They make up prices and classify stuff that's not what it is they rip you off I wouldn't go there I'd stay on the corner and beg for money first

I really like JSI. It's a great place to get rid of no longer needed scrap metal. Quick in - Quick out. The yard workers are always friendly and helpful. I'm thankful they're here. JAK in Conway

Very convenient service for off loading pieces of our old junkie storage building and can earn a little money for it. If this place has a job open I'd consider applying.

Yep they do not weight right they change the weight on there end. How I bring two pieces of short iron that only weight 6 lbs but the old harness wire weighed 5 lbs lol crazy then I bring number 1 copper and they gave me 1 lbs I know it weighed more then 1 lbs lol crazy it might have been 2 or 3 not 1. Not like I was bringing a lot and they still ripped me off I kept all the receipts and one person on here was right it is diffrent each time. 3 lbs of brass crazy it's ok I won't be back I would rather drive far and get done right then robbed isn't that illegal to steal.

Love This Place! The employee's are awesome, they are quick to get me in and out, and they are always friendly and in a good mood!

These people might as well be crooks. I was docked $.45 a pound because my aluminum wheels had the valve stem in them. They knew I was a new customer and it wouldn’t have taken two minutes to fix it. I will never return

Place robs you of correct pricing. Brought same 3 items 4 different times. Copper on all 3 items First trip 20 dollars. Second trip 6 dollars. Third trip 2 dollars. Fourth trip 4 dollars. Price per pound was same or close eachtime.

Friendly, honest local folks. Easy place to get in, unload and get on out. Even if you don't have much metal, they can help keep it in the recycle process and out the land fill. Sort your stuff before you go and you can easily get some gas money!

This is one of the most crooked places i've been to. First they dont even give what your scrap metal is worth and secondly do not i REPEAT DO NOT trust their scales. Go to Tannenbaum recycling center. They will do you right and pay you more for your scraps. At least at Tannenbaum they know the difference between metal.

I can't believe how rude this place is... Raegan is the most rude individual I've ever encountered! Do not go here! Go to anyone else to recycle your metals and get more money!

Called to try understand something. However, whoever pick-ed up call and answer was so very rude that to not knowing what conversation will be, but just to reject and said foul language to people trying to make connections. Good job to your greeting skill and rejecting inquiries.

Excellent facility!!! Ran my truck out of gas while idling waiting for them to do some construction in the lot, and they provided me with a free gallon of gas!!!!!! Asesome service!!!!

Let me start by saying that I am not a professional scrapper, but I do seem to hoard scrap over time. So once it's time to clean up, this is a very convenient place to bring the scrap metal. I have came to this facility multiple times since it has opened. The staff has always been very friendly, from the people in the office to the ones in the yard. I see alot of complaints about pricing, these are none of my concern. I am happy to be paid for stuff I am no longer wanting. I will continue to visit this location.

They have a problem with being fair. I called got prices and when I got there prices were lower than what I was told.i think it should be posted so the prices for the day can't just change on a wim or because they might not be having a good day they don't seem to care if you're a repeat customer or a first timer

It's Just OK. It's convenient if you need a local place to take some just generic scrap to or cans or something. But if you have anything of value (their copper prices seem to hover 10 to 15% low) , like a catalytic converter, they're going to bend you over, give you $20, and turn around and make $200 on it. Better off cutting and mailing cats for $20 to a place that will give you a FAIR price for it.

From a casual customer's perspective this is a somewhat awkwardly run establishment, yet really better than many I have encountered for recycling metals. The crew is amiable and helpful enough. If you are a first time visitor the procedure for weighing and dropping off your materials will be unclear. Without any posted instructions you'll need to go in the main building for instructions. They will tend to answer you as if you should already know this. At times an attendant has been stationed at the gate to provide instructions but don't count on it. I can help guide you with the following instructions: In my experience, if your recyclable metals include steel (tin) and/or aluminum the first thing you should do on arrival is circle counterclockwise around the main building, driving your vehicle up on the scale on the east side of the building. Once stopped, grab a numbered placard from the box, hold it so that is visible to the attendant behind the glass of the corner office. The traffic stop-and-go light doesn't work so watch for the attendant to give you clearance to drive off the scale once you have been weighed, they are a bit difficult to see at times. Now drive around to the back of the facility and the workers will direct you on where to unload—steel (tin) goes in one spot, aluminum in another. However, once you unload one kind of metal you will need to repeat the weighing process, then return with your other metal to be unloaded. The unloaders will communicate with the office to verify the type of materials you are depositing. Once unloaded a second time you'll need to weigh once again, that's how they are keeping track...of course the weight of your vehicle is being tared each time. If you also have copper, brass, stainless steel, or lead you will need to drive inside the main building, entering from the back or south side. Stop inside, turn off your motor and the attendants there will unload and weigh your materials on smaller scales and then notify the office of the amount. When you are finished park outside and go to the cashier window to receive payment for your deposited metals. Unfortunately, like the procedure for unloading and selling metals, the price being paid for these items are never posted (it would be more customer friendly if they did). Ask beforehand if you want, call, or look online before you go. Prices fluctuate and what is paid in one region may not be what is being paid at this facility but you will get at least a GENERAL IDEA of the current rate. You will have to submit identification and record a thumbprint. They aren't picking on you, the dealer must maintain "Reasonable, Written Documentation of Ownership" to assure that they are not receiving stolen metals, otherwise they can be held liable for theft if they receive stolen property. The cashier will provide you with a printed slip of the weight and amount paid for your materials and, of course, the cash payment. You will not get rich recycling metals but you can get a little cash and most of all the satisfaction that the metals are staying out of the landfill and being reused. Remember, there is a finite amount of metal ores in the world. Recycle.

The work crew are good.My only suggestion. Is stay open longer on saturday, most people work monday thru friday dont have time to show up during week.I know your business is succefull.but you leave a lot of money out there because people go to other scrap yards

Most honest and fair place I have ever been. I took some cans in and got WAY more than I expected. Service was very fast too! 5 Star Place! Here is some history. I just moved to Conway from Jacksonville about a year ago. My Wife is finishing school at UCA, so extra $$$$ helps! OK, so the OLD place I went to in Jacksonville was not honest. Actually, I really never knew how badly they were scamming me, until I went to 'JSI Metal' here in Conway. So after I got double the price I was expecting, I asked the guy if was aluminum prices or what? Turns out the old place was weighing my cans on a scale made for metals that weigh thousands of pounds....I wondered how my cans always seemed to weigh 5 pounds exactly, no matter how many I brought in. Lol So yeah, I am sticking with JSI. If you have a lot of stuff, it would probably pay to drive from Pulaski County or anywhere around central Arkansas, because you will get more $$$ for your stuff. I sold them some old refrigerators and wager dryers too. I was very pleased on those deals as well! -Michael Johnston

Slimy place with sleezy people. I recently brought a steel vehicle bumper I had, just to get it out of the garage. Apparently, their computer monitor was broken and they said I had to sign the touch pad for the receipt to print so they could see the payment amount. They rang up 50lbs of steel as tin. ($.25 vs. $.02/lb) and passed me a dollar through the window. When I called them out on it "All sales are final". Service is about what you would expect from someone behind a glass window in a place surrounded by razor wire. All in all, I am not surprised, as this place literally pays for trash, both in the yard and behind the desks.
