been at least 40 minutes they showed up within 10 mins of the call to save the day! They were super quick and amazing! Thank you for being great!

Had a puncture on the freeway and was able to make it to a nearby parking lot. AAA said Roy's would have someone out in under 50 min. Exactly 2 min later Roy's dispatcher called and said a technician would arrive in under 20 min. Just 13 min later, Victor arrived. Just 10 min later, Victor had me back on the road. Lighting fast service - 25 min from call to back on the road. Every time I reach out to Roy's, to unlock my car, put in a new battery, fix a flat, this the kind of service and speed they deliver. Amazing people and amazingly kind too. I wouldn't call anyone else.
I am a AAA member. Recently my 1-year old battery died. The technician originally was polite. I was charged a prorated fee, because they are following AAA guidelines. This battery replaced a 2-year old AAA battery. While communicating with AAA & Roy's Towing about being charged a fee for the 1-year old battery the technician became agitated with me. I would have gone out to buy my own battery however, I didn't have access to another vehicle & Uber/Lift were not feasible.
My car broke down (on a VERY hot afternoon) with my two-year-old daughter and our big German Shepherd with us. The Roy’s Towing driver arrived promptly and he was super helpful and patient; he removed 2 car seats and a number of heavy bags and carried my stuff out of his way to a shady spot so my dog and kid could hang out while we emptied the car. He was just very accommodating and kind and I very much appreciated his willingness to lend a hand & had no problems getting my car safely to the drop off. I can’t remember his name but thank you, sir!
Came super fast, picked up my car and towed it very quickly as well. Very helpful and great service. Towed my car across the city with no problems, even though my car itself was having lots of problems. Would recommend them, it was through AAA.
Had Roy's out here this morning to tow my car. They were out here super quick, and the technician was very very good about setting up the car to get towed. I can highly recommend Roy's! During the last several years we've lived here whenever we need them they were very professional and quick.
Roger was very professional and courteous! Best driver I've worked with. Car trouble is always stressful. A lot easier to manager with help from someone like Roger!
Their dispatch is quick and efficient. They sent Roger out to me with a flatbed, as requested. Roger got to me quickly, had the car up on the tow truck and to the repair shop quickly, professionally, and with a friendly demeanor. Can't ask for anything more from a tow service, and possibly the best tow experience I've had in memory.
Our car got towed by police and unfortunately they utilized this company for their service. We will continue to file a complaint with the police department as well.
Stay away from this company for service. Our car got damaged really bad under their responsibility. When getting our car out, I noticed the front grills were missing. I went inside to inquire about it; consequently, they referred me to the manager (who refused to give me his name) and long story short, I was told to get the "f" off their office and continued to cancel our AAA tow.
When we went back to the lot, another guy that works there moved the bumper and the bumper fell off and showed that the radiator and the electric fan were damaged. I have pictures of everything to show as proof.
One of the gentlemen (I believe the owner) hit my female friend in the shoulder making fun of our car. She continued to say, "dont touch me" and "get the f out of our property". Police were called and we showed the video of the whole incident. Unfortunately, because she was holding the camera, you dont see the hand hitting her, only the shake of the camera, and her words after that asking him not to touch her again. Police came to " investigate" and the cameras on the lot "are not working". The incident number is 23-1217171 and the law enforcement officers who showed up were M. Mendoza (Sheriff) and C. Simpkins (Sheriff). There was "Nothing they could do" because lack of evidence.
We will take this to a civil matter and police department complaint.

Getting out of jail and finding your car is never fun, but Roy's towing offerred pleasant customer service, efficiency and promptness. They had a clean restroom, and coffee station too. Security and locked gates at night to protect vehicles was a plus. The prices?... Well, the cost of a night in impound is expensive at any impound yard, but Roy's towing prices seemed comparable to other impound/towing services around town. Overall, they exhibited professionalism with a smile. Thanks, Roy's Towing for keeping my car safe!
My 8 year old boy and I had an amazing experience with Nino and Roy’s towing. The truck showed up 40 min earlier than estimated arrival time. We were updated with text messages as to drivers arrival.
Our driver Nino was amazing!! He showed up with a HUGE smile and warm greeting. His calm and helpful nature was comforting and reassuring.
My 8 year old boy had never seen a car towed before and Nino helped create an almost amusement park like experience from him.
It was like a ride for him to sit in the big tow truck cabin after driving up the ramp.
Nino was friendly and chatty and my son an I took a shine to him like we’ve known him for years!
I would recommend this company to anyone in need.
I wish Nino well, my son will always remember is 1st towing experience fondly.
I have been towed many times over the years and this experience was by far the best as I got to share it with my son and Nino.
I've towed for many a company in my career, Roy's included. Roy and Doug treat their tow drivers well. I never ran a service truck, so I honestly can't vouch for them.
I believe AAA the company gave spiffs for selling their batteries. In an area that costs $12 bucks an hour for a one bedroom roach apartment, you very well may run into some desperate workers. The beauty of capitalism. Thank the club for that instead of kicking Roy's.
My suggestion? Thank the driver for coming out and tear a ten dollar bill in half, giving the driver half a tip before you start.
Interesting factoid. Once a day, by average, a tower is killed out working on the highways for the public. That's over 6,200 souls since 9/11/2001. Twice the rate of our trigger-happy policemen.
This should be a government job, like a fireman, cop, or public works.
