Huge two thumb way up for the crew at this business. They did a terrific job installing a hitch on my Ford Explorer. The price was fair and the customer service and installation competence was off the chart. Because of the free WiFi I was able to get some online work done while I waited in their comfy waiting room. This was a total 5 star experience for me.
I had two trucks that needed gooseneck hitches ASAP. Called at 4pm on Monday, by 11am on Tuesday I had two trucks with turn over B&W hitches and a 7pin installed. I will definitely return.
I attempted to remove my 5th wheel hitch, my mechanic attempted to remove my 5th wheel hitch with no success. I anxiously went to Discount Hitch in Arlington and Shane took the time to take a look at things and within 5 minutes had the hitch unstuck. 10 outta 10 would highly recommend this business!!! I needed a receiver hitch installed on my Mustang convertible so I could haul a hitched bicycle rack. U-Haul couldn't figure it out and even slashed my tire trying to get my car up on a ramp. Other places I called said they couldn't or they quoted me an unreasonable amount. I called and talked to Shane and he assured me that they could do it they just didn't carry the hitch I needed, he recommended another company to order the hitch from, I got it delivered yesterday I dropped off my car and hitch this morning and it was installed by this afternoon as promised. He also personally dropped me off at work. ( I work 10 minutes away so don't expect that) It looks great and they were the best deal by far!
I cannot recommend Shane and Discount Hitch enough! From the first call to installation and out the door he and his team were wonderful to work with!!! Also best prices in DFW! We were referred by a friend in the Austin area who drove to DFW have work done at this location with Shane. Go see them! They are great!
Hey everyone for those who might have read my review earlier about my installation of my Backflip MX4 from these guys,I want to retract my first review. And let me tell you why,first after I noticed the problem I looked to my invoice and it said a 90 day labor warranty. Well the owner called me and explained that the reason for the 90 day warranty is because some people after getting an item installed on their vehicle or anything for that matter,tend to not take care of it and tear it up and want to bring it back and expect the company to fix it or replace it. I've known and met people like this,so the owner is correct on this. So what I'm trying to say is,this was a misunderstanding about the 90 day labor warranty. So this is why I wrote the review. I'm a straight shooting kind of guy,I don't take advantage of situations like this I actually take care of my stuff. So i really appreciate the owner giving me a call and explaining some things to me. He seems like a stand up kind of guy. So with all that being said I would recommend bringing your vehicles here any of your needs. I was wrong to write this review all because of my invoice. So the owner told me to bring it back and he'll take care of it,it just needed to be adjusted. For those who know my reviews ya'll I try to be as honest as possible, noones perfect.
The way you wish every company did business… went above and beyond to deliver parts to an RV dealer allowing us to pick up a fifth wheel from out of state. Kudos to Shane. Amazing pricing as well!
I had a nightmare trying to get a Uhaul appointment. They had installed our last hitch but this time I was on a time crunch. So i tried somewhere new Nd couldn't be more pleased. They had to order the stock but it was there in the 2 days promised me, the whole process took about 40 minutes and the place was super clean, staff super friendly and it cost a little less than Uhaul just for added bonus. We did hook it up and it hauled perfect

This place is the real deal. Quality work at a price that can’t be beat. They beat a quote I had from Rack Attack by over $200 for the same exact hitch. Not only that, the service advisor went above and beyond by helping to install my bike rack to the hitch. I can’t recommend this place enough
This shop is amazing. I called them needing to have a hitch installed on a newly purchased Toyota Highlander and needed it installed within 2 days. They didn’t hesitate and ordered parts the same day and I was able to drop my vehicle off the next morning at 9am. It was completely finished by 12 noon that day. They have great customer service and will get you what you need! Hitch came out amazing and I am currently traveling cross country with a vehicle trailered behind thanks to their quick service!
If I could give them 10 stars, I would. We needed a hitch installation at the very last minute for a cross country road trip. After calling multiple places that quoted us $700+ and no same day installation, we called Discount Hitch. They quoted us a very reasonable price and said they could have it installed same day within a few hours. Everyone here was so helpful and professional. The waiting area was clean, air conditioned, and comfortable. I truly cannot express how grateful we are to these guys for their help. We will definitely be repeat customers.
These guys know their stuff and have great prices. They told us that if we had issues after we left, to call and they would walk us through the process. Didn't need to because they took the time to explain everything so well that hitching up our Jeep to the motorhome was a breeze.
I recently purchased a new 2023 Honda Pilot. It wasn't until I got home that I realized it didn't have a hitch. After much frustration, I found Discount Hitch. Shane took such good care of me. As Honda hasn't released the prototype for the hitch on this new model, Shane went to the trouble of finding a hitch that would work. I was in and out in minutes. Also, Discount Hitch was a THIRD of the price that the dealership quoted. While I was there, the owner came to greet me and made sure everyone was taking good care of me. It's a pleasure to do business with folks like this. I highly recommend this business.

Looks like a 12yr old girl installed my 7way plug and trailer brake controller. These incompetents drilled holes in my Crome bumper for a 7 way plug that unnecessarily protrudes out past my bumper instead of just drilling into the metal underneath. They left the wiring for the trailer brake controller exposed and looking shotty also unnecessarily. They couldn’t be bothered to roll up my truck window when done either and left my truck unsecure outside for hours. I get to fix their mess now. They also charged me 150.00 for a Curtis 51120 that I can’t even find online for near that. They ripped me off but the install was so bad I’m embarrassed at how they left my truck looking. These guys are very inexperienced or just don’t care. My receipt says ALL SALES FINAL in all caps and bold font very big. I got screwed trusting Shane.

They did a great job reinstalling our fifth wheel hitch which was incorrectly installed by another company. Thank you all for your fast, efficient service! We called them at 8:15 Monday morning and they had the hitch reinstalled by 2 something! Super service! Highly recommend this place!!
Shane is very knowledgeable about his products. I had a B&W Gooseneck and 5th wheel hitch and Bakflip cover installed on my 2019 Silverado 3500HD. I highly recommend coming here for your auto accessories.
Most professional and dependable towing and hitch shop, they really know what they are doing and have the best prices and I really shopped around. Uhaul charges a ridiculous amount for the same work. Shane was super helpful and got out break controller installed, working and tested. We towed our RV from Dallas to Colorado, Yellowstone and Grand Teton, everything worked perfectly in our 3300 mile trip. They are truly the best so their shop gets busy quickly, try to be there early to be first in line. Thank you for a great job.
