This place has become a joke! Don't take nothing but water bottle's , not #1&2 plastic. Don't take all clean cardboard just plain brown cardboard. Been recycling for years. This place is trash. out to make money for them selfs not to help clean up Odessa. I'm done with this place!!!
Its better than nothing i suppose. Odessa needs improvement on recycling. They got rid of the large bins that were scattered around town so we gotta catch this place when its open. This hours of operation sign is out front
Like to have a place to recycle closed by but I think they should have more recycling options(more thing that can be recycle) and make it easier for the community to recycle. In my opinion it will be great to have multiple station to take items in bulk and receptacle trought the city to promote recycling.
The only way I can make the way the Time Machine runs make sense is if they are anti recycling zealots who want to make recycling look difficult and unpleasant.
This place is such a joke. Took some cardboard to get recycled (a truck bed full) and they said due to the card board amount that I would have to take it to midland. Recycling is recycling regardless the cardboard size or amount. They should just shut down this recycling center if this is the case and can not meet business operations to run this recycling center. If this recycling center has to call on more of the cardboard metal recycling ben haulers to get the cardboard hauled from its location then do it. It’s no wonder why in our area it’s difficult to get others to recycle. I like the new remodel of the facility but come on now this place could be run more effectively. Just another government ran business at the cost of the tax payers.
I think it’s crazy my olmans truck got labeled as a contractor because our had tools in the back and even if we was contractors why we couldn’t dump here I mean it’s tree limbs anyways
I wish we could recycle so much more in Odessa, but I'm grateful for what we can recycle. The people who work there are so nice and willing to answer all my questions.
This place is absolutely amazing. The fact that we can take our unwanted items and deposit them in bins with no extra cost is definitely a good thing for the taxpayers. The people that work there are always awesome and make sure you know exactly what bins your items go in. They keep the property well maintained and it is always easy to navigate. Excellent job yall!
Friendly people work here and they accept more categories of recyclables (it seems) than in Midland including food cans. I forgot to ask confirm if they accept CFL's and batteries though. FYI cereal boxes go into the cardboard bin.
Great place to get rid of plenty of cardboard, even if you have a big load of cardboard. Ask them and they will hel you out

Well, apparently the times the place is open does not correlate with actual time. We got there before 4:00; which is the time on the website & it says it closes at 1:00 on Saturdays...
