When in an emergency repairs needed citation for my only Co. Truck for the third time they came through for me from opening to closing time just then able to hand me my keys. Complete break system replacement. That you 78!

They are always busy, so may not get to your repair same day, but it's because they are the best, most trustworthy repair shops in the area. I won't trust my vehicles with anyone else. Super easy to drop off keys while they are closed as well.

This is a great shop to work with. I took my nieces used car in for inspection and repair. The repairs were done in a timely manner. When the car experienced additional issues driving home, Rodney replaced the Autozone battery which I just bought with no charge for labor. When the problem still cropped up, Rodney spent a day running down diagnostics to find the transmission issue was not something he could address. The diagnostic effort was done at no charge. Will definitely use this shop again.
My only complaint is the lack of Saturday hours, even for just drop off, makes it a challenge to use them around the family schedule during the week.

Excellent shop, I had a mechanic from well known shop tell me that my used car I recently bought needs a new transmission. $7k estimate. I went to a transmission shop who said transmission is good then referred me here. They did a tuneup and found a split manifold and repaired for a few hundred. it runs fantastic now.
THANK YOU HIGHWAY 78 AUTO!! I’m generally not one to write reviews on a business even when I get good service. However, when I get exceptional service from a local business I gotta say something. I had three cars that needed service and I’ve been putting off mostly because I’m a procrastinator but also because every time I go to an auto shop it seems I’m there for hours on end and they constantly try to upsell me. A big shout out to Highway 78 Auto. I was pleasantly surprised by their speed ,efficiency and friendly service. I took my three cars in today , they had each of them in and out in roughly 30 minutes. In my 35 years of owning and driving cars and taking them in for service I have never experienced that that type of speed and friendly service from an auto repair shop. I will definitely be returning in the future when I need service on my vehicles.
Can't, with good conscience, go back to this place. Had them replace the fuel pump on my 2000 Focus. It's under the back seat and screws into the tank. Once I filled it up with gas it spilled out all over the ground. They neglected to tighten it up. Called them up, no they won't pay for a tow. I was nervous as hell driving that thing back to the shop. One spark, and it's all over. No more 78 Auto for me!
Good quick service.I dropped off my car in the morning with several brake issues. They were able to get it repaired that day. Good communication. Estimate prior to starting work. Fair price.

I love HWY 78 Auto. They are a family owned shop, when my a/c went out they got me back in the cold same day, when the brakes went out on my haul truck they did it for 1/3 the price the dealer wanted and got it done right away so we weren’t without our haul truck. They give me honest advice on repairing my vehicles. They know what they are doing and you can trust them.

When we moved here 10 years ago, I asked several people around about a good Auto Shop repair and 5 out of 7 people told me about this business. I appreciate their honesty, their good work and how they have been able to service, repair and help with all my vehicles. Their customer service is excellent, reliable and fast. They were even able to help me when my vehicle broke down at the parking lot of the Home Depot in Rockwall! That’s how good their customer service is. They are one of the good family business in the area I strongly recommend!

Good folks! They have fixed several things on my cars the past few years. AC solenoid for fan control. Some gas filter canister thing that I'd never heard of before. Required dropping the fuel tank and cleaning it out. The symptom was the tank would act full when adding gas but clearly not enough had been added to actually fill the tank. Weird one. Amazing improvement in how the Suburban drove! Also, helped with some emissions stuff that has to be done for tags each year. Fair pricing, responsive, and nice. My go-to team when I need something done!
I've taken my cars to Hwy 78 Auto for about five years and even now when I live an hour away I still try to take them my business. They are always fair and have earned my trust. The office is always friendly.
This place is a God Send. Not only are the mechanics friendly and trust worthy. Danielle (front desk) has got to be the nicest person I've ever meet. She always greats me with a smile and she is very knowledgeable about cars. She walks you through the process and it makes me feel good about taking my car there. I had Hwy 78 Auto perform an oil change, state inspection and general welfare check on my daughter’s 2012 Nissan Frontier. The truck has 140,000+ miles on it. They cleared out a sputtering windshield washer sprayer but otherwise said the truck was in good condition. That’s great service and gives peace of mind to a father. Their shop is clean, the waiting room is nice and comfortable, and Danielle is super pleasant and friendly. Great experience!
This place is the absolute best in the world. I would never ever dream of taking a car anywhere else. I have recommended them to several family members and friends, and each one of them feels the same. We've all called around and priced various work we need done, and Hwy 78 Auto beats every competitor every single time. And not by just a little. I mean like seriously beats them. One example, a friend of mine needed a certain repair, everywhere she called said $270 for the part, then $300 - $400 for labor. Hwy 78's price? $280 for BOTH parts and labor. And this same scenario has happened over and over again with me and lots of people I know. And just as good as their prices is that they are truly a mom and pop operation. They will know you by name, they will ask about your kids and how your parents are doing. Seriously just really great people, great workmanship, amazing prices.
