Woman who answers phone is Rude does not honor quoted prices. Give one price over phone verified said price multiple times make 2hr drive to get there wanted to raise price $100 then acted like it was no big deal bc she made a mistake. Not first time she's tried this. Definitely dont recommend
This is our policy's. I do give 7 day warranty on all use parts 30 days on Transmission rear-ends & Engines Please understand these are used parts. Please be aware of policies before you buy any thing. They are always posted on our wall. I am sorry for negative posts. Unfortunately it we can't please every one. This place has been im business for decades. There is a reason they are still around. Family owned business. Always shop local. Keep Hot Springs residents and businesses alive, ESPECIALLY the good ones. Track record is a reliable way to make the right choice. Ed Jones & his family were very Impactful to so many in the community.

I just don't understand why some people take jobs that they don't want to do. I have been going out to Ed Jones pretty much all my life and I have never been treated so rudely there before. Michelle has one of the worst attitudes I have come across. She wanted to tell me after I bought a bad alternator and I came back the next morning to return it, she said that she was not going to give me cash back. Long story short I got my $ back and I just won't ever go there again. She has lost all control. Go at your own risk.
Pathetic service and very inappropriate care to my vehicle was given by Paco who is the mechanic there! I have spent a lot of money and wasted my time getting my car back not drivable, due to his lack of knowledge and ability to fix my car. I had to tow it to another shop and they are saying it will take another new alternator and blower, which he supposedly fixed! Neither are working and I even think he may have used used parts from the salvage yard, and kept my new ones I bought! ???
I do not recall the name of the lady that answered the phone, but she was very rude and unpleasant to deal with. I will not be calling them back to give them my business.
I have used this salvage yard for years. Not anymore. I called to find 2 lower control thing & springs. Both. Michelle answered & I told her what I was needing. She said she'd have to call me back in the morning as there was no one to go look right then. Fine. No problem. Well when she called me the next morning she said yes they have it. I asked if they were both good. Her response was "well the right one is there so I'm sure the other one is to." I then asked about the springs. Lord you would a thought I'd asked her to move a mountain. She said "I'm sure they are there to." I hung up. Her tone was ALL wrong.
It has obviously gone off the rails since Ed passed away.
These people swindled my son out of $560. They sold him a damaged motor and refused to honor their warranty. When we tried to return the motor , they called us liars and tried to argue that it wasn’t their motor because they supposedly put a secret red mark on the bottom. Even the mechanic of R anM called them and told them the motor had no red mark when he looked at it, and they called him liar. R and M Collision is one of the absolute most reputable garage in central Arkansas and they called them a liar and accused us of trying to return our old motor from the car being worked on. They have pulled this scam on several other customers besides us. They are dishonest .
These folks rock! Very knowledgeable, fair, and easy to work with! No BS! Willing to deal, but know what they have! If they get the part off and realize it's not in as good a shape as they thought, they let you know and adjust the price accordingly! I feel like that's pretty much unheard of these days! I will be doing business here from now on! Thanks very much!
Awesome place to find anything. They give quotes on what they already have pulled. All other parts will have to be pulled on site. Less than half the price of other places.
And here we go again another business that just doesn't want to provide the services it supposedly offers. Plus lazy employees that don't do their jobs either efficiently if at all. I have called them at least a dozen times for various parts for several vehicles, they say they'll check if they have the parts and tell me they will call me back with prices but wonder of wonders I never hear back from them! One employee even claimed she NEVER missed calling someone back but hey and hello, here I sit frustrated yet again because someone didn't do their job, get the info and return the call. Thank you lazy people for making my life more annoying than it has to be! If I didn't need parts I wouldn't bother with them.
Well paid $50 for an alternator the lady said it'd be an hour went back a little after an hour it still hadn't been pulled waited there another hour it was noon they close at noon the lady brought out the $50 and said they couldn't do it today. A waste of 2 hours and got nothing
it's about the only junk yard (cars) left in the county (garland) where they will have the part you need and test it if need be ,and everyone is dissn the lady at the front[ desk sayn she is rude well she was friendly to me her name I think is Michelle and she is quite sexy if I say so myself
I was in there a couple if days before Christmas 2020 and again a couple a day's after new years to get a radiator for a 1999 mercury marquis
He agreed to pick up our vehicle and we would give him the title and be paid the next Monday. We also agreed with the man that we would be getting back our tires as they were only about 3 months old when the car broke.
When we got there, and yes they knew we were coming to get our stuff from the car, they had already taken the tires and wheels (which we assumed was cause we were there to pick them up), trashed the car, and stolen some things from the car. They took a book of stamps, a tire guage, our portable hazard light, a few sets of my earrings, and oddly enough a pair of my shoes... And looking inside to clear the rest of our things, they had trashed EVERYTHING. Papers, trash, old food bags were dumped and tossed about, bits of plastic that we have no idea what they are from. We had papers inside that we needed and they had thrown them everywhere and there was thick mud all over it. I only say it was thrown because there were papers in the glove box and center console that magically made it to the trunk area. We didn't really care about the state of the car after that, but they did not even have the title yet. Can you imagine if we had wanted the car back for some reason?
When we got there and were about to hand them the title, the woman claimed we had already been paid. After asking twice more if she was really sure she decided to call someone, who confirmed we hadn't. Then when we asked for our tires at she first said they didn't have them anymore. Then when she was told on the phone that we were there to pick them up, she said that it would be a while because they would have to have the mechanic take them off the wheels. Fine, not a problem as long as we get them back.
While we were waiting I was wandering about and thought to ask about a heater core for my truck. She said their prices started in the $80s. A new, well reviewed one is $24 online. The next highest were 35, 50, and the most common at around $60. All new.
Overall: make sure you clear your whole car cause they will steal things if it's left. Tell them up front you've already talked to someone about things and they might take the time to listen. Double check their prices elsewhere cause what the hell. And if you have a special case where they take your car before you can give them the title, you either have to tell them that they are not allowed to take it apart before that actually have the title, or just expect it cause I doubt they care based on the attitude one of the women gave us.
I think I'd rather let it go for free somewhere else next time.
Such a great family owned business! The staff is amazing and I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else to get any of the auto salvage parts you may need! This is the cheapest salvage yard in Hot Springs, Arkansas! A++++++
Knowledge staff and outstanding selection of pre owned car parts. I've been a customer of this establishment for over 20 years and I expect I will be for the foreseeable future. Great people!! Highly recommend to anyone looking to save money and do it themselves.
Not a bad junkyard, but the lady Michelle at the counter always has the worst attitude I have ever seen. I honestly don’t know how anyone could find her helpful because she is just such a displeasure to speak with. If I didn’t have to dread speaking with her I would probably come back again. 2 stars until they get a new person at the front desk.
Plenty of vehicles to salvage from but you take steros or anything off an engine even though there is nothing to tell you the rules. Plus the "lady" in the office is one of the most rude people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I only give two stars because of the variety of vehicles other than that, I would recommend ordering parts new cause its about the same price.
Got an engine from them a couple weeks ago....had a bad rod in it so I called them up and I spoke with Mr. Jones, the owner.....and I have to say the guy is a man of his word. He let me bring the engine back and exchange it with no problems. Even had a fella named Dino help me load it up. I really appreciate them looking out for me and STAYING TRUE TO THEIR WORD. Hopefully this engine is better ? thanks agian guys. Much appreciated!!!

The prices quoted were good but... The lady at the register tried to jack me for additional money right behind her boss who gave me price right in front of her and I. Could have been a mistake but I don't think so.
