We dropped off cans of old paint. The people working at the facility were helpful and courteous. The line of cars waiting was long, but it went quickly.

You need to turn right onto 28th from California. Took about 35 minutes from the top of the hill. Very efficient- don’t be intimidated by long line of cars. I had about 40 cars ahead of me when I got in line. Got in line around 11:45 am and was leaving the lot around 12:20 pm. You just need to dump your own sharpies at a mid point in line; otherwise you stay on your car the entire time and they just take everything out of the car for you.

The worker at the end of the street where cars make a u-turn needs to do a better job directing traffic. Do not tell cars to move forward only to make them reverse and wait again. Other than that, place runs efficiently.

This recycler doew not pay the best pay for ur recyclables but it's certainly fair. I do recommend

I have been coming to this recycling ♻️ center since 2019. Too many times people, will start turning in the stuff, while sorting their stuff. You need to have a rule about not turning in you stuff while you are still sorting.

Hauled a massive tv to their e-waste event, only to be told that it wasn’t open due to a holiday. The day wasn’t listed on their website as a holiday, as other dates are. They responded, “Yeah, sorry.”

Great spot to make a trash/dump run. Always friendly and easy to get in and out. No issues.

The best kept secret. Open to residents every 2nd and 4th Saturday. Can bring a big range of items to be disposed of except furniture items.

I went here a couple days ago and it smelled so bad and I didn not have a mask the next day I was very sick I’m still sick how likely is it that the smell from the dump could get it this sick

What terrific customer service. We ordered two 3 yard dumpsters to be delivered on the driveway. Lisa Duran was such a wonderful professional person who was not only efficient in every aspect but kind and pleasant. The value and service requested was a perfect fit for our need, and I highly recommend EDCO for such services.

I called in a Sunday : response Says they will be right with you in the phone voice mail on Sunday am before 11 am. How interesting the voice mail cuts a caller off after a few seconds. I find this inconsiderate having been a customer 30 years Ive maybe called this place 10 times. Too bad for me they blew me off. This is not how you treat customers. . So l left a 3 part message before each hang up. How rude this process is. One day later: Monday 7/15: spoke to a nice rep and then a supv. They will call themselves to see why it’s responding as if they are open Sunday morning. I respect that! She heard me out and I trust she will get the voicemail answer system adjusted to state when they are closed or open on a Sunday.

This place is fantastic and so convenient to discard junk, trash, demolition work, ect. Comes in handy for me as I do side work of hauling away junk like demo debris from remodel projects. I either use my own truck or rent a UHaul to haul junk away. EDCO is open daily and early till evening so it's really convenient. You drive on a scale to get weighed with junk and then drive into a covered facility where you offload all the junk and drive out to scales to re-weigh. Last visit I remember it was about $105 per ton to discard. My averages were abou 3 tons, 1 1/2 on the light side and nearly 7 tons on the heavy side. Besure to take a face mask cause it's inside a covered facility and the air quality is poor, lots of dust, dirt and not too pleasant smelling. Also take gloves and wear long pants and good shoes to off load your junk. You are guided to back into an area to offload. We used a iron raje to rake out the debris. You just shuck the trash out behind your vehicle. Some guys got it easy and use a tilting dump truck. It took us about 40 minutes to 1 hour to offload the junk. The line to get in can get busy but moves fast with wauting times from 5 minutes to 45 minutes. Lots of commercial tractor trailers, commercial garbage trucks, junk haulers, gardeners, and people just cleaning out their storage spaces. It's really a cool experience and they have these huge oversized heavy machinery shovel tractors that are continually scooping up junk and piling it up high and away to make room for more off loads. Amazing operation to watch. I never realized how much money is involved with junk and a dump site. Best thing, bottom line, is that EDCO provides a environmental clean & safe way to dump your bulk trash. Besides it's the responsible, legal way to do it versus drive-by illegal dumping. It's really worth the cost. So surprised to see just how many people are taking advantage of this opportunity. Other dump sites are restrictive, hard to access and costly. EDCO you just Dump & Go. Done!

Beware of bees!! Easy drop off for recyclables. You separate your items according to type into different bins. And then the person behind will collect it and total your earnings. Pretty simple process.

The people directing traffic and placing trucks where to dump are complete Idiots at this place, do not go there as they will have somebody dump their trash right onto your truck. Not only that but they will have the city trash trucks dump their trash, right in front of you and block you in so you're stuck inside for 10 to 15 minutes before they send a loader to come put all that trash right on top of you or right next to you, damaging your vehicle. Run this is the most unprofessional place I've ever seen. I spent 150 bucks to dump a load and left with about $250 worth of paint damage not to mention having to drive over trash piles to exit. Unprofessional traffic directors.

Awesome service from the person weighing our trash and the person guiding us to where to dump it. A little pricey but I guess it’s reasonable for the location and what it is. If I could, I would set up a beach chair and have beers watching the big machines move trash around with their blinky lights. So cool.

Best dump I've ever been to. Organized when it gets busy. Busiest times are around 2-3pm from what I noticed. All cardboard and Styrofoam is free to dump. Just make sure you spend a little time removing any plastic or trash from the boxes because they will check if you are not a regular recycle dump run individual.

HHW and Ewaste collection event run by Sanitation Districts was great. Wait time was 30 minutes at the peak time and staff was efficient and courteous. 2/26 update - far less busy

My favorite place. It's cheaper and very efficient. The place doesn't smell terrible for the amount of waste that gets dropped off. City trucks drop off on the east side of the dump, so they'll take the right lanes. I drop off demo materials on the west side (left). If you don't know where to go, the friendly staff will direct you. If you bring a partner to offload quickly, it helps speed up the line.

Have always had good service when I drop-off items on their Saturday dropoffs. I find going in around 2pm is much quicker than in the morning.

Prices are a little higher now... but they are opened weekends which is a life saver but be prepared to spend time waiting.. I have tried to call before and it's hard since they have different departments.. some do eco-recycling, then u have the city truck service and then us the independent haulers and residents..

I got there at 10:30 and line was down to the u turn and it took about 12 minutes in total and i got rid of gas oil and motorcycle batteries i had for way too long. Color me impressed

9:30am, a long line of cars, 40-60 to get in. Halfway point, u do a u turn. Once you get in, it's very efficient. It's good that people recycle

They favor city trucks and give them priority. Directing traffic to make struggling haulers wait while highly paid hourly city employees go ahead of everyone else. They also have back up against the wall while city trucks dump in the front, blocking your way.

A bit of a wait as there were a lot of cars in line, but once you get to the drop off point it goes fast. They grab all your E-waste and hazardous waste, close your truck and you're done!
Nov 15, 2020 -
Very organized and easy process for dropping of e-waste. Just be prepared to spend 30-40 minutes in line. It's only that long due to the volume of people dropping off stuff. Sit back, turn on some tunes and your junk will be outta your car without much effort.

Cost $53.00 for us to unload 2 seats for an old van. They wouldn't pick them up because they were "car parts". I have seen the Edco truck pick up huge sofas, couches, refrigerators, etc. But, they refused to pick these up. ?

I want to share my experience. Luckily I went at the right time. Because when I was on my way out. Oh my word. The line. Timing is everything Fist I got to say be warned you must. I mean that you must remember to bring your face mask. The level of trash particulate in the air.... So breathing is now a luxury One fee no matter how small the dump. No matter the size of load anything under 800lbs if flat rate. Unfortunately so I must go elsewhere
Oct 03, 2018 -
Kind of hidden place but well worth it, $50.00 to dump under 800lbs. You Cant beat that. Open 7 days. Professional crew. I got nothing bad to say. Dont believe me try out this plsce

Hazardous waste drop off point once a month. You don't even have to get out of your car, they handle it for you (to keep the line moving). So awesome, but there is a long line and you will wait about 45 min total.
