My vehicle was impounded after a wreck stemming from a thrill ride by some kids. That on Tuesday, two days before Christmas. I couldn’t reach the office until Saturday morning, where they would not give me the total amount to get it out. Just said I would need to come down and get it taken care of. On Wednesday morning December 23rd. I arrived back in Conway and Heltons told me they were closed. It would have to wait until Friday morning to be picked up. They said they charge by the day. When I asked do they charge on the days they are closed and I can’t get it out. I was hung up on. I shouldn’t have to get my own vehicle out of impounded in this situation, but ok I understand someone has to pay for their time. I guess I’m waiting until Friday and if they deduct all days I’ll leave an updated review and explain what happened. Or I will be

I have to give a big thanks to Helton’s Wrecker service. My son was in a wreck Friday afternoon, the day after Christmas. His car had to be towed and we couldn’t get into it until Monday morning. He had cash, gift cards and Christmas presents in the car along with other valuables and everything was left in the car untouched. I truly appreciate their honesty!!!

This tow company is the rudest . My brother in law used their services I called down there I thought I was loosing signal he told no sir I hung up don’t know what that was about . I think the guy answering the phone was on something just my opinion. So we drive to Conway to check on everything we get to the yard and the windows are down and it’s raining . No way I would ever recommend this company .

Helton provided emergency tow and storage services for me. My nephew was on the side of the highway in Arkansas when he passed. I was in Maryland trying to coordinate the transport of his truck and camper while dealing with my own grief. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Both vehicles were in perfect condition. I appreciate the team there making this as smooth as possible.

Garbage place with even more garbage people. Couldn't even get anyone from here to help with a uhaul we rented online and had to end up dealing with corporate folks even though the door clearly says they are open 8am-11am. Don't do business here. If I could give no stars I would.

If i could leave zero stars i would. My car was towed by this company and they completely destroyed it. The tower Lee admitted to breaking it and said to take it up with the boss Bill who was standing there and heard the confession. Bill immiedstely said “we didn’t do anything to you car. Do what you have to do” and is refusing to give us their insurance. Lawyers have been contacted and the case is being taken.

We were told that the repair would be $180. We were charged $440. Do not use this service. Also, the owner was incredibly rude to my daughter.

Real gem this people are. My husband lost his voice after getting COVID back in 2020 so whenever he talks sounds very hoarse. I was in a car accident with my kiddos and my husband called this place that towed our mini van to see if we could get our groceries that I had just bought before the accident. Very fine gentleman told him “once you learn how to speak English call back” and hanged up. My kids heard it and were very taken back, I honestly was very angry. My husband was born in Philly, raised in Puerto Rico which you don’t know it’s part of USA and we been raising our family in Connecticut and decided to move to AR. Just because he has a different accent from the one they have in the south and because his voice it’s barely there is no reason to be treated that way. That’s been racist. I then go in the morning and complained about that call and was just told “ignore it” “he is just old” well I think it’s about time he learns to be respectful, otherwise he should stay in his house having no business dealing with customers. They could have tried to apologize for his behavior but clearly they don’t care. I am a strong believer that what goes around comes around. But if you have the choice don’t give this people your business. There is plenty of other companies around here that can do their services better in a respectful and professional way.

Worst wrecker and repair shop in central Arkansas not only Conway!! Horrible customer service, the owner is one of the rudest people I've ever met, there service sucks, mechanics don't even know what they are doing! They don't want to help anyone, worst place around, never take your vehicle there and if they show up to tow your vehicle refuse it!!!! Absolutely horrible people!!! Wish I could give him no star rating!!

My boyfriends vehicle got towed during a traffic stop by this company which was maybe 10 to 15 miles from him which all together would be between a 20 to 30 mile tow and charged $423 for just the tow I did the math if it was $50 a day and was in impound for 7 days and costed us a total of $773 to get out. The vehicle got towed on a Friday and there office was supposed to be open Saturday from 8am to 11:30am so we called and the man that answered who was incredibly rude said that they was closed for the day to call back Monday. We called back Monday soon as they opened and I was told to call back later that evening and when I did they said they had closed knowing they told me to call back later. We get up there the next day and they told us we needed this document and this document because my boyfriends names not on the title his brothers name was but my boyfriends name was on the paper work she had right there on her computer when the vehicle got towed. I honestly felt like this place was trying to make things more difficult to get more money from us at least that’s how I felt this is only my opinion but honestly I wouldn’t do business here. I have heard more bad things about this place as well. I’ve also had my own vehicle towed a much longer distance for cheaper, this price was ridiculous. I have had 50 mile tow that costed me $145. $423 for about 20 miles is just crazy. What makes me the angriest is all the go around and the rude attitudes.

I was in a vehicle that was impounded & I'm disabled, my belongings in vehicle including my cane, I'm disabled with a spinal cord injury partial paralysis n heltons would not let me get my cane without paying $300 4 towing fee n very inconsiderate to my need n use of my cane, no $ to buy another n mine passed to me by family n special but needed, like my legs. Said I could take it to court, WOW is All I can say for their morals n professional aspects. Shame on you & what if I was their mother, really?!!!

Sorriest wrecker service to ever be in Conway! Two times on a Friday they were told at the scene of the accident to bring the cars to my shop and they took them to their impound so they could get a weekend of storage and a second tow out of it. I honestly, after all these years of screwing people over, don't know how they can even be on the rotation. When I called to complain, they guy started cussing me out and calling me a liar. Monday morning I will be calling the tow board with yet another complaint against them!

Needed towing service yesterday and they came out to help. Everything was fine until the older caucasian male which I was told was the owner came to my semi truck to help me and tried to insult me and told me I can’t read. I’m pretty sure he was trying to get a disrespectful reaction out of me especially since I was an African American female but I didn’t give him the power to, but when they wanted to get paid I didn’t make it easy for them. The owner needs to talk to people with respect because it could’ve gotten real ugly. 0 out of 10 do not recommend. Spend your money elsewhere where they treat you with respect.

Tried to call to get a 2 mile tow for my child who's car broke down. He said he had no one available, and when I asked for any other towing suggestions/companies who MAY be available, he hung UP on me!! Dear sir, I hope no one EVER trusts your services and unprofessional manner!

My truck was stuck in the mud on the side of my house. And I needed the vehicle to be pulled less 2 feet to get unstuck. I called this service. I explained the circumstance. I asked them the price of the service prior to coming and they quoted I can’t tell you until I get there. The tower came to my residence still never told how much would cost until after the service which he charge me $134 for a $30 job. The weather was fine. I talked to owner on the phone he was rude, very nonprofessional and not willing to resolve the issue. His worker threatened to call the police if I didn’t pay. I would not recommend them to nobody. This company should be put out business. Scammers!!!!!I have reported this company to better business Bureau.

Car accident on a Thursday. Told Conway PD that we want it taken to Conway Collision. They said nope. Helton will take it. Helton charges an automatic 2 day storage fee. We show up the following day and retrieve our items and request they drop the vehicle to Conway Collision. Monday rolls around and guess where the car is? Still at Heltons. Tuesday. Still at Heltons. We talk with them and say they are just so busy and will try. So here we are on day 7 and they finally move the vehicle and now we have 7 days of storage fees. Thanks Heltons. You guys at one point we’re decent. Now you just scam the insurance out of money for “storage fees”. Do better.

My son had his vehicle towed about a year ago and I called them to find out some information about the car because my son didn't know the answers and they were able to look up that information for me and get the answers to the questions we had and to be honest I didn't think they would be able to help but I was wrong. They were extremely polite and respectful and professional. And extremely helpful!!!!

I had a bad wreck with my 2007 Prius. Heltons took good care of car even though it was a total loss. They have an enclosed yard with razor wire and Barbed wire to keep people out. And a video surveillance cameras They are also an authorized dealer with u haul. Prices for tows are bout what others charge. They do take debit and credit card. So unlike others who demand cash. You don't have to worry bout that. I'm not sure if they charge a small. Many say a convenience fee. What makes it ok to call it a convience if you gotta pay to use it. They need to say,. There a 5.00. Inconvenience fee to use the card.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is disgusting. Firstly, we did not pick them. The car was totaled and the police picked them. The car was gone before I got there and it took a few days to find out where it was sent. Their base towing charge is almost $300 compared to other companies that charge around 50-70 usually. On top of that I was told it would be 25.00 a day the car was there, so by the time we saved up the money to pay them off it was only going to go up more. They created a business plan that prevent payment every being made. I was told it didn't matter if we became homeless, we needed to pay them off first. And if they sent a letter out it would be even more money that we owe. They are the worst company and human beings in existence. NEVER GO WITH THEM!!??

If I could rate this business 0 stars I would! Save your money and do not use this place! They are very unprofessional and rude. The poor old man didn’t even know his DOT laws and tried to tell my husband he couldn’t run his DOT numbers on a magnet given by his transport company! He went to the extent of calling the dot officers and they told him yes that’s fine if they are 4in apart (which they are) his DOT numbers are from a from a very well know transport company he argued with my husband again about the numbers not being far enough apart. The old man then went and got a ruler just to measure and yep everything was perfect. They are overpriced and do not do anything! The lady in the front is SO rude. I will NEVER use this company again and would not recommend anyone to do so either. There are plenty of other towing places to use in Conway & the mayflower area that would be willing to work with you and treat you with respect.

This place is awful in customer service. Reserved a uhaul trailer, got to the location at 11:40. Was told I was out of luck because the store closes at 11:30. I said Uhaul did not disclose the closing time. He said that was my fault because I did not contact heltons directly. What a joke. He told me the trailer I reserved wasn't even on the lot and I was looking at it. Then he proceeded to hang up on me!!

Wife's car died at the car wash by Kroger in Conway. Turns out she blew the radiator and was stranded while I was 30 plus minutes away at work in Little Rock. Mr. Helton sent a wrecker, ordered the part and fixed the car for a very affordable rate. He could have charged what ever he wanted but remained very reasonable. Great service and friendly professional people.

Used them 4 the uhaul part of their business. They we nice enough. They had decided to close a day early, so they called us to pick up earlier at no cost 2 us. Didnt really have a place to park the truck overnight but we made it work. However, the return date was on a Sunday and they r closed on sundays. They knew this and yet they never went over what needed to b done when using the key drop box. According to them just drop the key. NOT SO! Thankfully I called uhaul and they walked me through the additional steps needed so i wouldn't b charged another day.

This is by far the biggest scam of a company I've ever dealt with. They towed my car and it cost $610 to get it out of their yard. They had a charge for two tow trucks that they had to use to pull out my 2002 4runner... there was absolutely no need for 2 full size tow trucks to get my little SUV out, and they charged 175 apiece for the trucks. Altogether we are reporting them to the city and will tell anybody who will listen not to use their service or lack of. They wont talk to us about why two trucks were sent and the driver of the truck refused to talk to us. They stole my money, I hope these good for nothing scumbags get what they have coming to them.

We had our trailer towed by them after we got in an accident last week. Friday they told us while we were clearing out our stuff that once we were done they'd tow it. Then they said they'd tow it first thing Monday morning. Monday morning comes and they said they wouldn't tow it until our insurance paid them. Today they got their money before noon and STILL havent towed it to Camping World. Said they've been "busy" when they got their money hours ago. Couldn't be bothered to do it right before they closed today. We've been stuck here for almost a week so far (we aren't from here) but not like they care. Lousy service

My car was towed by CPD because of an "arrest," for driving without a license. However, no one was arrested the car was just towed because the owner of the vehicle wasn't present at the time. Before going to retrieve my car, I called and was told the price would be $146, I went the next day and they charged me $200 saying that they kept my car for 3 days and that is why even though there business was closed on a Sunday. I complained how I shouldn't be charged for a day they were close and the lady behind the counter told me she could do what she wanted and as I left she yelled "well, you shouldn't have went to jail." Very very rude people.

This is the WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER DONE BUSINESS WITH!!! Rented a Uhaul from them that 1st the ramp would not pull out on and they said there was nothing they could do.. So after finally getting the ramp fixed an hour later myself they refused to credit me for the time.. Then the Uhaul broke down and with my 2 children we waited 2 HOURS in the road blocking traffic because they didn't want to come this way during rush hour and through construction.. Rude staff, stuck up, and no help at all!!! They will gladly take ur money though!!
