Not sure how a 1.9 mile tow almost comes out to $400. Super rude employees.

Company now goes by Central Valley Towing. At least according to my "invoice". They are a predatory towing company. Towed my car after being in the Lowe's parking lot for maybe an hour. Charged me $388 to get it back. This is apparently what they do; go around towing indiscriminately and holding your property for ransom. They've obviously changed their name so they can keep doing this to people. Disgusting!!!

Worst company ever. Towed my vehicle in October of last year. They ran my card for payment outside the office at their lot and told me the payment did not go through. Was asked to go inside to pay and it went through. Was $402.00 Ended up finding out they charged me twice for a total of $804.00 and wont give me a refund. Will someone at this company please help me with this problem?

Ridiculous company. Charged me for my 4 wheeler that was sitting in the back of my truck when they towed it. My HOA gave me 24 hours to get it moved, and they towed it HOURS before the 24 hour notice was up. When I asked them about it, they said “the HOA had us come and get it early” I don’t think so… the staff was decently nice, but almost $1000 to get my stuff back? Ridiculous.

Worst customer service, some of the employees were so rude and unhelpful. Got towed and they charged me and extra $200 on accident and had to call 4 times to get a refund. Was told multiple different things and that I would have to come in person to get a refund. Very unprofessional company and incompetent. Was the biggest pain to get a simple task done

I don`t recognize wherein those terrible critiques are coming from my enjoy turned into comparison completely. The guy's me and my automobile with admire and whilst it got here time for me to select out it up they they had been very pleasant I pleasant and did now no longer overcharge or beneathneath deliver

I've frequently utilized Associated Towing Idaho with various vehicles. I've never experienced any issues. They send out such lovely and competent personnel. Because I am familiar with their service and attention to detail, I have used them whenever possible. They come highly recommended from me.

Used when my husband's car broke down. First driver quoted us over $100 more than the other guy told us once it was at the yard. Either they went through our glove box or they didn't lock the car and let random passersby get into the glove box. Basically, they stole from us. Disgusting.

The official notice left on window cited "Overnight parking (left for more than 24 hours)". But the vehicle was not parked overnight nor for 24 hours. When we informed the towing company it was not parked overnight, they kept changing their story. They then said there is "no parking allowed on the street at all". However their own signage specifically states parking is allowed between 6 AM and 12 AM. When we pointed this out, they then changed again and said it was towed because it did not have a license plate and was abandoned. This was the reason cited in their official report with the DMV. However, this conflicts with the notice left in the car window. The car had only been there for a few hours and was not abandoned, and it did have a temporary tag in the back window (new vehicle purchase and license plates are in the mail). The agent admitted he failed to check for the temporary tag, due to the window tint and evening hour. They then changed their story yet again and said it was blocking a neighbor's driveway. However, even though they photographed the missing license plate, they did not take any photos of the car allegedly blocking a driveway. This is because it was not blocking a driveway. We have photos of the parking space which shows plenty of room where it was parked. When we went to retrieve the car, they initially wouldn't make a specific appointment, and told us just to go there and wait, because they are "very busy". Also they do not have any public parking available at their pickup location. They suggested we park on the shoulder of the street, which clearly is not wide enough for legal parking. So they are encouraging illegal parking in front of their location. When we told them we would not park illegally at their suggestion, they then suggested we park next door at the hospital, which has signs that clearly indicate the parking lot is for hospital patrons only, and all others would be towed. So they encouraged illegal parking twice. They also towed after hours and would not allow us pickup until the next day, so they could charge an additional day of storage fees.

Useless company. Called them twice to have a car towed and they said they had someone on the way. No one ever came. Please close down already. They say you can't tow someone off a city street, only police? Yet my HOA has the power to have people towed on the exact same street using your company...even if what they said is true, don't tell me that someone is on the way when that was a total lie. Like I said, useless.

LINFORD ALI is exceptionally unprofessional, rude, and unethical. I’ve dealt personally with him 4 times now. He has attempted to tow our employees out of our clearly marked and owned parking spaces and says that he ll let us go for 95$. He is dishonest and unreasonable and still attempts to tow our vehicles unlawfully. He’s simply money hungry and doesn’t care about the rules

The towed my car, and scratched the bottom part of my bumper, I called them and they told me to take my car back so they can see the scratches, so I went back and they checked, they said they did not do that. They have a terrible customer service.

I used my roadside assistance through my insurance company to have my car towed. I did not request this company. First off, took them over 3 hours to arrive, then the driver stated he would not tow the car until he was paid. It was a major disaster from there with me on hold with my insurance company for an hour and the driver holding my car hostage until he was paid. According to the insurance company, the driver would not let them complete the payment and kept hanging up on them, we finally paid him directly because we had been involved in this ordeal for almost 5 hours at this point. We came to find out the insurance company also paid him. Major scam on top of a very stressful situation of having the car break down. Really i blame the insurance company for not vetting the towing companies better but this company absolutely sucks!!!!! Never use them! I have used roadside assistance many times and know this is not the process!!!

My neighbor used this company. The tow truck broke a tree branch. He pulled off in front of my house put the branch on my yard and when I confronted him, he yell a racial slur and took off.

Hours are completely wrong! Owner uses "closed" days to manipulate customers to chare them for storage. Make sure to call and make an appointment and pick up the same day it is towed or you will get a 85$ storage fee per day. In my experience I got towed on a Saturday, saw that it was closed Saturday and Sunday on Google and called the company. Owner told me they were closed and that "release was at 6:00". We took this as needing to come at 6 the next open day. When we arrived to pick up our car we were told we had to make an appointment for pick up and were charged for days that the business was CLOSED! This is manipulation and taking advantage of customers. My organization will be dropping Snowy Mountain Towing for being so unprofessional.

Terrible customer service. Completely and utterly rude and disrespectful to women, like to overcharge you on towing sevices if your another color please do not contribute to their corrupt business.

I note some really horrible reviews but they seem to be for car towing. We used him for shed moving and he was great. I was nervous when he began because he seemed so nonchalant aboout moving our 12' by 12' bunkhouse/guest facility. But they were amazing, with the very heavy and sturdily built structure moved in a very short time and placed squarely on the prepared pad. I'd have happily paid more, but the quote was good enough for him. We'd use him again.

Excellent shed moving experience. It's a pleasure to watch someone who knows what he is doing. It's obvious watching him work that he's done this a lot. Daren moved an 8x10 foot tuff shed for me. He was recommended by the Tuff Shed store where I purchased the shed. The shed needed to be moved from a side driveway to a residential side yard space. Both ends of the move had space challenges that he handled very well. Price was fair and as quoted. He arrived promptly and had the shed delivered within an hour. I'd definitely call him again if I needed another shed moved.

Shady company. 1. He gave me a receipt that showed him charging me $40 less than what he told me to pay. When I questioned him on it, he added $40 to my receipt but not on his invoice. Obviously some tax evasion here. 2. He told me he will tilt his ramp on the tow truck so that I can drive my vehicle off the truck. I told him unless I'm getting a discount, he can do the work himself. He then said he didn't want to damage anything on my car to which I reminded him, all damages caused by him would be charged back to him.

The guy charged us $40 to keep our car because he didn't come let us get our car out because he had fallen asleep.

Look I know no one likes being towed, but the employee was very nice and apologetic, even though we were the ones that parked where we shouldn't. Would have put a 5 stars if i didn't have $200 deficit in my bank account.

This is very dishonest company. I also have a tow company and proper procedures are not followed. They are out to rip people off and taking only cash to keep from having to report, Stay away!!!!!!!!

Backed into my kids play set and then told me he didn’t care if he broke my things because he was the boss and he delivers 1500 buildings a year. When I called and complained to my husband that he needed to come home because this guy was breaking stuff Daren (he) said if I said he was breaking things one more time he would start charging me $150 an hour and call the police to come do a report and charge me the entire time they were there so that I had to pay for saying that. Straight up extortion to not report my bad experience and threatening me with my husband on the phone! Not only horrible customer service but he flat out threatened me. Filing a BBB report.

Predatory towing built around inadequate signage and extortionist boot fees. Please don't do business with them. Will put a boot on your car while you are in it, shopping, or eating, and then demand 80 bucks to take it off. Such a shady buisiness. Look at more reviews under Snowy Mountain Towing and you will see plenty more 1 star reviews. Most likely the same company. Reputable companies do not need to make money this way!

245 dollars..... 245.... My car was towed as I parked in front of my condo.. Picked up July 3rd ( closed the forth but answered the phone) charged a 5 % fee for using a debit card. Owner was too busy with a private phone call to even engage in conversation. A nightmare.

I'm a private investigator in the Salt Lake City area. I was hired by a client to locate and recover her vehicle for a private repossession from an ex-girlfriend. Once the vehicle was located I contacted Snowy Mountain. They were prompt and very professional. Working together, we recovered the vehicle without incident and saved my client's credit, avoiding a bank repossession. Snowy Mountain did a great job and they were reasonably priced. They will receive repeat business from my agency.
