They will price match if yiu show them something cheaper from an approved vendor on their vendors list. Amazon is one of them so double check your prices.
Horrible. Felt like criminal when asked for military discount. I have received military discount from this store on several occasions, but this is the first time I was ever questioned when Showing my veteran ID. I understood am not entitled to anything but to be questioned and interrogated about my military background after showing my veterans ID is absolutely ridiculous. After say don’t wort about it no need to give it to me and then say “I’ll do it this one time” like I should be honored…then proceeded to act like they were doing me a favor is appalling. To be treated this way by a manager, who he doesn’t even know their own military discount policy is ridiculous. The manager said Word for Word, “the military discount is only for retired and active military duty”, when the website clearly says veterans, as well as dependents. Sir, please get familiar with your military discount policy before treating any other veterans and disabled veterans this way.
Staff was not able to locate parts and not helpful or friendly. Had to "speak" to the manager to pickup a part as it was given to me with an attitude. Would not come back advance next door was much better.
Very good to find a business that is honest and referred me to another company that specializes in what I needed. Guaranteed I will go there the next time I need auto parts. Highly recommend!!
Adam is the best helper! Car keys were locked inside our rental car. Adam not only agreed to help, but walked to where we were parked, helped unlock the trunk, which allowed me to crawl in thru the backseat, and all ended well. Thanks Adam for the great assistance!
Bought a new battery, or at least thought it was new a few months ago, got home and installed it. Went to start the car and no go. BATTERY Was 3/19, took it back this morning and guess what?
I don't drive the car every day but do keep a battery tender on it. Battery had voltage but no amperage. They told me that there was nothing they could do for me because of the date of the battery. I'm done with O'Reilly, will never go back! If you buy a battery for them! CHECK THE DATES BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE WITH IT.They got me ,Don't let them get you!
I called Napa Auto Parts and they said they didn’t install batteries, so I called O’Reilly’s and talked to Paige. She said she would check my battery and install it for me, if it was the battery that was the problem. I had my car jumped and drove directly there. Wow! Paige was so nice! She explained some things to me, tested the battery and Helped me pick a new battery. She then installed it for me. I visit my friend in Smithfield alot, and if I ever need help with my automobile again, I’m headed right back there. Fantastic customer service.

I stopped by to have a rear windshield wiper replaced and I was pleasantly surprised by the way they helped me out. Much better than the Advanced Auto next door!
They were able to freely tell me the main thing wrong with my car from the check engine light & a cheap way to resolve it. When they didn't have the fluid I needed in stock because they had just run out, they were able to tell me they could have it in stock today and where to find it if I wanted it faster. That's quality service. I wish every auto-parts place and mechanic was that honest and helpful.
They’re not what they use to be when they first opened. Professionalism and experience is lacking. Employee in my opinion shouldn’t recommend repairs with they’re crystal ball and the demeanor you carry towards customers should be friendly and professional. I use to stay away from advanced auto parts because of this reason but the tides have changed and advanced auto parts have stepped they’re game up in a big way, I suggest trying them out if you don’t have luck here
Tonight my driver side headlight went out while driving to pick up my son and I was able to call O'Reilly, confirmed they had my part in store and knew the cost right away. Patrick is extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure I had what was needed. If you are in need of auto care. I highly recommend this location.
Smithfield store is the best. Store manager Tara has never dissapointed me. Best parts person, and customer service I have ever received. Where she goes I go. Lol
Great customer service! Employee immediately noticed I was not finding the right isle, and offered assistance. They found me the right part and checked me out quickly. Big improvement over my previous experience at the competitor’s store next door.
Nasty customer service. Had battery that swelled up and said it was okay. Manufacture said it could explode. Got upset cause I went to district manager. Stripped new battery and said no replacement. Old battery was 4 months old.
Its and autoparts store....But i had a great experience with the staff. Had to try multiple parts to get what i needed and the staff was great. Special ordered parts twice to get what i needed and got no complaints.
