One day means 3 days. One hour means 7 hours. Dropped car to see why tire pressure and check engine was going off, waited 3 days and had to borrow someone else's car to drive to school, ended up getting charged with a 150 dollar inspection fee without any disclosure. Great!

At this point and time I'd give the Waldorf Firestone located in Maryland a 1 star. I came in Saturday afternoon to have a tire change due to a flat tire. They were busy and made an appointment for the next day at noon. My car didn't get on the lift until 1330. I checked out at 1555, almost four hours to change a tire!?? I had a 3.5 drive home. When I did get home I noticed they scratched my rims - looked like they used a screw driver to remove them. Called corporate and in the process of replacing time. Will update when rims are replaced. As promised UPDATE: District Manager in MD contacted me and informed me to go to Firestone in VA. Store manager Mike verified the pictures below and ordered a new rim. The rim was replaced 12.9.22. All is good. Rating changed to a 3 star.

Received excellent service in-spite of not making appointment. Firestone completed service on my vehicle within hours after dropping it off.

I scheduled tire alignment at this location because the other location told me they were capable because he worked at this location. Waited my turn and they tell me because my truck is 4x4 and lifted they cannot align. Last alignment was in Tucson Az at a Firestone and they didn’t have any issues.

Terrible accommodations here. The lady that works the front/phones states they only take walk ins for state inspections so I went in for a state inspection and assumed I would have a wait time. The lady at the front then told me “the best I can do is tomorrow” uhhh I’m confused because she literally just told me they don’t take appointments for state inspections so how the hell are you supposed to get an inspection done? She said “well you better get here tomorrow before we open and wait in line” oh I’m sorry I don’t know if Firestone knows this but we all have jobs and lives so no I can’t come everyday and wait in line waiting and hoping I’ll be seen. Definitely will not be putting my car in their care when they can’t even accommodate people. Not to mention I had gone to another Firestone back home for an oil change and they didn’t seal it correctly and my oil leaked all over my driveway.

Austin and April helped me with 5 of my cars in December. They listened and understood the various issues and helped me prioritize the repairs. All were drop off appointments and were worked quickly. I appreciate the honesty and assistance.

online appointment was never confirmed. I arrived on time after having to call the shop. It took 1 hour and 45 min for a simple tire patch for a nail. even after having an appointment. This is an unacceptable time for a 10minute repair. Then after getting the vehicle home I found that the repaired tire was over inflated by 17 pounds to 46 pounds. Even I am able to look at the inside door panel to verify the proper inflation. And to make things worse, a courtesy check was performed and it was noted that all fluids were at the proper levels. I know for a fact that the windshield washer fluid was out as it had been used up recently. I question the quality of work that is being done by the technicians and the fact that they are taking shortcuts. I usually do not post reviews, but this particular visit warrants a review and a response.

So I can see why people don't give this location good reviews. I dropped my car off first thing in the morning, and I mean 7am when they open. They didn't have my car in the bay until 3pm and didn't have it finished until 4:45pm. Now here's the real kicker; they didn't inspect the back up lights. Even told me it isn't required. While they are somewhat correct, I found the state law. 8. Backup lamps are not required. However, if installed they must operate and be inspected. Inspect for and reject if: f. Any backup lamps do not emit white light. I only put the one that applied to me, but they clearly don't know how to do state inspections properly if they aren't following the law.

April is honest and I trust her judgement. I have moved my service each time she moved, that is how much I trust her. She knows her business and she passes that on to her customers.

Cole and Austin did a great job on my vehicle at the Chester location. Amy was also attentive and friendly. I have trusted my vehicles with Firestone for many years from NJ and now in VA. Highly recommend

Angel helped make my experience at the Chester location great. We called a few times trying to find a quick inspection and she was very tolerant of my few calls. She gave me realistic expectations around when the could service my car. I also added on my drop off note if they could change my oil that would be great although we hadn’t discussed it so I wasn’t expecting it. They got it done!

If you do not value your time and enjoy waiting for hours for an oil change when you have an appointment, Firestone is right for you! For anyone who actually expects timely service, maybe try somewhere else.

I went to this Firestone today about 1:27pm. A lady walked in and asked if she could help me. I told her I was wanting my two back tires taken off if possible and put back on as I was trying to change my rotors and brake pads and the tire would not come off. I explained the lug nuts can’t off fine but there is some corrosion and I was needing to get the tire off. I said I didn’t mind paying whatever. I was told if the tire was to be taken off that it would corroded and stuck again even though I explained I lived right across the street. I then asked if I could get my tires rotated. I was told that the tire would again be stuck if they rotate the tire she said it will basically corrode back. I said I’m driving literally across the street she again said it would be stuck. They should have cameras to show the interaction. I said thanks and left immediately making a call as what she did not know was that I knew that was a lie. I much rather her say they could not do it and was busy vs that mess I was told. After making a necessary call I called my husband and we confirmed with multiple mechanics that it was BS and they she obviously just don’t want to have anyone do it. I have been to this location before and never had an issue but never saw her there as it was just males there the last I was there. Most firestone I visit all over the US as Im military and travel all the time this was a first. But it’s all been documented and passed along ?

Timely, educated, caring and made sure I was taken care of. Went in with the plan of getting a flat repair and ended up walking out with 2 new tires a few hours later. I will likely be getting the next set from them as well! Kristen was amazing. Her and her alone will having me come back. Thanks so much!

Brought my car in a few weeks ago to get my oil changed and to fix a leak in one of my tires. I called around lunch time and asked if they could work me in that day because I randomly had time off work. I appreciate that they did agree to do that. HOWEVER, they only did my oil change, and the lead at the time told me that they were unable to patch my tire because it had previously been patched, and the type of patch that was used before could not be patched over. He proceeded to tell me that all of my tires needed to be replaced anyway because they were worn down to almost below inspection line and quoted me a few sets of tires between $500-$1200. I held off on that and decided to wait until I could take it to my usual mechanic to see if he felt the same way (I did not prompt him/tell him that I took it somewhere else because I wanted his objective position). My usual mechanic patched my tire for $15, and when I asked him about the wear on the tread, he said that my tire levels were fine and had a lot of life left in them (which they should because they are only 2 years old and have like 20,000 miles on them). Whether intentional or not, I do feel like mechanic at Firestone who spoke to me was trying to take advantage of my inexperience and convince me to drop a large amount of money on a new set of tires I didn’t need. I would not trust their recommendations without a second opinion if you are able to do so.

Came here to get inspection and from the moment I walked in, I got additude from the manager. Waited 2 hours no update, nothing. I was the only one in store waiting, which felt crazy. When I asked how much longer she snaps and stated 2 more cars and this is how first come first service works. Even another customer who was in the waiting area with me, asked what her problem was. Not to mention, witnessed many people come and leave cause no one was up front. Horrible service all around. Would recommend not coming to this location.

The staff does a great job every time we take our vehicles there! Austin is always so friendly and pleasant when he answers the phone and goes above and beyond for customers!!

I had to give it a star because it would not allow for no star in order to make the post. So late May early June I scheduled an oil change. Because I work on the midnight shift, I dropped my vehicle off early morning and left it overnight. My daughter picked it up for me the next day. Well, when she got there it wasn't ready, but 30 minutes later it was. When she got home, I called spoke with a male who said he was the manager and that he knows and could guarantee that my oil was changed and tires rotated because he watched the entire event. I just had another shop do my oil, breaks, tire rotation, transmission flush whole nine. I was told that my oil was black and looked like sludge, and that the windshield wiper fluid was barely there. Oh and the best part is there was the penzoil filter sitting on top that they wanted to show me that I shouldn't use. I went to a quick oil change in front of the Kroger sometime in January of this year FIRESTONE!!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! I have the picture of the filter. So I'm guessing that the tires that I purchased from Firestone were not rotated either. So, why pay for all that stuff you tell a woman they need, then don't deliver? Why pay at all? What services have you truly provided me over the years? I have the filter in my possession FIRESTONE! Ask me why I keep putting FIRESTONE in caps? Because FIRESTONE knows that their parts says FIRESTONE! I have been dealing with FIRESTONE for over 10 years. ACCOUNT CLOSED!

Long story short, if you want actual services completed on your car (even the most minor task) do not go here. I had a slow leak in one of my tires and asked them to check it. I had to wait for an appointment the next day (okay that's fine). Even with the scheduled appointment, they had my car for 1.5 hours. And then gave the key back saying there was no issue with my tire, stating that its just cold outside and tires lose air.. I know that, but it shouldnt lose 10 pounds of pressure every 3 days. I took it to discount tires instead for the same issue. They found the nail within 10 minutes. Clearly they did not do any exam on my tires (which is quite literally the simplest task). But told me I should replace them all anyway because they are "worn". I have a brand new car with 5k miles on it.... this place sucks and a waste of time.

I had a great experience at the Firestone on Iron Bridge Road, and I have to give a special shoutout to AUSTIN From the moment I called to walking in, he was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about helping me. Austin went above and beyond to assist me with my concerns. We had tires put on while out of state due to a blow out. The GA store was not trying to cooperate in relationship to by warranty. Austin made things right. He reached out multiple times to ensure that the diagnostic testing showed the accurate information in order for my warranty to be applied. This young man was extremely professional and again showed genuine concern. He deserves a promotion in my opinion.

From the moment I walked in, she was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about helping me. Kristen went above and beyond to explain everything clearly, made sure I understood my options, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. You can tell she takes pride in her work and really values her customers. It’s rare to find such great customer service these days, but Kristen made the whole experience easy and stress-free. Highly recommend this location especially if Kristen is running the show!

Took our car in for one issue. It kept stalling. This location spent $2,000 over 3 months and called us on multiple occasions saying the car was fixed. Could not even get the car out of the lot. When we finally go to pick up the car they say they can't fix the problem. We'll have to be taken somewhere else and refused to give us a refund. Would never go here. Fraudulent activity

Brought my car in mid January to get my spark plugs changed and to get an alignment if it was needed, along with my tires rotated and balanced. Was told by a young tech, with an A name I believe, that I didn’t need the alignment and they ended up doing some system cleanse, that I’m not sure was actually really needed or not. Then as soon as I started to drive off my car starts stuttering and shaking within less than 5mins, with me thinking maybe it was just a reaction to the system cleanse or whatever. It never stopped shaking and I couldn’t get back in time for an appt that day. Set another appt the following weekend due to my work schedule, after calling and explaining what was going on, hoping that maybe the shaking would ease up. However, after hearing the 1st rep telling me to bring it back in for that appt so they could look at it and try to remedy the problem, the other rep that day told me within 2mins of my arrival, that it’s not something they can fix after explaining what my dash was saying and the shaking. Didn’t even have it looked at, and I had to drive away even more anxious about the state of vehicle and worried about my safety. So I took it to my dealership instead the next day (they were nice enough to fit me in) , where I found out that one of the spark plugs installed was defective and I actually did need an alignment. There they not only took time to fit me into their schedule the next day after calling, but they corrected firestones mistakes and test drove my car twice to dbl check and make sure things were alright. So basically, I was lied to. It was something that Firestone could fix and the guy that day just didn’t want to deal with customers I guess and turned me away. In summary, I originally went there with an idea of what needed to be done, spark plug replacements and an alignment. One done with error and one not done at all due to misjudgment. Then had to deal with them not trying to fix anything after making me waste time to schedule an appt and risk my safety, driving over to them just to be turned away. I’m disappointed in the service even tho I was provided good customer service initially.

The best Firestone Auto Care Center I’ve ever visited—truly a 5-star experience! From scheduling my appointment to the moment I left, everything was seamless. Austin guided me through the entire process with exceptional knowledge and professionalism, ensuring a smooth experience. The car technician was also highly skilled and thorough. Outstanding customer service all around! I highly recommend this location to anyone in need of top-notch auto care. Well done to the entire team!

I made a reservation but at the last minute I get canceled because they are busy not all of us have the time to come during the week for work should be a little more responsible.

UPDATE: the owner response below did not actually cultivate any solution. They merely blamed us for not risking the drive back to their shop. ------------------------ Do not waste your time if you value your car and life. Took my car to get my brakes and rotors replaced. While I was driving home after picking it up, my car started shaking and there was a loud clanking noise. I went to the nearest shop and they found that Firestone had left a bolt off of the rear caliper creating an incredibly dangerous situation. This shop luckily was able to put in a bolt to ensure my safety. My husband called Firestone to complain and they couldn't care less. Earl, only offered to look at the car as if that would help anything.

I worked with Craig! ... I called in last minutes because I had a slow leak in my tire. He got me in right away. He explained everything he was going to do in language I could understand.. lol... He was great! I would come back.
