Ordered a piece of glass that needed to be shipped in. Guy took care of me. Called when it came in and even let me pick a tiny rubber slider off of a wrecked car for the glass. Seriously wish I knew about this company sooner. They made ordering a pt easy.
I own a repair shop in the valley, so i buy a lot of parts (both new and used). Northwest is easily the best yard in the state. Best counter help, best yard guys (and gals), best selection, and team prp means they can help me get parts from the lower 48 when needed, all-around helpful and knowledgeable. If you go anywhere else for used parts, you're missing out.

Not even worth a star, worst customer service I have been witness to in years. Wanted to buy a Hubcap for a Ford, they had one but wouldn't sell it to me unless I bought a steel rim with it. Done business with you for over 25 years,sorry to see this is how customers are treated. To add to this post I received a call from the sales manager, who not only defused the issue but also restored my willingness to continue doing business with them. Thank you Clint and Darnell
I had to order a piece of glass for my Ford focus. The order was placed on September 13,2024. I was told it would be two to three weeks before it comes in. I called near the end of September,early part of October and was told it had not arrived yet! That he (guy at the front desk with the shoulder length hair,he would let when it gets here and we are in the second week of October. I am displeased with their service at this time.
Poor customer service these guys think they can just take peoples money. Bought a part for almost $300 went back return cause it doesn't work and they said "that's not the one we sold to you" I'm like these clowns think I came all the way for some bs. He took it to the manager and ask me to come in for same bs. I ask him do you guys have cameras in here so we can go view right now and we'll see who's bs. All of the sudden he said we'll just give you your money back. I'm like why all these hassle when you know youre bs the whole time. Now I'm gonna wait and see if they gonna bs my refund again🤦🏻♂️. Little piece of advice if you ever bought anything at these guys make sure you take pictures of the part you're buying and show it to these clowns just in case you going back to return it. I do not recommend this place at allllll.
They've got great deals on most parts and seem to know their stuff! Took a little longer than expected to get the part we pre-ordered but can't best the price!!!
I purchased a 5.3L LC9 engine for my truck after a lifter failure. There was a snafu that they quickly navigated & remedied. I’m super happy with the NW Auto team & how they took care of me as a customer. 10/10 would recommend. They are not without human error, but are well aware of that fact and put customers first if you speak up & communicate the issue well while making sure you’re respectful, you’ll be taken care of very well. I’d choose them over eBay any day, even if the price was slightly more.
For years I called Northwest my go to place to shop for Parts Batteries and tires.
From Guy to the rest of the the team I always feel welcome and at home, a true example of excellent business model that many in this City and state need.
It use to be easy getting a row and a position to go look for someone in the yard until the changes made due to crazy people stealing or ruin things!
Inventory need works, some or most parts aren’t online and in the system.

These clowns... that's all I can say. Crazy high prices. Nobody seems to know anything. Idk it's the "New Anchorage" mentality. Charge high as possible for everything. Tried to charge me $300 for a damaged headlight.
Needed parts for my vehicle and was recommended to Northwest Auto by a mechanic. He said if NW doesn’t have it no one in town will. NW auto had the part and were super helpful and professional. Thank you NW Auto I will be sure to use you in the future as well as recommend you to others.
highly recommend this place ! Guy was super helpful and easy to deal with made finding the part I needed super easy I've been looking for this transfer case for almost a whole month and within minutes Guy located one and shipped it all the way to Connecticut. Thanks again brother for the help
3 stars for difficulty gaining information from my salesman about the availability of parts through the computer inventory system as well as lack of willingness to actually look.
The exception to this was the service provided by Tim Osheim who took the time to show me the inventory and explain the situation even though it was not his sale. I would give him five stars. He definitely made sure the sale happened.
I got into an accident and scanned all through Facebook marketplace, trying to find a Used driver side mirror for my truck when I couldn’t find one a buddy Highly suggested I go to Northwest auto I gave them one phone call and they answered pretty quick very nice helpful gentleman named Steven answered and helped me find the best mirror for my truck after I gave him a mediocre description/details of my truck. Steven help me find the Vin number for my vehicle to exact match the mirror that I need. And then when couldn’t make it because I got off work late he reassured me by giving me a Three day hold on my part. Big thanks to Northwest auto but extremely big thanks to Steven for the care provided and the professionalism.
Tried to tell me that I had to pay double the listed price if I wanted "the other half" of a bench seat after I had already paid for it. Guy was crazy rude to me like they hadn't wasted my time. If I could I would never buy here again.
Paid for good parts in good condition. They took they parts off and damaged the parts; looks like they ripped out the bumper without unscrewing the screws. On top of all this they made it look like it’s my fault that I didn’t want to take the damaged parts
My nephew works here, I've ordered many used parts for several vehicles and always got the right part. I worked for Northwest last winter as the delivery driver and I do appreciate the reused, recycled, cheaper alternative to new. Hi to my former coworkers!
Saved me a ton of money because they had the replacement glass piece I needed. Easy to work with and guaranteed the replacement part for 2 years. Great business model!
Overall experience was good, winded up returning the part I bought because I didn’t need it. I would advise to be 100% sure that the paint doesn’t rub off before insinuating that someone is trying to get over on you by returning a defective part, not a good look at all.
This family owned, long time Alaskan company works incredibly hard to be a great company in a tough business. I always am surprised at their broad inventory and helpful sales staff. I’m all the way in New Jersey and wasn’t really comfortable for getting parts shipped from that far but Tim made it a smooth transaction. He made sure I’m getting the right stuff AND sent me pictures before purchase. Fast shipping & great customer service.
