I’ve had nothing but great experiences at Cofer Auto. Friendly staff, great customer service, and they always get me in and out fast for my state inspections.

I recently purchased a used car and it needed a front wheel alignment. I called on Monday and made appointment for Thursday. Staff were very friendly and informative about my car. Great atmosphere and I felt welcomed soon as I walked in. I would recommend 10/10.

Cofer Auto has been my family’s go to for all things car related for as long as I can remember. I can trust Mike and the crew to stand behind their work, give me honest advice/direction and charge a fair price. They have always been patient with me when cost dictated what work I could do when and willing to tell me what was most important. With having limited knowledge of vehicles myself, I hesitate going in most places, fearful they’ll take advantage of me not knowing, but Mike and his team are great and I 100% know I can trust them. I received the best service at Cofer this week. After making an appointment a couple days prior, we were able to easily drop our car off for a quick oil change and inspection! I’m getting ready to send my son college, and with Cofer’s great job checking it over, I know the car is ready to make the trip!

One of my very old SUV needs a safety inspection, I first tried another shop who identified some issues and quoted me costs. I then tried Cofer that not only identified the issues but also quoted reasonable/competitive prices! I chose Cofer, the repair and inspection are done quickly! They give me a free ride home whenever I need. Front desk/customer services are wonderful. Subsequently I sent 2 newer vehicles for inspections and/or oil changes, Cofer did them quickly and professionally and their recommended minor fixes are what I liked or someone has recommended me before! I highly recommend Cofer Auto for their high level expertise/professionalism, reasonable prices, prompt action, and excellent customer services!

My grandson Kia Forte hadn't been inspected in over 2 years. Took it to Cofer Auto and they gave me a fair evaluation. After a set of tires and a few other minor things, the car passed state inspection. Thank you to Cofer Auto for their professional and honest work.

My state inspection was up and Cofer was the only place in the area that had same day appointments. The service was quick and the customer service was excellent. My inspection was done in less than an hour. I highly recommend Cofer Auto for your car services. As a female I’m always worried when taking my car to a new shop they will try and sell me things I don’t need and that was not the case at Cofer. I will definitely be returning for my next service.

Timely scheduling for the service my vehicle needed and then followed by timely and professional service. Parking when stopping by to schedule the appointment and on the actual day of service can be a bit tricky but a trade off for the great service

After an incident where I gave a 1 star review because of rude staff- I am now redacting that after I was contacted by the owner apologizing for her staff’s behavior. For their upstanding accountability and integrity for their business I recommend this place.

Very nice staff! Just make sure you make an appointment because being top rated means you can’t just show up and expect to get service immediately.

I dropped my wife's vehicle by the shop on Sunday, 12/08/2024, filled out the information on the drop slip and dropped it in the drop box with the keys. The very next day, at lunchtime, I received a phone call saying my wife's vehicle was fixed and ready for pick up. You just can't get better service than that! This local shop will always receive my support, 100%! Great service and even better people. LOVE COFER AUTO!!!

I have been taking my vehicle to Cofer Auto for many years. They are friendly, have fair prices, are honest and get you in and in good time! They don't try to get you to get work done that you don't really need. I trust them... I highly recommend them!

Take your car anywhere else. Car was idling rough and stalling, took it here. 90 dollar diagnostic fee to mess up the diagnosis the first couple tries. (After we already explained what we thought was wrong…ended up being wrong) Car goes into service. No car for a week and 1/2. 2k (2 thousand dollars) bill, including an oil change i did not ask for or need. (Next time i did my oil change, had to buy a new tool due to how tight they screwed the plug. Thanks) The next day, car fresh out of the shop: on the way to work, car stalls on the highway. Stalled on Brewers Neck Rd after not 5 mins of driving. Why did my car stall after a week of 2 thousand dollar service? Cofers kindly forgot to attach some wires when finishing the job. Mediocre customer service, mediocre car service, mediocre reputation, exuberant prices. Go literally anywhere else. I know I will

It is nice to have a car repair shop that you can trust. We have used Cofer for many things and have received great service at a fair price. They are always able to take us quickly.

Professional, knowledgeable and very good with communication. Had a bad ECU/PCU and they diagnosed it in a very reasonable amount of time and checked over the whole vehicle for me and found other minor maintenance issues and resolved them. Highly recommend them.

I was recommended to this place it took a week to get my truck back. I talked to the owner and had to go three different times just to find out the status of my vehicle. The secretary working there didn’t know what she was doing. I asked her three different times what the total bill would . The worst place I have ever been to. I was ripped off the bill was way to high and my air conditioner still not working I will never go back there again I will take my business elsewhere back to what she quoted me the price for everything except the hose and when I went to pay the bill it was 500.00 dollars more. So she just lied to me. If you charged my ax why is it blowing hot air. She said I had a pin hole in the compressor. I don’t think it would have leaked out that soon

After having my 2014 ford fusion repaired the same part failed again. Took it back a little aggravated due to the amount of money I spent not expecting the same part to fail right at a month later. After speaking with the owner he advised that he would take care of any and everything needed to fix my issue. When I received the call that my car was ready for pick up and going to look at it everything looks perfect and he even inspected my car for me so I wouldn’t have to worry about it. After being burned by another shop in the area that is no longer in business I’m very touchy with people working on my car and it being honest work. I appreciate everything that cofer auto did for me. Will be returning and recommending any and all work moving forward.

I've been very pleased with the professional service I've received from Cofer over the last several years. They are very honest in their assessment of any problem I may have, and they have earned my complete trust when working on my vehicles. It's easy to get an app't and the work gets completed in a very timely manner. Their costs are quite reasonable as well. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a quality repair shop.

They are so efficient, friendly and competent! Got my State Inspection in under 45min. Remarkably fast compared to other places. Cofer's is always fair and comes through for me and my vehicles!

I had a lot of problems that came up with my kind of old, high mileage van. I had no appt but they got me in FAST! I trust the team of people there are Cofer's because they are always honest and hardworking. They're not going to penny pinch you, instead they treat you like the kind, loving family an auto shop should be.

Cofer Auto has been absolutely amazing to me! Two times this past week I have had car issues. The first time was a check engine light problem and I called as soon as it popped on when I was headed home and they were able to fit me in right then. The customer service I received while I was there was incredible. I waited on it and was only there about 40 mins and they were able to get it fixed for me and I was in and out of the doors in under an hour. I had another problem later in the week and they were able to fit me in again to take another look at it. I was super impressed with their work! Everyone is so friendly and they do an incredible job and provide wonderful service. I will definitely be back if I ever need work done again. Thank you so much! You all are so amazing.

Update 10/15/20: they are still doing great work. I have gone through them several times for a wide array of work and it has all been quality. The people are friendly and informative as well. I plan to continue to go through them until I move out of the area. Previous Review: I really like the way they do business. I've gone through Cofer's several times and like it every time but once, hence the 4 stars. Before that I would have giving them 5 stars. The issue I had was that I had called and asked if my truck would be done that day and they had said yes, then when I had gone to pick it up it wasn't done so I had to get a ride to the house and wait for the next day (they were installing something). In their defense they said it COULD take 2 days and I was okay with that and the guy who answered the phone might not have known what was going on fully. It wasn't a huge deal because I carpool to work anyways but it that wasn't the case and that was my only vehicle that would have cause some issues. Other than that I have been 100% happy with their work.

What a great shop! I was in a pinch and needed some tire valve stem work done ASAP. We travel full time in our RV and were en route to our next campground. We needed immediate repair. Cofer Auto stepped up and got me in right away then fixed the issue. I am so thankful for a wonderful, professional job and when I went to pay the bill I could not believe how inexpensive it was.Thanks so much Cofer Auto. You saved my day. Great service from the Cofer team continues! I had an issue with my Oldsmobile's cooling system and the team repaired it quickly. Then when I couldn't get away from work they dropped by for me. Great service at a reasonable price. It is hard to find good service like Cofer's! On another occasion I had a clutch issue with my 2009 Shelby Mustang and obviously it was out of warranty. Basically I needed a new clutch as they went to order my new clutch James discovered there was a service writer from Ford that basically covered the clutch replacement parts and labor. They notified me that the clutch would be replaced at no cost to me saving me $2,000. These guys have a tremendous sense of integrity and give great value for their time. I am a customer for life!
