I went to this shop for a state inspection, and they tried to scam me over a gas cap. They claimed the cap was bad and tried to sell me one for $37, even though I knew there was nothing wrong with it. I previously owned and operated an auto service and sales business for 30 years, and I also had written confirmation from another shop stating the gas cap was fine. They use panic tactics to pressure customers into buying an item that normally costs about $10 for nearly four times the price. I would strongly recommend staying away from this shop and not believing what they tell you.

Went here this morning after hitting a bump in my car last night. Car sounded weird but no lights were on. The two young men working looked at my car and told me that there was two problems. One problem they could fix and the other problem they couldn’t. They did say for the problem they couldn’t fix in their shop, could be looked at across the street. They gave me a referral and were just so helpful, fast and kind. After a really rough morning, I appreciated their willingness to help me.

Very quick in and out in 15 minutes for an inspection. Arrived 30 minutes after opened but I guess the rain deterred other customers from coming in early.

After spending thousands of dollars at the dealership, I brought my truck here to see if they could fix my truck. Torrey is very knowledgeable and explained exactly what was wrong with my truck. He replaced my heater core and got rid of the horrible smell in my truck, something that Rockwall Ford could not do. Thank you Torrey and Kwik Car for everything!! I will be back for all my car needs.

Some places put State Inspections when you arrive on back burner but these people put you in the line you arrive in and get you out quick which lead me to start talking my pickup in for service even though I was still under warranty at the dealership and I continue to take my secondary car there.

I took my car in for a second opinion from the dealership. Kwik Kar staff actually took me out to my car and showed me and explained what was going on. The quote was comparable to the dealership but getting me out there and educating me was a step above and I really appreciated it. They are always kind when I bring my car in for a routine oil change or inspection. Highly recommend!

I always come to Kwik Kar in Wylie for my State Inspections, and I’m never disappointed! The service is incredibly fast – I’m usually in and out in less than 20 minutes, which is a huge plus. The team here is friendly and efficient, and I can tell they care about their work. The facility is also very clean, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend them for anyone needing quick, reliable service! ??

(Updated to add details) My wife and I have used Wylie Kwik Kar for several years now, and continue to be amazed at the level of service. Everyone has been professional and courteous, and have always gone above and beyond to make sure that issues are fixed. On more than one occasion Trey, or the mechanic doing the work, have called to see if we're able to source a part cheaper than them to help keep our costs down. We've had issues with other auto shops in the past, where we ultimately found ourselves feeling taken advantage of (adding additional work/parts to a fix, inability to finish work in the quoted time, etc...), we've never felt pressured to add additional repairs and feel like all of our invoices reflect a fair amount of time. There is not a garage we'd recommend over Wylie Kwik Kar, and will unabashedly recommend them to anyone in the area who needs automotive work.

Had an issue where my car wouldnt start. I thought it was an issue with the alternator , I called Wylie Kwik kar for a quote, They gave me the best price that they could. But the person I spoke to ("Trey") insisted I check that it could be a wiring issue. It was. You see, this is honesty that is lacking in this world especially in the automotive industry. Rather than rush me to take advantage of me. He was honest truthful, and looked out for me as a customer. That is a sign of a decent business. I will continue to go there for future services, and will tell anyone who would listen to go there for car services. Thank you very much.

This place was fantastic! Every year, I bring my motorcycle in, and they inspect it. I forgot to bring cash to tip, and he said that it's okay and to just leave a 5-star review. The guy that helped me had a broken arm, too, and it did not stop him from giving some of the best customer service I have ever received. I will be going here for all of my future inspections. Short version - Long time customer but never returning after they caused damage, refused to admit it, accused my family of causing the damage, and charged an outrageous fee in the end. Full story... I've been bringing our cars here for well over a decade and have never had complaints. Prices did seem high, but I stayed with them because I thought they were trustworthy and provided good service. My son now has training and certification in car repair, so we asked him to do oil changes on 2 of our cars. After he looked under the 1st car, he told me never to go back again because the drain plug was rounded. It could only have happened at Kwik Kar because no one else has changed oil in that car since we've had it (5+ years). He then tried to get it unstuck but couldn't, so I called the shop to ask if there's something they could do. The guy I talked to thought I was saying that my son had rounded the plug, but I informed him that my son had found it in that condition. I was told I could bring it in and they'd see what they could do, and if I brought my oil in, the cost would be $50. I reminded him that they had caused the problem but he said just bring it in and they'd look at it. When I got there, he recognized me (I really have been in there a lot) and said they'd take a look. I told him that the oil, oil filter, and gasket were in the car. After a long wait, he called me to the desk to show me the part and again said something about my son doing it, and again I corrected him. I assumed there might be a small charge at that point but was shocked when I was told that the cost would be $65. I objected but was told that's their regular price for an oil change if you bring your own oil (& filter and gasket?). I explained that I wouldn't have come in if they hadn't messed up the plug, and the only concession offered was a coupon discount of $10. When I told the woman that I thought there would be some goodwill offered for a longtime customer, she basically said oh well and made a point to say that my son's not an expert but they are. (I hadn't mentioned that he's trained and certified and no one asked - he's not a first timer for oil changes, just the 1st time on our cars.) I told her I would pay but wouldn't be coming back, and she said ok. Even with other customers in the waiting area hearing this exchange. My family owns several cars (large family, multiple drivers), and we've been in frequently for inspections and oil changes over the years. But they don't seem to need my business enough to try to ensure that I'd return. Must be nice. Side note: I mentioned my experience to 2 friends that afternoon and didn't know they were customers. They both said they won't be returning now either. If Kwik Kar had tried to make things right, I would have continued to go for inspections and maybe even oil changes when my son wasn't available, and they would have kept the 2 additional customers as well.

Absolute best towing experience I've ever had. Everyone is extremely professional and efficient. I had my car towed within 45min of calling and for a a really good price. Sam, the tow truck driver, was really cool and you could tell he knew what he was doing. I really appreciate the help!

John is amazing! We had great communication while he was en route, to coordinate the pick up time for my vehicle. He is very kind and genuine. He even called me to let me know when my vehicle made it to the shop it was going to. Very honest business man. Definitely recommend using his services.

Car had a flat and John was able to come out and walk me through everything and give the best advice on how to get my car towed. Super friendly and easy going in a time of need. Definitely recommend for any towing or battery needs!

These people are friendly and amazing. After trying to get my car towed by AAA for over 26 hours my patients was on very short supply but John was awesome. He had my car on his truck in less than 2 hours from when I talked to him. John and Trey are complete professionals that earned a customer for life today.

This company is top-notch. You can’t go wrong with them. John and his coworker knew exactly how to take care of my husband’s Chevelle. We will always call them when we need to have a car towed. Fantastic company!

So my husband got stuck in the mud, eatting Whataburger not paying attention.The driver was very kind and funny! ?? In my husbands defense the driver said he was the 8th car he pulled out of the same spot!

John came out promptly and changed a badly damaged tire for us. Then, he helped my son-in-law drive the car (1mile) back to their home. Exceeding kind, caring, and professional. Thank you very much!

After expecting to pay a lot more, I was pleasantly surprised by the fair price they charged to take my Chevy truck nearly 80 miles across the metroplex. The driveway for drop off was a bit tricky with sprinklers on one side and a sharp drop off on the other, but John whipped it in there like it was no big deal. Great communication, fair pricing, would highly recommend.

We were stranded on the side of the road fighting with insurance. Then when we got it settled a random tow truck could not find us bc we could not find a address… It was almost 1 am and John was woken up out of his beauty rest… He was so sweet and came way sooner then he said. I had a car full l of kids after a long day at a water park, trying to drive the two hours home . He gave me his personal number and let me send him a pin to come and rescue us!! My little ones have not stopped talking about how cool he was or his truck. Thank you John for saving us when you did not have to!
