Well stocked with knowledgeable sales people and fast courteous service. Went to Autozone after first stopping at O'Reilly that did not have item needed and appeared to have far less inventory overall.
Went to store in Enon in mother inlaws car. . Got battery tested. Said it needed replaced. NP. Employee said battery was 170-250$ had 3 differnt options. And they would take care of install right now. Simple air filter removed and replace the battery. . Had wife come to chester with mil and they were told a differnt price. Had no options only 250$ and that they only do simple installs at chester location. Sounds like they dont want to work and tried to pull one over on my wife. Wife said young emplyee was very abrupt with her when she asked questions on why i was told differnt. I returned the battery when i got off. I wont come back to auto zone. Know your job, simple top pole is easy enough for kids to install you aint offering nothing if thats all you can handle. Dont recommend this location or autozone to anyone.
Replaced a defective car battery. System said it was still under warranty. No charge. Young lady who helped me was really on top of things, much appreciated!
They really get no ⭐️ at this location, 30 minutes at this store felt like a year , because it was a very miserable experience, Horrible, beyond horrible customer service ,at this location, the store clerks were all very unfriendly and rude , My battery had died , they kept saying it was the alternator and I told the store clerks it wasn’t the alternator , and the store clerk wanted me to park in a Handicap spot , so she could replace the battery, I told her that’s very very illegal, , the store clerk said it’s her store and she can do what she wants and have customers park where ever she wants to, After this horrible experience, I went to get a diagnostic on my alternator, and it passed , very very unknowable about car stuff at this location
The guy that helped me this evening was really good at his job. I'm glad he was the one that came to help me,alot of the times they really don't know know about cars/trucks they just go by what the computer tells them. But thank you again wish I could have remembered his name but if he reads this I'm was the 1 with the chrysler 300 battery problem in my chevy malibu thank you again so much for helping me understand more about the OBDII codes on my 300 you are greatly appreciated.
Autozone is Autozone right? This one is a tad bit different. The women that work there are knowledgeable and hard workers. My 17-year-old son is training to be a mechanic. It was important to me that he recognized woman can do it all too!! The ladies there took time with him and walked him around that store to ensure he had everything to change his o2 sensor. I love this!! I love them.
Yesterday my husband and I followed our daughter over to AutoZone to get her battery checked out. Also, while driving over to AutoZone, we noticed our daughter had some type of hose hanging from underneath her car. When we got there, my daughter went inside to ask for some help. KG was the one who helped us. He checked her battery and said it was good.
After arriving at AutoZone, my husband looked underneath the our daughter's car. He asked me to go inside to see if they sell heavy duty zip ties. I met with KG again and explained what was going on. He said he could get us a couple of zip ties to help to secure the hose . He followed me outside and stood and talked to us while my husband secured the hose. KG was so pleasant and nice to work with. Thank you KG for such wonderful customer service!! It seems these days, it is hard to come by with a lot of businesses. If we have any other needs for our car, we will be going there!! Thank you again! Ask for KG at the Chester location!
Greeted as you walk in every time, and always offered assistance immediately. They have the parts I need 9 out of 10 times, and the prices are competitive. Their detailing section is decent, but my passion for detailing makes me want a bit higher end product line available.
A very nice young lady helped me at the Chester location.
She was very knowledgeable about cars.
That was a blessing because I barely know anything about cars!!
I told her what I needed.
She described the different brands and showed them to me so I could compair them.
She also installed my new wipers, and filled up my windshield wiper fluid that I just bought.
The whole time she had a Smile on her face.
It was the Best Customer Service !!

Had corrosion on my battery which caused my battery to stop working properly. Someone got it to Auto Zone and the gentleman working late that evening not only help us clean the battery but also replaced one of the clamps that connects to the positive side of the battery. I was so appreciative of their professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to help. I wish I remembered their names to give them a proper shout out here. I always run in to eager-to-help employees at every Auto Zone.
Great service! I needed to replace a headlight, and Phillip came out in the 90+ degree heat, replaced the bulb, and even fixed the tiny, awkward clip that accidentally fell out when I first removed the bulb.
Robbie is awesome!!!!!! I blew a tire and don’t know how to change one and he helped me no issues. I came in and told him what happened and he came to our rescue. Amazing guy and amazing help!!! This auto zone knows how to employ!
“Laurie” was rude to my friend and i from the time we walked in she asked if she could help and when we told her what we needed instead of telling us where to find it (transmission fluid) she was telling us that she couldnt help us figure out the type of fluid we needed for the car because store policy (what???) . we also were rushing because it was 15 mins to close and she wouldnt stop talking to us about how she couldnt help us for 10 mins then was yelling at us because it was 2 mins til closing. we still were saying thank you and yes ma’am etc and she was being very rude didnt say “youre welcome” or see if we needed a bag for what we did end up buying. shouldve gone 2 advanced
The selection on car batteries was limited. The salesman who helped me though was very helpful! I can't recall his name but he's middle aged about 5ft.10" and drives a mustang. We spoke about cars. He knows his information.
Great experience. I needed break lights and was helped by Mr. Danny who also offered to put the lights in for me, in the cold. I really appreciated his help with getting and installing the bulbs for me!
I went there about a week ago to get a part for my car, today I found out it was the wrong part and went to return it tonight. I'd never been there at night so I figured the staff would be as nice and friendly as during the day. I was wrong. The old man there didn't great me, I had to go to him. He treated me as if I were returning something that wasn't theirs and kept looking at it to see if it was. Then he demanded I get my ID, I did but he did nothing with it, so why? And then he kept demanding my phone number and told me he could only give me store credit. There was no, "thank you for shopping with us" or "I'm sorry we sold you a part you couldn't use."
Needless to say I will not be shopping here anymore.
This man personally helped me test my alternator and battery and completely uninstalled the old battery and installed the new battery. He was my savior honestly.
This is the nearest AutoZone to my house, however, if it wasn't I would probably still come here. No matter the associate they are always the most friendly and helpful people no matter the day. I never have to ask for a discount or anything they always offer or ask if I'm military, which I am. If I needed anything there is no question that they would lend their help and support.
Sunday around 7:45pm I went to the store to buy something. It was gonna take just 5 mins. But I literally had the door shut in my face, an employee came out and shouted at me “we’re closed man, we just closed up!!!”
I checked Sunday hours and they should’ve closed until 8. I understand they wanna go home after a long day and it was Sunday. But where was the customer service??? “sir” , “ I apologize but we are closed” ??? Something in between those lines. I go to this store all the time. But after tonight I rather drive further and go to a different store where I know they’re not gonna slam the door on my face and be disrespectful.
Usually okay and my fiance's first choice, but last time we went, we had car troubles and it was close to closing. My fiance's car was broken down and we rushed to get his starter and battery out of his car to have them tested bc the cops were rushing us to get his car moved from the side of the road. Now, my fiance is car savvy, definitely a better mechanic than any professional I've met. He told the employee his car was a manual and wound up giving him the starter for an automatic because he didn't take the time to make sure it was right, even though my fiance told him he was pretty sure it was the other one. Guy insisted it was the first one and when we got back to the car...it obviously wasnt. Had to go to the one off Jeff Davis to have it swapped.
Thanks to Wilson for taking the time to assist us with our battery issue. The battery was purchased a year ago in SC and did not have the receipt. Wilson kindly said no problem, let me look it up with your telephone number. He found it and without hesitation replaced the battery that would not hold a charge, purchase Dec 2017. Wilson came out in the rain and installed the battery with no issues or concerns at all. This is the BEST Customer Service one could ask for. This young man is going places and an asset to Auto Zone in every-way. Thank You Wilson and Auto Zone for being there for us. I will be sending a letter reference the same to Auto Zone Corporate sharing my experience with Wilson and this Auto Zone. A+ Rating from our perspective.

Went in to get a new Battery, and was turned away because "they can't install battery, you can go to a repair shop." Never once quoted me a price or tested the battery. Called another Autozone a city over and they can install it no problem. Will never go back.
Never have any parts for any of the vehicles I work on. Great collection of airfreshners for sale. At least your work place will smell fantastic though you will have to go elsewhere for parts and such.
So, after getting off my plane from Atlanta, I noticed my battery for my Ridgeline had died!! Really crappy after a long hop away and I was so worn out...so got on my iPhone and called....Pre told me to bring it on in, they were open until 8PM on Sunday, so off I went.....as soon as I arrived, I was greeted by Pre. She told me she had one customer in front of me but was very polite! I observed how customer focused both she and Shannon were! Very rare these days to find anyone customer focused. So after finding the right battery, Shannon put it in my truck for me and she was as delightful as Pre. I'm not much on reviews, because it's so easy to post something negative, but whenever I have the chance to post something positive I do....it is a rare thing these days. To the management/owners, these two women deserve a raise, or at a minimum some form of recognition for a job well done. Or perhaps I could hire them for my business!! In short, buy from with confidence!! And since you are spending your hard earned money, enjoy the customer service!
