This place is great. Lots of items like, Hardware , Doors, Windows, from the historic houses of Long Beach. If you are restoring your historic house back to original or just like that historic look This is the place for you.
Tom and Noon are incredible. They came out to my house and would not stop until they found the exact right antique door knob for my door. I have had this knob worked on by two different people and no one could figure it out. I think they were working on it for 30 minutes straight. I was not expecting that level of customer service! I am beyond impressed! They are total pros!
This is not your typical hardware store, it's more. Original hardware, beautiful doors, screens, tiles, light fixtures, mortise locks, all ready to be returned to our historic houses. Tom, the owner, knows his stuff. We are lucky to have this shop and Tom Barnes' expertise in our area.
Look at these beauties - Yellow milk glass door pulls, this just scrapes the surface of the “the warehouse” of treasures here. If you have a restoration project like I do in my 1920’s bathroom - this is the place to check first. Tom Barnes and his team are knowledgeable and know where everything is in the huge space.
I used to browse but have learned to ask. They know every item they have and exactly where it is located. I was looking for the impossible and she grabbed one of many from a drawer. I always look forward to needing a new piece for the 1912 Puzzle. That way I get to visit again and again. I’m sure they can find your missing puzzle pieces.
If you own a historic home, or just love historic hardware, fixtures, parts, and pieces THIS is the place you must go to!!! Be prepared to spend hours there digging and wandering. One of a kind historic lighting fixtures, sconces, doors, exterior doors, hinges, knobs, drawer pulls, grates, the list is seriously endless.
My 1860's dresser lost a drawer pull in a move and I found the historic pull that worked perfectly, and a lot more! Take a list, it really helped me stay focused!
And the owner Tom was the cherry on top. Helpful and kind. Great great shop!
Found exactly what I was looking for, Ruby Red glass cabinet knobs, many colors to choose from.
Also found something I wasn't looking for, pewter frame.

Not a friendly place for disabled, includes parking their white cube van, blocking public sidewalk. Not ADA COMPLIANT or friendly. Better places to shop elsewhere.
Tom of B&B Hardware is a terrific guy who loves to help folks out who are working on revitalizing historic properties. His shop has a wealth of wonderful historic lighting, hardware, doors and more. If you enjoy history and architecture, it is worth a visit just to check out all the wonderful items!!

Cool stuff in every corner, and great helpful owners. Tons of vintage items of interest, and some new stuff. Seems like a great place to find vintage items to fix or upgrade your old house. Boss rides a GS motorcycle all over the US and Mexico, too. Instant cred.
Wow what a place! Be prepared to take your time here! There is so much antique/vintage hardware, lights & decor! It's not just hardware!!! Very helpful & friendly ♡ I'm going to spend way too much time in here ♡
