Drivers - If picking up from here, call ahead and ask if your required to have additional equipment before loading. You need a harness apparently to load a boom lift (makes sense from a safety standpoint, but this is the ONLY Ritchie Bros I've picked up from that has that requirement)
On Monday, January 19th, I was at this place and received terrible treatment from two of the four employees who were working at the front. I needed help unloading a forklift, and when I asked for gas to start it, the young man and the woman behaved very rudely and even made faces. They were on their cell phones the whole time, ignoring all the questions I needed to ask. The woman at the reception desk was very rude and aggressive, and the young man pretended to be clueless to avoid answering. They are essentially getting paid for doing nothing, and the company should fire them all. The older gentleman in the back, in what appeared to be a workshop, was very kind and helpful, using his experience to solve the forklift's starting problem. Those types of people who were at the front desk shouldn't be working there.
The auction was set up nicely. However, when we were bidding on line the pictures were not clear in terms of what you were exactly bidding on. I had the opportunity to ask and the man and he told me. We paid and went to pick it up and another employee said it was only have of what I thought I paid for. They did offer to cancel the sale but we wanted what we purchased. The other buyer was there and ended up with half of our purchase. ? We will not be recommending this company!! Make sure you know exactly what you are bidding on. Pictures are NOT clear!
The truck has many more miles than what was stated and was in really poor shape and looked like it had been on fire and their wasn't any pictures of that. Very disappointed.
the worst company in America in terms of service, a complete lack of service on site, the main thing for employees in the office is to get through another day and that's it, I stood for three hours while loading equipment waiting for help to load equipment...
I did business with them awhile back and purchased some equipment from the auction, they were very quick and their Loader Mason was top notch. He was very good about loading it fast, efficiently and safely so shout out to him. When I purchase my next bit of equipment from them Mason will be the only loader I request.
Terrible customer service today Dec-19 at 09:50 the lady at the place who serves the drivers treats them horribly. I called to report a load and she told me to shut up, very disrespectful, as if we were looking for something for free, if it weren't for the customers they wouldn't even have a job.
The people that work at this location are fantastic! I was in a bind picking up my equipment and they went out of their way to help me out. The ladies in the office ABSOLUTELY ROCK! They probably should be paid more!! Their lead yard man was awesome as well. My equipment was as described and there wasn't any hidden fees. I would certainly buy from them in the future.
WARNING…this auction is a rip off better off selling your equipment yourself….. trusted them with my 2022 flatbed trailer that I paid 22 thousand for …… they auction it off for 10 thousand trust and believe I will never deal with them again!!!!
Excellent place to purchase new and used equipment and vehicles. Website says it’s open until 5 but in order to pick up purchases you must be here before 4 pm.
Huge issue with machine purchased at auction (site-unseen). Nothing disclosed in auction description about bad DPF and metal in oil, engine was bad. Don't rely on anything in descriptions and auction company has no recourse in what they sell and will not back anything due to their "terms and agreements" of the auction.
Did not have the item did I bought through the auction, come to find out it was iron planets fault they had sold the item twice, Ritchie Brothers did not know where to turn, hence a four-star instead of 5
Great group of people here. I always enjoy my time when I stop by and haggle with these two old coots. They have always resolved any issues that I have ever had. Fair and honest is all I can say about this bunch of fine Americans.
