I only ever take my car here. I refuse to go anywhere else. It’s not the “let’s figure out how to get the most money” kind of place. It’s the “we want to and we’re GOING to help you” kind.
I have been coming to Kevin and his team here for over a year now, through two different cars, and every time the service exceeds expectations. I trust Advanced Automotive to tell me what is actually happening with my car and the best course of action to make sure we get everything taken care of. I really appreciate the team here and will continue to exclusively go to them for any and all of my car needs while I live in Virginia.
I had a bad experience at another shop, so I came to Advanced Automotive to get a second opinion. All I needed was a state inspection. I was told at another shop that I needed new struts and tires which would put me out about $2,500. So I came to Advanced Automotive to get their opinion. First thing I noticed was their waiting area was clean, spacious, and cozy. I know, weird observation but it was a major difference from the other shop I had come from. But what really shocked me was how nice everyone was. I felt welcomed, respected, and they listened to what I had to say. Again, it was the complete opposite I had previously experienced. Anyways, after about 30 minutes of me being there they had inspected my car and told me there was nothing wrong with my car and I was able to pass state inspection! I was struck by how honest and genuine everyone was. I told them I will be a returning customer for life there.
I always get great service from Advanced. I am particular about the oil and oil filter I like to use in my truck a they allow me to bring it and only charge me labor and shop fees.
I had them do a rear brake job and it coolant pump last year and they did an excellent job.
I received an estimate and returned the following week and they had me in and out in less less than an hour that they estimated. They are super friendly and make sure I understand any problems.
Kevin and Robert and everyone at Advanced Automotive are great! They always take care of my personal car and company cars efficiently and at a reasonable price. No surprises, always honest!
Overall great experience. Had them do a prepurchase inspection. Customer service and explanation of issues with the car were both great. Quick, quality work with a great customer focus. Highly recommended.

Always helpful. Last time I went in I had tried to change my head light. I couldn't get it. Called to see if they could do it if i had already bought the lights. They fit me right in. I have never been there and been told to conre back. Very friendly and respectful. My spot for all my car needs!!
These folks are amazing. They really took care of me in an emergency and didn’t make me pay out the nose for it.
If I lived in the area they would do all my car’s servicing. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a place that actually focuses on service

The technician who worked on my vehicle was very knowledgeable. I brought it in with a variety of different questions and Rob was able to diagnose all of them. He gave me a call and was able to clearly tell me what had to be done immediately, what could be pushed down the road for a bit, and if the car had major underlying issues. Would recommend the team at Advance Automotive!

I brought in my oldest car, a 2004 Jetta Wagon with several issues. The appointment was for an oil change and to check the ABS and airbag lights. The diagnostic showed a bunch of codes and confirmed what I already suspected — that water had probably gotten into the system.
The mechanic was super kind and honest. He explained everything clearly and offered to fix the rear brakes and ABS sensor. The final cost even came out lower than the estimate, which was a nice surprise.
I highly recommend this place! I manage a whole fleet of vehicles for work, so I know what I’m talking about — these guys are professional and trustworthy.
On a road trip, with my daughter, from Va Beach to Buffalo, NY. Low tire pressure alarm went off. I stopped, checked tires, put air in them, reset, and alarm still went off. Did this twice. Then I told my daughter to google a repair shop, she found this place, we pulled in. Talked with service manager. Got our car in within a few minutes. Brian worked on car. Checked it out several times and couldn’t find a problem. He asked if I had a pressure gauge, which I did not. He found one for me and told me to take it. If alarm goes out again, check tire pressure. All tires were filled to 36psi. If I found one off, that was my culprit.
I was so appreciative! When I asked how much I owe, they both said, “No charge, we didn’t do/fix anything!” I should have offered them some cash, but my mind wasn’t thinking of that, just in what problems I’d face down the road. And I had none! Idk what he did, taking tires off and putting back on, or what, but I had not a single problem the rest of my trip there and back home.
This place, for a woman, was refreshing. I never felt pressured into repair/buying something, the men genuinely cared. After we were down the road, my daughter said, “ I wish we had a place like this back home. I’d definitely go there!” And I totally agree.

This was a life saver for us. Traveling to Gettysburg on a Thursday evening, our alternator quit. We got there mid day but they had us back on the road before 6:30 PM. They were so helpful, used the courtesy car to bring us into town, rather than have us sit and wait. They found an alternator and installed it quickly; keeping us informed and picked us back up. The entire staff was friendly and interested in getting us up and running. Best service I have experienced in a very long time. Thanks guys
Getting my car serviced is never fun, but these guys make it better. They are fast, efficient, knowledgeable, offer options, and explain things very well
So far, I've only been there for an inspection, but they were great. Reasonable time frame and rate. I will likely be back in the future for regular maintenance and repairs on my truck.
We use Advanced Automotive for our regular maintenance as well unplanned repairs. They are awesome at getting our vehicles repaired as quickly as possible at a reasonable price. They don't plus sell us. For instance, I had a minor leak in my valve cover gasket that they monitored for over a year before it needed to be replaced. I appreciate their practical mindedness when working with older vehicles.
I love love love this Advanced Automotive! I have always had a good experience here. I always come back because they do a good job. They are generally pretty quick with my car, I never have to wait too long. Very nice and honest people:)
Kevin and the crew are curteous, knowledgeable, efficient, and reasonably priced. Their waiting area is ample and clean, they even have a separate play area for the kiddos. I highly recommend them for your automotive needs.
I have used Advanced Automotive many times, and they are wonderful. They have done inspections, oil changes, and repairs. Everyone there is friendly, polite, and professional. They always have the work finished quickly, and charge very fair prices. They're honest and they don't try to "add or sell you" extra products or services. I highly recommend them.
(Edit after response: please let this photo say all it needs to in response to the owners message. Laws are written the way they are and for the safety of everyone on the road, no one will take issue with that. But everyday we all make decisions on what is reasonable. I’d love to watch anyone who works for this company obey the letter of the law to its entirety, do you think they come to a complete stop at every stop sign? Never go slightly above the speed limit? Doubtful, who does? This is a shop that will claim technicalities left and right and clearly take advantage of anyone who doesn’t know any better. I’ll say it again, get bent.)
Thought I had finally found a decent shop in Warrenton but I was wrong. Can’t imagine where all these good reviews are coming from when they have mechanics and supervisors failing a state inspection for 1/2 an inch of torn wiper blade. They’ll cite the laws of course, saying any amount of tear can’t pass, but any reasonable shop worth going back to will be happy to exist in the grey areas and tell you as much during something as mundane and unnecessary as a state inspection. Finding a reasonable shop with reasonable mechanics is clearly an impossible task in this area. Get bent.
I had a pretty significant brake issue. I knew I’d probably need new front rotors and pads. I came by a little before closing and they took care of my vehicle first thing in the morning. Great communication and great service. I will return. Thank you, Kevin. Y’all did a great job!
Amazing service, great people who work there, fast, efficient, and they even have an area for the kids (huge plus as a parent)! I had issues with my tires and they were so quick to help me, ask if I needed anything, and reasonably priced! Definitely recommend.
I love Advance Automotive. They are uniformly fast, right, and easy to deal with every time I’ve needed work done on any car in my family. They also are personally pleasant to deal with. When an unexpected problem turned up on one of my visits, they took care of it without charging for the labor, which is way beyond the requirements of good business. I always have great confidence that whatever the problem is with my car, they will take care of it and treat me fairly of better than fair. If your care needs work, bring it here.
