Very happy I brought my car here. I was recommended by 4 different people throughout the valley for transmission work. My 2019 Honda Pilot started going into limp mode and I took it to Mario, he could have ripped me off big time but said I didn't need the work done. Anywhere else they could have taken me to the cleaners for 7k to replace my transmission, cause they were not sure what was going on. I am so appreciative to have a safe place to go when in need knowing they are honest guys.

I noticed my car (2013 Ford Escape) was leaking more than usual l but assumed it was oil. I’ve known the car had a leak for awhile but I just had a nagging feeling I should have it looked at. Took it to a mechanic who said it was leaking transmission fluid and recommended Mario & Freeway Transmission. I was pretty worried because I just had the belt fan replaced and didn’t want another costly repair. Mario & the team did a fantastic job with assessing the issues with my car and repairing it at a significantly lower cost than I expected (especially compared with a dealership) and my car is backing to running smoothly. No one wants to have transmission problems but if you do, I couldn’t recommend the Murray Freeway Transmission shop more.

I've worked with Freeway Transmission on several cars. They treat me fairly, the work is good, and prices are reasonable. They communicate well with me about my car status and generally have my car done ahead of the estimate.

They were kind, patient and knowledgeable. It makes sense why the tech at burt brothers did not even hesitate to answer my question of a trustworthy transmission place to recommend Freeway Transmission. They were able to find the specific parts wrong in my transmission, without needing to do a full 8-10 thousand transmission replacement, like it was initially looking like. ~2,100 was a relief to hear as the actual total for what was necessary to replace.

This place is great! I was having trouble with my check engine light being on and they were able to get me in fast. I ended up needing to replace my transmission and they gave me two different options. I went with the remanufactured option and Mario was great to communicate with me the entire process. From ordering the transmission to getting it put it, he kept me informed the entire way. I love that they included pictures and detailed notes in the work summary that they sent me. I would definitely go here again!

My first ever transmission problem on a 2013 Nissan was taken care of by Freeway Transmission In Murray. They were recommended by Burt Brothers in Park City. Mario took time to explain and keep me updated on everything going on. Their detailed explanation of any issues was truthful and to the point. Customer Service is excellent. Thanks to a great family business.

Visited the Murray location after requesting estimate/diagnosis/quote online. No one ever responded to email which meant I had to go in. Will not ever consider for any transmission work again. Was treated poorly by man at front counter. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Brought my vehicle in to get the clutch looked at. I was asked if my car was stock (popular car to modify I guess) and I told him it had 1 aftermarket upgrade. Got a call back with the diagnosis and was told my car was not stock. It was an issue to Mario that I told him it was stock minus the intake. My vehicle came off the assembly line just like it sits minus the intake as mentioned. I was talked down to as if I had no idea what my vehicle was. This vehicle, like many, has different sub models. 1 of these sub models is the turbo charged one. SRT-4 not SXT or SRT-4 appearance package. I paid for the inspection and got the car to a different shop that knew what car they were looking at. Totally flabbergasted at my experience.

I had a CEL code P0711 that had come up for my 2016 Camaro SS. After the Sandy location had fumbled this by not asking all of the questions they should have and seemingly not understanding what the issue was with this code, I brought the Camaro to Mario and his team. After first calling and speaking with Mario, he showed me that he has seen the issue I was having with other Chevy vehicles and was very knowledgeable of the problem. He was quick to order the Transmission Wiring Harness I needed to fix the issue. It seemed to get lost in shipping, but Mario was well on top of ordering a new one from his distributor. I'm used to feeling like I need to be the squeaky wheel that gets the grease when it comes to mechanics, but with Mario and his team, they were VERY proactive and kept me updated during the entire repair process. Thanks to Mario, my Camaro has been back on the road for a little over a month now with no CEL in sight!

Definitely look elsewhere. Had a transmission error code on my Jeep, took it to Freeway and after running diagnostics they said I needed a full new transmission for about 6k. Had a second look and was informed that it was just the TCM Module (1k). Mario will seek the highest payout.

I thought I had a transmission problem so I had Freeway Transmissions look at it. They drove and tested it. They were very honest and told me the transmission was fine. This is a very good business. Highly recommended.

I had an amazing experience! Mario was honest, timely, and did a fantastic job on my vehicle. I originally came in with what I thought was a transmission problem, and he let me know that in fact, I had an engine issue. He referred me to to an engine specialist, and told me to come back for a transmission service when the engine was fixed. He also let me know that the amount that I had already spent, would go towards that service when needed. I came in 2 months later and not only did he get me in quickly, do a great job on the vehicle, but also honored my credit without me even asking. I was so thoroughly impressed!! It's so great to know that there are honest people in the world, and skilled technicians with integrity. I would recommend his shop to EVERYONE! Thank you Mario!!

I brought my Infiniti QX50 to Mario at Freeway Transmissions because we learned we had a big problem with our transmission and Mario was highly recommended. Well, Mario saved us a ton of $$$. Prior to performing the repair, he suggested we contact Infiniti to see if this is still covered? lucky for us we were under 60k miles and this was fully covered. All thanks to Mario who was helpful and honest. This is a top notch company!!

While no one wants to get a new transmission in their car. Mario made this place pleasant. He was very informative and clear in his information. He also gave me some very good advice. I had just bought my van from Karl Malone Chevrolet when it needed a new transmission 10 mi later. He asked me honestly if I would trust them to do the job. Well of course the answer was no. I would much rather have a AAA rating from BBB business replace my transmission. I'm having good luck so far with my new transmission.

I had to get my transmission replaced in my GMC Sierra. These guys did an incredible job! While this service and repair was expensive in nature, I felt in quality hands at all times. They didn't try to upsell me on anything and they told me how it was and what the best course of action was to take. This process was also not a quick one with delays in shipping, which are not in their control. However, they kept me in the loop with everything and the replacement itself was quite quick. Thanks again for getting me back on the road! Highly recommend!

Want to give a shout out to Mario and his team. We were told by the Ford dealership that we needed a new transmission. After calling around for other quotes Mario was able to not only quote us a better price but his customer service was excellent and ultimately that is why we went with him. He ran a test drive and diagnostic on our car and told us that he wasn’t finding a transmission issue. Very honest. We were ready to hand him $5k. Got the car fixed elsewhere because it’s not the type of work he does, and got the car back in a day. We were without a car for 2 weeks but it would have been much longer if not for Mario. We will definitely be back in the future for any transmission service and highly recommend him to anyone in need.

They gave me an appointment to flush the transmission oil and check cause of clunk shifting into gear when it was cold started. They asked to leave it overnight and never replied until 3 pm the next day saying they started it and thought it needed new mounts. They didn't know How many it had and would have to wait another day to put it on a lift to confirm the diagnosis. They didn't even change the transmission oil and charged $100 to basically start it up and put it in gear. I won't go there again or recommend them cause of a clunk shifting in to gear

I highly recommend this business. Mario and the team are great and truly care about the customer. I had my entire transmission replaced on a 2013 Ford Fusion, neither a trivial repair nor an inexpensive one. The vehicle began leaking engine oil a week after the repair was finished. I took it to my mechanic who Mario knew as well. The damage was caused by Freeway during the transmission repair. Freeway Transmission covered the parts and labor for the repair which was nearly $800 after my mechanic found the problem. They could have walked away and said it wasn't their fault but didn't.

I was so frustrated with Mario and his service. First off, they will only put in new transmissions, so if you are on a budget and are looking to do a used transmission, go somewhere else. But more importantly, I ended up getting a battery changed and he told me that it was too much paperwork to work with my warranty company, so he asked me to just get reimbursed instead. This after I told him I wanted a used transmission and would be taking my car elsewhere? I don't think that's a coincidence. Finally, he gave me my car back with low tire pressure and didn't even tell me. Just a terrible experience and very unprofessional.

Transmission fluid was leaking from my F150. They got my truck in Tuesday morning and it was complete Wednesday evening. They stayed till the very end of the workday to make sure the vehicle fix was complete before the holiday. Also, they were helpful before bringing it in, I asked them advice about driving it there and they were more than welcome to giving me a few minutes of advice to make sure I got the car there without any damage to the transmission incase the fluid was extremely low.

Prior to purchasing a used Subaru for our son, we took it to national transmission shop to have it checked out. We only went to the national chain because it was close to the dealership. The national chain told us it needed to have the valve body replaced, which would cost $2000 - $2500, so we bought the car knowing we would take it to Freeway Transmission to have the work done. Freeway Transmission’s estimate was much more reasonable than the national chain transmission shop. Mario & his team did a thorough job of inspecting the car and told us it wasn’t a valve body issue, but was in fact an internal transmission issue and the transmission would need to be replaced. Mario went the extra mile and called a Subaru Dealership and found out for us that the car was still covered under an extended warranty. They recommended we take it to the Subaru dealership to have the work performed because it would be covered by the warranty. In this day and age when others might not have taken the time to go the extra mile for the benefit of their customers, so that they could get the extra money,, Mario & Freeway Transmission did the right thing by passing along this info. to us. The respect, care, customer first attitude, value and integrity they showed us saved us several thousand dollars. We would HIGHLY recommend Freeway Transmission and will definitely take our cars there when we need high quality, honest work performed on our cars, and at a reasonable price as well!

Mario and his team really did a great job. I was sure I would have needed a new transmission or at least some major service. He was able to diagnose a problem that my usual mechanic was unable to see and I saved approximately 3-4k because of his skill in diagnosing the problem. If you have any work that needs to be done involving a clutch or transmission you would be wise to call Mario up. He is a skilled and honest mechanic. He looks out for his customers.

Had some troubles with a transmission on a 2001 van I purchased to convert for van traveling. Mario helped me out and let me know what my options were without pressure. It's never fun dealing with this sort of thing and having to spend $ like that but if you can find people like these guys you feel a little better about it. I ended up replacing the trans but it came with a great warranty. They also had me bring it back in for a checkup after we traveled to the mountains to make sure everything looked good after the trip and putting the trans under the stress of the mountain driving.

I was referred to Mario at Freeway Transmissions when my car started making scary noises and struggling to accelerate. I filled out an online request and he called me to let me know that what was happening might be under warranty and to try the dealership. But after the dealer said a simple repair wouldn't work, but instead I needed to pay $8,000 for a new transmission I said "no thank you" and had my car towed over to Freeway Transmission. Mario was super helpful and communicative and ended up saving me $7,500, PLUS he finished my car's repairs a day early. I cannot recommend Freeway Transmissions & Clutches enough!

I am writing in to inform anyone who is reading this that I would 100% recommend Freeway Transmission to anyone. My personal mechanic referred me to Freeway when he ran a code on an issue I was having with my car. Knowing how costly Transmission repairs are, I knew I was about to be a grand or so in the hole. I called in to make an appointment and spoke with a very friendly gentleman named Gordon. I informed Gordon a brief run down of my cars issue and he immediately told me to reach out to Subaru as they just extended their warranty on their transmissions. This alone says a lot that they are honest and not taking every job they can for the money. After they ran a diagnostics check on my car, they found that there was a shortage on my brake switch which was running a code related to my transmission. Mario, another friendly and kind worker informed me that with all parts and labor, the cost would be just under $170.00. I could have not been happier since I initially thought my car problem was going to cost me a grand. My point to my story is that Freeway is not only friendly & kind but they are honest which is hard to find these days. 10/10 on all aspects of great quality customer service.

When the bank ended of my truck went I called them and Mario walked me through the process. He worked me in right away gave me a quick diagnostic report and was honest and forthright with what I needed and in the end gave me a great price. I was exceptionally satisfied with ther service received and the work provided and if I ever needed service again I won't go anywhere else.

I had taken my manual 2005 chevy aveo here when there was something wrong with my shifting mechanism (can't remember exactly what the issue was) a few years back, and they fixed it quickly and for a decent price. They made sure I understood how much it was going to cost and how long it was going to take to fix it. I also had an issue recently with my new 2014 Chevy Sonic, so I called these guys first. Instead of taking my money to complete the repair, they kindly recommended that I call the Chevy dealership first to make sure that the vehicle was not under warranty. They could have just let me come in and pay for the repair, but they didn't. I trust this place to be honest and actually care about their customers. While I ended up not needing a repair from them this time, I will absolutely choose them first for any issues that I may have in the future that they are able to assist me with. I will also refer friends and family to this shop. Thanks!
