Great people. Got us in and out in excellent time and even recommended a place to eat a block away while we waited for the work to be done. Price was very fair. Enjoyed our visit and would return again for sure.
Had my car breakdown one evening super late. Towed it here in the middle of the night and left a message on their voicemail. The next day they quickly got to helping me with my car even though I had no appointment or warning given to them. Great service! I will be using this shop in the future for anything car related!

Great shop and really happy with the service! I took my Camry for some lingering suspension noises that I’ve been trying to get fixed from multiple shops for about 4 years now. These guys were the first to really take the time to understand the problem and systematically work to solve it. They went way above and beyond to get the repair done right. Along the way they noticed multiple issues other shops got wrong and worked to get them repaired right. I’m very happy with their service, their attention to detail and their communication keeping me informed of progress and seeking my decisions on options. It’s taken me years to find a trustworthy shop in TO and I’m very happy to have finally found a shop I can trust!

The girls who helped me were very professional. They swapped out my dad’s battery on his Viper and they were super knowledgable and the price was right. They are a AAA shop so the battery was free
Today was my first visit. This was a word of mouth referral. They were very professional and personable - so appreciated the attention to every detail in their inspection/follow-up. Even though my car has only 11,500 mi. right now, I've had the oil changed every 6 mo. - I mostly work by remote. I'm hoping that this was a "baseline" diagnosis visit and that my future visits will refer to this visit. I will absolutely recommend Preferred Auto Centre to friends who (like me) prefer not to use dealerships for service.

Customer service is wonderful. Technology they use to keep customer informed is outstanding. Real time photos of issues and recommended fixes, without pressure to complete, gave me confidence in work being performed. Automatic service reminders are great! I also like the online portal to track history of service and outstanding issues to resolve so I know what’s going on. I’ll be back!
There are few business I’ve come across that are as honest, reliable, efficient, and transparent as Preferred Auto Centre. I especially love their digital system that lets you see pictures of everything and gives you the ability to authorize work to be done. Everyone I’ve interacted with from office managers to technicians has been fantastic. I’ll never go anywhere else!

Mark and his mechanics and his staff always make me feel welcome. They not only completed my regular service but they also helped me get a smog test and hooked me up with great rental car.

My husband’s car runs great! Preferred Auto Centre cleaned the intake system on his Ford Escape, changed all fuel injectors and performed an oil change. They were nice to accommodate us in an emergency in 24 hours without an appointment. Everyone at Preferred Auto Centre is friendly and respectful. Customer Service is top notch and their service documentation is excellent!

I’m a new customer for Preferred Auto and having been with my prior shop for 18 years was a little nervous about working with and trusting a new shop but I’m pleased to report that I had a great experience. The shop did a comprehensive inspection of my car and provided me with a detailed report that was easy to understand.
I spoke with the owner Mark and his daughter Crista asking a lot of questions and they were both very helpful in helping me understand what needed to be done and why. Both excellent communicators.
After having some work done on my car (new brakes and engine mounts) I drove the car away and was amazed at how smooth the ride is now. I trust the competency of this shop and will be bringing my car back in the future.
Additional - I had another issue present with my car after getting the brakes replaced (an issue with the ABS sensor light). Mark and his office staff really went the extra mile to address the issue.

Brought my car in for an inspection and rattle under the hood. Very impressed with their team approach, professionalism, knowledge and confidence. Their communication around keeping me informed about the problem, (and finding the problem) was solid. They are trustworthy, up front, easy to talk to, and I left feeling that I finally found my mechanic 'family'. Highly recommend them!
Have been going here for years as Mark and team are excellent at their jobs and trustworthy. What is really impressive is how they have not stayed still but are continuously improving their level of service even further. Was recently blown away by an inspection report they provided with photos of the condition of the vehicle and rationale behind recommended services. It was very helpful for determining which services were important for the proper functioning of the vehicle and which should just be monitored.
During a recent service I had a few questions about some of the repairs that had been done and they did not hesitate to take a complimentary inspection to ensure that everything had been handled perfectly.

I have very good experiences at Preferred Auto Centre for this B1 service. I got an early appointment and within 1 hr, I received a txt with the work that was being performed, along with recommended services to ensure the longevity of my Honda HRV, which I appreciated. I received excellent communication from my auto advisor, who was both professional and personable. I also got the Triple AAA discount, which is helpful in the budget department. Overall, I continue to receive attentive service, knowledge technicians and the personal touch of dealing with a small business owner, who is honest and customer oriented. I highly recommend them for any automotive needs. I plan on being a lifetime customer.
I took my highly modified lowered 2005 Ford escape hybrid to Preferred Auto Center they did an amazing job. They took great care of not scratching any of the paint. The repairs were done with professionalism and they even washed the car when it was done. Thank for respecting the build. Grateful Dad
Honestly surprised by how amazing preferred auto was. I’ve had some less than amazing service in the past. From the moment I walked into their space I felt welcomed. They have a great designed waiting area that feels inviting. They were great with communication about my car and extremely thorough. My car was held a lot longer than I expected but I’m so happy because they were so detailed with photo evidence about every little thing my car truly needed. They even put me up in a rental car when my car wasn’t finished in time. When I picked my car up they even gave the outside a wash. I was blown away. I wouldn’t expect that every time but it’s safe to say I’ve found my mechanic team. Thank you preferred for making me feel cared for.
I'd bought tires at Costco and needed an alignment so I found PAC in Costco's list of affiliated auto repair shops and checked out their online reviews which. looked real good so I had the work done there (though they send alignments out). At that time I met Mark, the owner, who was very knowledgeable and seemed honest. Prior to taking a cross country trip to Michigan I had an oil change and inspection done there on my Grand Cherokee Jeep, and I looked at the recommendations they'd made on the inspection sheet. Mark went through it with me and explained the different items and if I needed them at this time. He explained the Throttle Body and Carbon Clean which he said should help increase gas mileage; so I had it done. In the past on a trip like this one, the most we'd gotten was approx 26 MPG, and on this trip I was surprised to see over 29 MPG on certain stretches of this drive, which could be the reason, but I'd never seen this before. I have to believe it was as Mark said and give credit where it's due. I trust Mark and the work they do but of course would always keep my eyes open. I just picked up my wife's Mountaineer (117,000 miles) where we had the wheel bearings replaced. I refer my family and friends to Preferred Auto Centre, hands down. One other important point is that they register all repairs with Car Fax which also indicates their responsibility for the work they do along with their transparency.
