I just want to give a huge shoutout to Scott, the manager at O’Reilly’s. He is hands down one of the most helpful, knowledgeable, and respectful people I’ve dealt with in the auto parts industry. Every time I come in, he takes care of me and makes sure I leave with exactly what I need.
Scott really knows his stuff and takes the time to explain things if needed. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about customer service the way he does. O’Reilly’s is lucky to have him managing their store. I’ll definitely keep coming back because of the great service he provides!
O'Reilly in mesquite, tx lied to me about the warranty on the part I got. When I went to O'Reilly in Rockwall, tx they are the ones who told me that the information the mesquite store told me was incorrect. I called the mesquite store and they admitted to the wrong information given so I give them 1 star an the Rockwall store 5 star because they sold me the part I needed with a life time warranty as the same price as the 1 year warranty the mesquite store sold me I bought 2. they didn't have to do that but I really appreciate them for doing that.
I had a great experience with Sean at this O’Reilly Auto Parts location. He was extremely helpful in finding the exact correct bulbs for my car and even helped install them. He was knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole process fast and easy. Customer service like this is rare — highly recommend asking for Sean.
This was my first time buying windshield wiper blades for my Jeep. Brad, the Asst Mgr assisted me in selecting the right one and showed me and explained the various prices. He also installed the new wipers for me and was very friendly and helpful. Great service!
Bradd was awesome! I called about a battery issue and he told me he would look at it, came to the store and he had me in and out and put a new battery in my car in less than 15 mins.. Give this guy a raise he is the BEST !!!!
Needed a minor part, the employee stepped up to assist and gave the choices that helped me to meet my expectations. This store, in a stand alone building, is spacious. In other words, it has better inventory than other locations.
These guys at this store are so nice and helpful. I needed to replace my gas cap, being a woman with long nails , I asked if they could replace it for me, and there was no hesitation it was done in minutes. Thank you .
I went in to the location off 78 in Wylie. I believe Josh was his name. My car had a slow start and I have corrosion around the battery. It was tested and told me the battery was very good and alternator was charging and the starter was bad. Took it to Firestone down the road and they did an electrical test to find out the starter was great. They tested the battery and the battery was bad. I’m very frustrated because I could have saved time and money ($100+) and bought a battery at Oreily’s while I was there. I only gave two stars because he was nice kid. Can someone please show him how to properly test batteries again?
Dax and Scott have repeatedly been a great help to me with my 3 vehicles, whether it's finding parts quickly, or processing warranties on them. Even when there's a long line in there, their knowledge when helping people, helps make it an efficient, quick stop for me. I prefer Oreillys over the competition, and prefer going to this location the best.
Arrived with 5+ gallons of oil to recycle and they took it, no problem. An added benefit was an oil pan and funnel combo on sale, which I went home with. Friendly staff, busy (when I first came in) or not (by the time I left), same as in Illinois.
I was on family trip many miles from home. The store-brand car battery I bought at another O’Reilly Auto location died after just 16 months. Brought it to this location for warranty service. They could see in their system that I had purchased this battery, where, and when. They knew it was within the warranty period, but they still would not honor the warranty on a weird technicality. The clerk suggested I just buy another battery from him. Absolutely abysmal warranty service. Avoid this and all O’Reilly stores.
Ahmad with O’Reilly Auto Parts here at this location is great! I came in a little late with my wife’s car with a dead battery cell, but this young man was still kind and polite. Helped me change it in a few minutes and I was in my way. Thanks Ahmad
Terrible service. I went to exchange my brake pads to my truck because when I bought them I paid for the lifetime warranty. When I got there the men said they can’t exchange them. When I asked why he said they just can’t. I said paid for the life time warranty, he said they just can’t so I went to another oreilly and they didn’t even question me, they exchanged them and let me know that because I paid for the life time warranty I can exchange them as much as I want as long as I have my truck. The oreilly in Murphy on 544 has better service.
The customer service at this store is atrocious. I noticed last night I had a headlight out. Came to this store specifically because online it advertises Free Bulb Replacement for headlights. I didn’t have the type of screwdriver T20 to do it, so I was willing to spend more $ to go here. The customer service person saw he would have to go underneath to unscrew the access port by the wheel and said nope, too complicated. In reality he just didn’t want to do the advertised service. If you can’t get representatives that want to work, then don’t advertise those services. Luckily, a Good Samaritan and 2 other customers offered to help. He was able to do it in 5 minutes. The customer service representatives at this store could care less. Saw them give a guy with a battery a hard time as well. Will not be coming back. The bulb I bought was also $6-7 more expensive than elsewhere. Would highly NOT recommend.
Tony was awesome! He tested my battery to verify that it needed to be changed. He got me a great deal on a brand new battery. And he changed it! The service was great and the store is super clean. We have never been to this location, but when we are in the area, we will definitely be back if we need anything for the truck.
Scott was so amazingly helpful over the phone he said doesn't look like we carry that part but stop by so I can take a look to make sure we talking about the same part. Basically I didn't know if my third brake light was an LED or a blub. He saw a wire was unplugged in my trunk and plugged it back in and that fixed the issue. Next time I need a part I will defiantly call O'Rielys first. It's amazing to get such personal service in this day and age. Thank you Scott!!
I ordered a oil filter from this store for my mini Cooper in the morning at 10am because I needed to do a oil change in my car and didn't want to go in the store for a period of time so I ordered a curbside pick up. Low and behold it took them over 5 hours to have them notify me that it was ready. Walmart has better pick up than that come on guys. I'll never do another curbside pick up from this store again. Now I also had to do a oil change in near 100 degree weather because of the long wait time. But when I arrived the staff was friendly and greeted me but never again will I do any orders.
I was in this store last night and Daniel was so friendly and kind. He helped me not only find my parts for my car correctly but even suggested a local mechanic to install the parts. I’ll definitely be coming back to this store because of him.
Justin was so helpful! I got a flat tire and tried to air up my tire at the Exxon next door. With no luck I pulled next door to O'Reilly's and he helped me air up my tire enough to get back home! He was more then willing to help me put the spare tire on as well but it was stuck under the truck and not budging ?. Awesome customer service. Thankyou Justin!

My Tahoe needed wiper blades replaced & Bobby & Josh made it happen by providing a high level of customer service.
I’m 83 & was reluctant to get out of my car under today’s quarantine guidelines. Bobby was very helpful in helping set up an account so we could order in store & after confirmation, a time was set up for installation. Josh came out in the rain to install them. The first set didn’t fit, but the second set did.
These are two employees with the customer in mind!
I’m very appreciative of their excellent attitude & service during these trying times.

Bobbie provided me with excellent service. Not only was she knowledgeable about issues regarding various sizes of windshield wipers for the make of my car, she ensured things fit properly and worked correctly before charging me. Even more awesome is she put the blades on for me in the heat of the day! I was really impressed with her level of quality in customer relations.
Very knowledgeable and helpful employees. They always seem to have a positive attitude towards helping find and order parts for our fleet of vehicles. They have a great selection on hand and are always able to get parts that need to be ordered in pretty quickly. This location will always be my number one parts store.
