Great service today. I brought in a bad battery and they offer to repair it over the next 48 hours. They let me borrow a loaner battery in the meantime. Saved me hundreds not having to buy a new battery. Super friendly and professional staff. I’ll use them for all future battery and bulb needs.
Went looking for two different types of rechargeable headlamp batteries. They had them both. The man behind the counter checked to see if they'd be comparable to the old ones in strength and said if they didn't work/fit, to bring them back. Note: if you take time to register your phone number, you won't need the paper receipt for any returns
I’ve been a long time customer and have been pleased. However, I drove 40 minutes because your websites said you are open on Sundays. You also had a message on your answering machine, but no mention that you are now closed on Sundays. Update your website and message stating you’re closed on Sundays!
Giving a one star review of my experience is being very generous. After a recent cold spell, I took my 2019 GMC Denali in and an employee tested my 4-5 yo battery and advised that it was "shot" and needed replacement. I then ordered an appropriate battery as recommended by the employee and was told that they should have one in stock in approx 3 days. The replacement battery finally arrived 1.5 weeks later so I went in to have them swap it out. After putting the new battery in, my truck which I drove to the location, was totally dead and would not start. The employee quickly connected their jump pack and the truck started but then he told me that the truck (with a brand new "tested" battery installed) would be fine after I drove around for 15-20 min because their tester indicated that my alternator looked healthy and no issues. After driving around for approx 30 min, I drove home, shut off the truck and tried to restart and it was still dead. After calling the store back, I was told that the manager would call me the next morning, which they did not. When I called the store the next morning, the owner answered and offered no suggestion or help other than that if I wanted such I needed to get the dead truck to them. Once I was able to jump the truck and get it to the store, the owner was rude and immediately wanted to blame "other issues" with my truck, first saying that my alternator was shot. Once he finally swapped with another new battery, the truck started immediately and after monitoring the alternator output, he finally acknowledged what I had been told the previous day that the alternator looked healthy. The part that really upset me was no acknowledgement or any apology after the fact, nothing.
These guys are incredible!! This morning the store was packed and the line was out the door- it seemed very stressful. I was so AMAZED how fast and kind all the employees were and relaxed during the stress of a crowded store. They took their time and made sure each customer had what they needed. The manager there, I forgot her name, was on top of it! Although there was a line out the door, she made sure to answer 20+ calls and wrote their name and number to get back to them once the crowd lessened in the store. I watched her call in several employees to come help and they all showed up to work super fast to help. I was SO AMAZED how the team worked together to make everyone happy. So many car batteries were replaced and the older gentleman who helped me out was fast and kind. You guys rock!! Thank you for helping me with my truck battery and I was so impressed to see how amazing the employees there were. Keep up the good work- you guys are incredible and definitely deserve an award for your hard work and a pizza party from the owner lol!! :) I never write reviews, but seeing how incredible this team is compelled me to write one. They definitely deserve an applaud- thanks again!!

Batteries Plus is my go to for batteries for my vehicles, lap tops and key fobs... The owner is very knowledgeable and does an excellent job training his employees. Everyone who has helped me has been very helpful, friendly and professional over the years.
Love batteries plus. My Subaru key and my after market remote start both needed batteries. One stop, under 5 minutes. showed me a connection point that might cause problems. $25 - who can beat that?
This is the only place I buy batteries and related accessories anymore. Their customer service is always fast, reliable, and honest. Over the past 3–4 years, I’ve used their Duracell Platinum batteries in my trucks, ATVs, RVs, and motorcycle, and they’re still performing like the day I installed them.
This past year, I purchased their X2-600 Power Station, X2Power 1500A Jump Starter, and the X2 Power 110W Solar Panel to play around with while camping. All I can say is, if you need dependable power for weekend adventures to keep your Starlink running and your phone/tablet/laptop charged, or just a reliable jump starter that fits in your glove box for emergencies, I highly recommend these.

BatteryPlus in Anchorage sold me a a Deep Cycle Marine battery for my 2017 Ram truck. When I began having starting problems with the truck, I took it to my excellent mechanic, who immediately diagnosed the problem as an inadequate battery. He called the BatteryPlus store’s manager, who argued that the battery was not a problem and refused to do anything to correct the mistake. I will not do business with this company again. They are either incompetent or crooks. In either case, avoid this company.
Post script: Based on your response, I think the question is whether you are going to do something to fix it. A legitimate business would do something to address my complaint. I wonder whether your response is from a responsible company representative or an AI bot?
Needed a lithium battery, website says they are in stock and there is a discount if ordered online. Purchase the battery only to get a call later that day that the battery in fact wasn't in stock and would take two weeks to ship. That felt a little deceptive, but I can be patient. Three weeks later still haven't gotten a call or email. I call the shop to inquire when it would arrive only to be told it would be another whole month to get one. The employee I spoke to, Larry, was very helpful and honest. I told him I couldn't wait that long and would probably need a refund and he said he might be able to get one from the Fairbanks store. I have no doubt that he did his part and more so we'll see if the company will actually go out of their way to deliver the battery I already paid for in a reasonable time frame, or if this is just another case of lazy, greedy business owners overcharging for service and underpaying their employees and then complaining that Amazon is hurting their livelihoods.
As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted and given good reccomendations on what ATV would be a best replacement for my old battery. They also offer military discount so I would reccomend shopping there any chance needed. I was in and out in less then 5 minutes. Great store for your battery needs.
I work and live out in Prince Wiiliam Sound Alaska. The Batteries Plus in Anchorage is as top shelf as there is. For my job, I get our quotes, products and best prices faster than any other vendor. Last time I was in Anchorage I bought a new vehicle battery for my personal truck. They were just as quick and helpful for me before they ever knew my role at work. The tech came out to my truck and did a very professional job installing the new battery and whisked away the old one for the core-discount in a very short time. As an Industrial Electrician, I know the little details like cleaned and greased battery terminals and other TLC. I could have done it myself, but it was pretty cool and no extra charge. I needed a new battery for my car. I went to the Batteries Plus website and was able to get a battery for the exact year, manufacturer, model and style of my vehicle. It let me know the item was in stock and that Batteries Plus would send me an email when it was ready for pickup. When I went to pick it up, the technician ran a final check on the battery before releasing it to me. It was fast, convenient and I received great service!
1st visit. Wanted two new 12v 7Ah batteries for my kids electric car to run in parallel. Walked out with 12v 8Ah cause the gentleman said they’d run longer, shushing away concerns, he said I’d be fine. Wires were running hot after almost 90 minutes of run time, car kept turning on and off. Okay, no problem. Can always go back and swap ‘em out. No issues with how this gentleman handled my transaction.
2nd visit. So I go to swap, get asked why, started explaining. I’m told there’s no way the wires could be running hot and that the “Ah” only indicates run time. Lady was adamant I was wrong, she’s been doing this 25 years, did not bother with a refund, slaps two batteries I wanted on the counter. I ask “it’s that easy to swap?” She replies no but I’ll get it sorted out.
Was disappointed with her behavior considering I wasn’t upset about anything to begin with. Just concerned about my daughter’s toy and how hot the wires were getting. Kinda lost why she’d rudely suggested I was wrong, when I can quite literally feel hot wires
Other than the $5 I don’t want back, the batteries are good. Interestingly no more hot wires, but her/their service, 1/5.
I ordered 4 large RV batteries online. When I arrived to pick them up, the staff was helpful, prompt, capable and able to answer my questions while they loaded the batteries into my vehicle for transport. Quick, efficient, and well organized.
I needed a new charge port for my Android. Staff were very helpful, they do repairs on weekends, it was a quick turnaround on the repair, and the price was good. Bonus points for acknowledging me when I entered the store, even though staff were busy.
Came here for a new key fob for my car. Pricing was fair and staff was friendly. However, the install took a very long time, over 40 minutes. Eventually a manager had to step in. He discovered that my car had a dead battery, and that's why the key wouldn't work. He hooked me up with a new battery and did a very good job installing it. I've installed a few car batteries myself, but I could not have done a better job. I'd come here again for a new car battery. They gave me some discounts/coupons for the trouble. In short, the store manager was great, but the staff could use more training.
