I wish I could give zero stars. Honda Plus is one of the most unprofessional and dishonest auto repair shops I’ve ever encountered.
Communication was absolutely terrible. The owner went over a week without answering calls or returning messages, leaving me stuck and frustrated. When I finally reached someone, they refused to provide any clear estimates or pricing upfront. It quickly became obvious they were only interested in steering customers toward big-ticket projects where they could maximize profit, while showing zero interest in smaller, honest repairs, using junkyard or substandard parts to temporarily patch issues, only to be set up for bigger, more expensive problems later rather then be honest and run a full diagnosis and tell you what’s wrong in the FIRST place and COMMUNICATE in a RESPECTFUL and IN a BUSINESS manner.
This is not a trustworthy business. It feels more like a profit-driven operation that takes advantage of customers rather than providing reliable service. I strongly recommend avoiding Honda Plus in Chula Vista and taking your vehicle somewhere reliable, and honest instead. Save yourself the stress, time, and money.
This is the best place to go for your used Honda engine and parts. Ali is very helpful and honest person. He has a very good and knowledgeable mechanic in his shop. My civic runs very good as well as the AC that was not working for a long time. Thank you so much guys…,Perry D.

I needed my starter replaced. Even mechanics that I had a long term relationship with quoted 250 as the cheapest anybody would do it for they said it would take a couple of hours Ali quoted $50 and insisted it was very easy it probably took 30 minutes at the most and I ended up tipping them an extra 25 bucks because I was so satisfied with their expertise. The car has been running great since.
Sold me an engine with broken valve cover. Had to spend $250 to fix the issue at another location. Granted 100 of that was to find out where the leak was coming from. The bolt(s) on the engine cover were glued to the engine to hide the problem. Expect to spend more $ down the line after the engine replacement. Originally needed to replace the engine due to oil leaks. The new engine did not leak for 1 month (which is the wareanty you get). After one month the glue on the eninge bolt(s) became undone and started to leak oil again.
