Was a bad experience, purchase a battery back in September 2025 and the cranking amps was low had to get a jump today they won't give me another Battery.
Went in for a battery replacement on my CRV and was in and out less than 15 mins! Staff was very friendly and thorough as he was replacing my battery even in this cold weather. Hopefully this battery will last another 5 years like my factory battery did! Wish I had gotten the name of the guy who changed out my battery but kudos to the team they had working this afternoon around 4pm.
Thomas was AMAZING, KNOWLEDGEABLE, SO WILLING TO HELP ME THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS. I DON'T LIVE HERE AND MY CAR BROKE DOWN AND HE SOLD ME THE PROPER CAR BATTERY AND EVEN CHECKED MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS FOR ME!!! IM SO IMPRESSED WITH HIM AND THIS STORE
Went to purchase a headlight bulb and girl working counter seem to be having trouble finding the bulb that I need. She finally found a pk of 2 even though I only needed one. Left & went next door and got in & out with the 1 bulb I need in less than 5 minutes.
Me and the crew are pretty much on a first name basis I'm definitely in there a few times a month they try and help you the best they can but advance Autos operating system is so archaic it's literally more convenient for me to use my phone then for them to look up parts that is the only knock on the whole establishment I have more than once they've been searching for apart for me and I went straight to Google and put it in and told them what aisle the part was located in
I really appreciate Mr Dakota and all of the staff members at this location! Thank you for outstanding customer service just amazing help detail oriented! Just made me feel safe most of all comfortable and made me also want to purchase more and just go to this location more than any other location! Most of the time they have everything I am looking for. I love how they will help you out with windshield wipers and come change your battery for you. Sometimes they are pretty busy but they still get to you as quick as they can.
Had to wait in line to get service. Need to hire more people to work during the weekend so you don't have to wait so long. The service I received was fast and friendly.
Shaw and Darrell, Both incredibly helpful in recommending a great local repair shop and finding the correct parts I desperately needed for 1 of my work trucks which other stores could not seem to handle. They Definitely went above and beyond and will definitely be my go to place for parts.
Just leaving the store now. 2 women, Shaw and Shelley, teamwork was awesome. Between customers coming in the store, other customers requesting tests done on their cars, windshield wiper blades to be changed. This is the best team i have ever dealt with at this location. Thanks so much for the services yall provided me tonight. I highly recommend this store.
I went in to buy some headlight bulbs and an employee named Patrick was courteous and helpful. I was so impressed with his customer service I felt like I needed to write this positive review.
Super disrespectful was rude i came there to get my engine light check out n after a few moments the person said that the machine would not work for some reason um its suppose to take a few moments its not going automatically pick my codes right off needless to say i wont be returning went to next door to oreilys and found out my problem..
Only 2 people were working and the only worker inside had NO CLUE where anything was in the shelf. I spent 20+ minutes in the store.....walked out....went next door to OReillys and was in and out in 7 minutes flat.
I was rather disappointed that the staff didn't really have the time to help a older lady dressed up for a doctor's appointment to put on windshield wipers on a cold wet miserable day sleeting and I was going to be late for my appointment. By the time I got them on a man was coming out to help someone else, and apologized, but I don't think I will stop here again. Maybe the car parts store next door will be more caring about all of their customers, not just the the young pretty ones. Thanks for poor service.
Good store, standard prices, sales guy was very quick. Only thing that would make this 5 star would be better labeled aisles. Spent more time hunting things down than I like to.
Was getting ready to go out of town and realized one of my break lights was out. One of the employees at Advance Auto in Smithfield VA was so very helpful. Talked me through changing the bulb. I am so thankful.
If you go here to buy your parts be warned. You need to know more about your car and what you need than these people who work here because if it's not on the computer they are clueless. This place use to be good and hadn't had a problem with any parts that were correct, however I stopped going here because of the ignorant employees and lack of customer service.
