I read other negative reviews but what interested me was the cost to dump here. I read other reviews about the staff being rude but I thought since it’s the closest dump to me I’ll give them a try since the reviews are older. Had a truck full of remodel debris, tile, fiberglass tub, cement clumps, wall panels and sheet rock.
Drove up to the terminal and the young lady explained the process and was straight to the point. They weighted our truck, we dumped out all our junk then we were re-weighed. The cost was only $85 bucks! No one was rude! The staff was polite, helpful and it was the easiest and cheapest local place to dump in San Jose, Ca.
I will use Leo Recycle again and will share and tell others about our experience!
Unacceptable, I was inside the gate before they closed it and they refused a red nissan with a small truck bed. Would have taken me less than 2 minutes to unload. Told her I drove 40 min there and now I gotta drive 40 minutes back. The truck in front of me had a full on trailer and they took him. BS!! If the owner cares about bad reviews on multiple platforms, Im willing to work with them to remove and post positive reviews instead. If they invite me back and take my load for no charge to compensate for my wasted time and gas. Otherwise, ill never come here again. Heck I came here because they were rated 5 stars ,so yeah I was shocked!
Terrible place, terrible customer service. The girl with the piercing on her face was very rude. After you dump the trash, you have to get back in line again — which they conveniently “forget” to mention. Just to throw away 20 bags of soil, they charged $149. I even offered to move the bags myself after paying and was willing to leave my driver’s license so I wouldn’t have to wait in line again. Awful service.
It's a good fast place ,they weight you in and than after you dump on your way out ,you pay per ton,and if you have less than 1000 lbs there is a minimum charge of $85...so come here if you have medium size or large loads...they ate open 7 days a week
I prefer this place to staying in San Francisco. Price and services are very good, especially now that they had problems with their warehouse, we have to support them more.
I have been going to this dispose site for over 3 years. Huan (sorry if the spelling is wrong) and the girls who work here are always awesome and provide good customer service. The office manager is a good guy too. I recommend my anyone who needs a good disposal site here. I’ll be definitely continue to go back! Thank you !!
You simply have to love Leo recycling transfer station. Most of the time, it's fast to get in, dump and get out of, it's very reasonable and cost-effective and overall it's a pleasant, straightforward experience. I've been to all the other dumps and transfer stations and of all the operations out there Leo recycle transfer stands head and shoulders above the rest.
You could dump trash of everything, concrete, tree or green with different prices. It is in San Jose on 7th and Leo. It is very convenient and easy to dump. Its price much cheaper compare with city land field. You pay by pound and minimum price $75.00. People there are nice and friendly.
I been coming to leo recycle for sometime already and the prices are what alot of people would said good pricing fron the scale to the workers the guide you are really nice at anytime of the day and the service is good too
It was open Sunday. That makes a great difference when you work all week, you get your junk ready on Saturday. Then on Sunday you drive over before they close @ 5 pm. The line to get weighted was short, overall a well ran business for dropping off your junk. Directions were given on when and were to dump. Everyone wore mask and was pro active with the new cv-19 protocols
Went here to drop off a mattress and box spring as part of the bye bye mattress program. It was free but I had to get rid of the frame separately, they charge $70 for extra weight. Still though, its worth it if you love in santa clara County.
Great local option to get rid of trash. And items laying around. Make it a large run. $70 for anything general trash under 1000lb. $130 I believe for 1 ton.
Besides paying for 150 dollars worth of space to dump dirt, it was good. They didnt bother us as we chucked dirt beastmode like from the back of the truck.
Staff were courteous, rather friendly. Dumped 600 pounds of old redwood decking. $65 I think that's a bargain.
My only complaint is a splinter in my thumb. Silly me forgot his gloves at home.
One of the most resourceful spots I ever stumbled upon. My third visit came after Zanker was going to charge $112—Leo charged $68 for the exact same load. You'll save money, it's closer, and it's indoors—something out of Thunderdome bruh.
