This has got to be the worst place of business
I have been ...They are not customer oriented and very rude...i did not stay and do any business with them an will never go there again...i do pray for them...as they seem to be lost...
The single star review is on account of the location being close in proximity to home. Aside from that factor, there is zero reason to choose to do any business here. The drive to Dallas' Action Recycling or Lake June Scrap is worth it in overall experience. From the low ball rates paid and the strong variance in THEIR weight figures vs those figured before going up there, to the misleading hours of operation (4:15 PM, they shut down... not 4:30 PM), finished off with the attitude and disregard of the owner that trickles into all of the team culture... there's not one element of this business that can be referenced to substantiate it's relevancy. The ill managed, unintegral, and unprofessional operation that this business has thoroughly proven itself to be over YEARS... is astounding. The owner must have connections, familial or otherwise, to not have been shut down already by the town. Nonetheless, it would be wise to incorporate the drive to Dallas when planning to recycle/ scrap any material and spare yourself unnecessary slight... and avoid supporting bad business.
I've been going here over 30 years . these guys always treat me with respect and are courteous..plus they have always given me a great price for whatever I'm scrapping 🤠
Not even one star this place was so rude unhelpful uncaring just really unfriendly and I can't believe how they turned us away really the guy that came out didn't give us a chance. What's wrong with scraping cat doors that were given to us not by a body shop either. I don't recommend this place for good business
Been taking our scrap from out company the past few years always great service from unloading to separation.. we plan to continue to use them for years to come

We use them for all of our scrap on an almost weekly basis. Awesome staff and extremely competitive pricing. Obviously pricing is going to vary based on price of scrap but, you can ask and they will let you know what the market is doing.
I went there three times. First time for half a van of steel they gave me 20 bucks so I thought they were great people. Next time I loaded my van all the way full thinking I might get 40+ but when they pay me they only gave me 17 bucks. So it didn't make sense, they rob me. I gave them another chance the third one and took only have a van again and they gave me 6 bucks. This people are crooks and don't show you how much your stuff weighs. So I found another place they are call wise choice recycle in Forney and this people show you the weight and they are nice. Check them out. Stay away from Terrell iron and metal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only reason they even get a star is because tye isnt an option for 0 stars this place will rob you and hide your weight. Lake june scrap yard is recommended by me
