Worst possible customer service, rude and unprofessional. And don’t even try calling because all they will do is leave you on hold. Please go somewhere else, save yourself the trouble

My Streamlight Macro stream stopped charging, wanted to see if a new battery would fix it or if I needed a replacement. Asked if the had it in stock “we did, but looks like we’re out” so do you have the battery then? “We did but looks like we’re out, you can get it on Amazon” Thanks for the help?

Great people, pricing, and service. I went in for a car battery exchange and the entire process took less than 30 minutes. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and will come back in the future for other battery related needs.

Bought two motorcycle batteries from them 2 months ago, both stored in the same garage. When I went to use them one worked and one didn't. Charged it, same thing. Brought it back to them and they said there was nothing they could do after 90 days. I try to support local but they lost my business after over 10 years.

I brought my car up there last week 2015 Chevy impala. Daniel checked my battery and alternator and said both was testing good!!! I will recommend this place to my family and friends. I am a business owner bought two new batteries back in September last year took my batteries battery specialist I'm from Gray Court a used to change them out right then and there not no more now you got to wait 24 hours I bought batteries for my dump truck batteries for a JLG lift for my cars for my pick up skid steer now I have to drive another hour to pick them up tomorrow not no more I will never do business with I've been doing business with them over 10 years if I don't know my what they did I would have bought them someplace else from now on I will

Beware, business is Not open on Saturday. Drove from out of town only to find the store closed. Hours on Google and their answering machine says they are open. Saturday 8:00am 12:00pm. I arrived at 9:10am. Only sign displayed in window said they would be closed January 26th and 27th for inventory. Today is February 4th. Also, no hours posted outside the business. They need to update hours on Google and their answering machine to reflect hours they are open for business.

Very nice and courteous. The prices were cheaper than other places. A $5.00 install charge was extremely reasonable. Hardly any wait time as my transaction and install took less than 30 minutes! A big thank you to Hawkins Towing for the recommendation!

Ladies always check behind the work that is done on your car. Today I went to this place that I have patronized for many years. I have never had any issues until today. My battery was replaced by Joshua. We spoke about the pricing of the batteries which he quoted at $105 (2 years ) & $115 (30 months) ac delco battery. I told Joshua I wanted the 30 month battery. He took my money and gave me the cheapest battery. Thank God I checked behind him to which he was visibly upset and begin slamming another battery into vehicle. He was very short and curt with me afterwards when I asked him to update my receipt to reflect the appropriate. I have been a customer of this company for over 5years. I have never had an experience such as this one. To be taken advantage of in this way is disheartening.

Great prices and service and more importantly warranties! Both auto parts stores and wally world sell motorcycle batteries, but only offer a 30 day warranty. These guys give you a one year warranty, although all 8 or 9 I've purchased over the years have lasted much longer than that, except for one, which they promptly swapped out for a new one. I think lawnmower batteries might have the same warranty.

Really great, straightforward, & honest people running an excellent business. I was recommended this place on one of the Neighborhood apps and I have to echo the same sentiments of the folks who suggested this business: they have integrity and it is highly economical. Don’t go anywhere else but here for your battery needs.

They install my battery for me. Very nice people. I drive from Easley to go there. The same battery cost 40 to 50 dollars more if I go to the auto retail stores here. It's worth the trip for sure.

My fiance referred me here and I'm very impressed by the prices, quality, and quick service. Half the price from retailers with a 5 year warranty! You can't beat that. Thanks to Johnny for the quick and friendly service. Will recommend others!

On 10/30/20 I dropped off 2 craftsmen 13.2 volt batteries to be rebuilt as the price quoted to me was reasonable . When I asked how long it would take to have them completed I was told "there's one rebuild ahead of you so it's possible they'll be finished this afternoon but if not Monday or Tuesday , We'll call you." After leaving the batteries and not hearing from them for 6 days I made a trip there hoping to pick them up. I thought possibly I had missed their call. The counter man looked at my claim ticket and checked for the batteries. "let me make sure they're completed " He returned to the counter and told me the rebuild guy said it would be next week. "10 days to 2 weeks to rebuild 2 batteries.? I asked for them back and left. I've been a steady customer there for over 10 years. Their service has definitely deteriorated. I may go back, but these batteries will be rebuilt somewhere else.

If picking up or Delivering here its best to turn left down CherryDale drive and back into dock on the side of the building. Do not past the building.

I had a difficult to find battery which needed replacement. Upon arrival the staff was super friendly and the general manager was very knowledgeable and educated me on batteries. When all the other parts stores and Batteries Plus tell you to “try Battery Specialists, they have everything”, you listen. This is a great local business. Support the little guys!

Whenever I know I need a new battery, I roll-start my car and drive it straight to Battery Specialist. They've always had one in stock for my cars (diesel and gas) at a competitive price. Their tech pulls and properly disposes of the old one, installs the new one, and I'm going down the road again in 20 minutes. I don't pay extra for warranty promises so their 'black'-brand choice has always been a good value for me.

These guys are great - always helpful and respectful of their customers. I recently visited and was pleased to see that they are also showing responsibility to their customers by having designated lines where customers can stand 6 feet apart and by providing a plexiglas shield between the customer and the assistant to assure protection during this Covid pandemic. Thank you.

2017 CRV, Honda put an inadequate battery in at the factory and my 2 year old car had to have a new battery. We called to make sure they had a battery and got my car started and drove over. I refused to turn it off because I knew it wouldn't start. My husband went in and within 5 min a wonderful gentleman that worked there was asking me to pop the hood so he could replace the battery. These people are usually really busy and we went prepared to wait. But we were in and out of there in less than 15 mins. Not what I wanted for Christmas (we were there on Christmas Eve Eve), but I couldn't ask for better service or price! Grateful the bigger, better battery was less than I expected!

Great local place to get batteries for anything that requires them. I had them replace a battery in my truck in the parking lot. They offered wise advice, and I bought a battery cheaper that had a better warranty than the big box or auto parts store.

I had just left infusions and was exhausted and had to get a jump for the second time that day and so I drove to Battery Specialists and called when I pulled up explaining that I didn't want to turn my car off and had purchased a battery recently from them. They said, turn it off and come on in, we'll get you going again, and within 10 minutes I was ready to go again, no charge. I can't remember his name but he grabbed a charge kit and some tools and came out and tightens up my posts. Very nice and quick service. I'll return again and again and tell everyone to go there!

Great employées but they are not keeping up on restocking. They seem to be out of stock each time I go get a new battery. I have six vehicles and a lot of equipment and it is a real time killer. This never happened under the old management. I would call ahead or you will be rolling the dice.

I was told this company would buy a used car battery core for approximately $8-10 and they did. Easy. Has to go to Gvl County Sheriff's office to get a permit. No cost to me the 1st copy. If I should lose my copy I would be charged a fee. Permit allows you take salvageable items to reclaimer good place for recycling

I really appreciate the great service they provided me for a car battery that died. I was there at opening and within 15 minutes the new battery was installed and they verified the alternator was working fine. And the cost was probably a third less than other places. Thanks so much!

This place will literally rip you off. They let you pay cash for items without putting a name on it. Then they can hold a receipt over your head, and tell you basically if you don't have a piece of paper they are going to keep your money. This is completely unethical business practice. I would never use this business again.

I purchased a new battery for my vehicle at Battery Specialist for a great price, with free installation! Craig (associate) was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. I was so pleased with the service I received during my transaction, that I would gladly recommend this place to my friends & family.
