This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
Ray's Automotive Specialist in Waco, TX scores 98/100, with reviews praising knowledgeable, trustworthy work and standout customer service. Customers note professional, honest diagnostics, clear explanations, timely turnarounds, and even financing options. Strengths: thorough repairs, reliability, and communication. Complaints are rare; no consistent issues with wait times appear. Pricing feedback is limited—no firm read on costs beyond perceived fairness. Inventory variety, yard organization, and ease of finding parts aren’t covered in the available reviews, so insights there remain uncertain.

Ray at Ray’s Automotive Specialist is top-notch. This is a great shop with a very knowledgeable and honest staff. Ray took the time to properly diagnose my work truck, and his assessment was right on target.
He also gave me great pointers and advice on how to keep my truck running smoothly, which I really appreciated. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and their vehicles, not just making a quick sale.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy mechanic who knows what he’s doing, I highly recommend Ray and Ray’s Automotive Specialist.
