Jeff, Charles, and their team were amazing to work with. Very professional, very efficient, and very understanding. A one-day repair for my bumper cover was completed in less than 3.5 hours. Great job matching the paint color. My Honda Fit is better than restored. Highly recommend them for any repair.

I took my car here after a small wreck that left our door unable to open. Charles and his team quickly fixed it and got the door open! He quickly fixed an old dent from years ago and even brightened my headlights which I didn’t realize were so dim- without me even asking! His team was kind, joyful, and they clearly enjoy their job. I can’t recommend this place enough!!!

I am very disappointed with Fender Mender’s customer service this morning. We have used them in the past to repair our minivan, which was insurance work and they did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. However, when I took my truck in for a quote to have the front bumper replaced, this is how my conversation with the gentleman at the front desk went. Me “Can I get a quote on replacing this front bumper?” Gentleman “Do you want the brackets replaced?” Me “I just need the bumper replaced.” Gentleman “No we do not do work for people like you, that is like asking me to build you a house without a foundation.” Me “Oh, well I don’t know what it entails to do a job like that so whatever you have to do please quote that.” Gentleman “Nope, we don’t do work for people like you you’ll have to go somewhere else. Have a good day, good bye.” I was left speechless. Nothing he did was illegal, they are a business that is totally allowed to deny work if they want to. I don’t know the first thing about repairing vehicles, but I am a business owner and I know that as a professional in a trade sometimes we need to educate the client on what needs to be done, or if a job has a bigger scope then the client had originally intended. Instead I left Fender Mender feeling like I was the bad guy, and somehow asking them to do something shady when I just wanted a quote to fix my bumper. I assumed a business called “Fender Mender” would be able to mend my fender, but I am still unsure of why they are incapable of doing this job. Hopefully this review can prepare future clients to set an expectation of customer service being low, although I’m sure they do great work. I’m also hoping this review can help Fender Mender improve on its client experience side. Or maybe he was just having a really bad morning and I caught him at a bad time, and this may be a one off situation. It does look like they have a lot of really good reviews, so that may be the case.

We had a small dent in the rear right quarter panel of our Chevy suburban. Jeff Ryback came out and took a look at it and took it into the shop. He brought the vehicle back about 10 minutes later, completely repaired. We asked what we owed him and he said nothing. We were flabbergasted but extremely grateful. If you go there you will see on the walls how many letters and notes they have received about their excellent service and this is just one more example. We took him a bunch of assorted brownies the following week to thank him and he was extremely surprised and grateful, too. I can't say enough about how I would recommend this shop. It is the epitome of excellent service that you rarely see anymore. Thank you Jeff and Fender Menders!

I was having a pretty tough time when one week in to moving to Greenville I had someone hit my car up in the mountains of NC leaving it unable to be driven. I had to simply just pick a place based off of google and hope for the best. WOW did i pick well! Jeff and his entire team have been absolutely amazing through this process. Great at communication with both myself and the insurance company which saved me many a headaches! There is nowhere else I will ever consider taking my car if it is damaged again. I brought my SUV to Fender Mender on recommendation from a neighbor…I had a sizable scrape of the front of my vehicle…not only did Chris take care of the issue within 10 minutes, he did a terrific job and was very professional…I couldn’t recommend the team more highly.

Shockingly great service - I had a scrape on my bumper from a parking lot accident. I took my car to another body shop, and they told me they HAD to replace my whole bumper. I knew there had to be a simpler way to make this repair, especially since I was paying out of pocket, so I visited Fender Mender to get a second opinion. The owner of the shop met me when I arrived, took a look at my car, and offered to attempt to buff out the scrape (with no guarantee that it would work, but it was worth a shot, right?). Within 5 minutes, the scrape was nearly imperceptible. Grateful for Fender Mender - they saved me $2000.

I had a fender accident on Sunday.. I went to see these guys the next day and got a free estimate of my damage.. which wasn't going to cost near as much as I anticipated.. since I was paying out of pocket because it wasn't worth turning into my insurance.. anyway I took my car in the next day and they had it fixed within 4 hours.. didn't even look like it had been smashed! Plus they put on a part they already had they didn't charge me for! They were so kind and helpful.. Charles and the other front desk gentlemen is awesome . I highly recommend this place to everyone.. they truly showed me good Christian values.. I'm a retired lady and they really looked out for me.

I had the best experience here! I had a couple of issues with my bumper and Jeff took care of it completely for free. He did a great job and was so kind! This will be the first place i go if anything happens to my car. It’s rare nowadays to find businesses that truly care about their customers but this one definitely does!

I found this business here on Google and was impressed with the reviews. I was embarrassed to explain I needed to have a tail light replaced due to a parked hit and run. Charles was patient with me and walked me through with the suggestion of purchasing the part on Amazon. He explained to come by any time for him or Jeff to install. I stopped by this afternoon, July 21, 2025, and Jeff immediately got to work. My only disappointment was the work was done so quickly that I didn't finish the chapter in the book I brought along! Nobody likes having to get their car repaired. It can be a hassle. There can be frustration and trepidation in putting in the work to get an estimate, not knowing who to trust. As a person who has had more than my share of car damage, I have dealt with plenty of body shops. It is no understatement that the treatment I received by Jeff at Fender Mender was absolutely extraordinary in the best possible way. From the time that I was greeted, Jeff took time with me to make sure I felt welcome and at home. He explained the options for my car repair extremely thoroughly. He even provided me with questions and considerations should I go somewhere else. He graciously offered to speak to the folks who were responsible for the damage to explain the costs and the “why” behind what he was doing. He understands that the investment that we made in our vehicle was a sacrifice and one that we did not want a bad patch/paint job to mar our enjoyment and daily reminder of the accident. Every step of the way he was communicative and clear…from proactively calling me first thing Monday morning to let me know that our overnight drop off went well…all the way to delivering the car two days earlier than what was expected. I would have no reservations on sending my wife/children here to get service. Regardless of your comfort with auto-body repairs, Jeff takes the time to make you feel welcome and explains his process excellently. I am grateful for the recommendations I received to go to Fender Mender and I hope to never need auto body work again…. but in the likely chance I do, Jeff will be my first call. When I called Fender Mender to find out if they could perform my repair, Charles expressed concern about their ability to provide a quality outcome since what I needed didn't exactly fit their business model. He relented when I explained I wasn't seeking perfection with this repair on my 20 year old car. The result was great, and the service was fast. I appreciated the professionalism, honesty and straightforwardness and the overall helpful approach. I recommend them and wish I had known about them sooner.

As soon as I walked in, I knew Fender Mender was the place for me. Jeff greeted me and made me feel very welcomed! I have been riding around with my door not closing all the way for months. Took it in after work and Jeff was very informative and gave me my options. He took it to the guys in the shop and not even 5 minutes later, I had my car back and it was like nothing was ever wrong. I definitely recommend them for you vehicle needs.

I can't even begin to express how INCREDIBLE this repair shop is - over the past few months, Charles and Jeff have both gone out of the way to help me however they could. Top-notch service and friendliness - they have those qualities in spades! When my car was t-boned back in January, they walked me through the entire process of getting it fixed and how long I could expect to wait. Charles answered every question I had in-depth, such as exactly what parts needed replacing and why. When I got my car back and noticed some engine troubles that I assumed had to be related to getting t-boned, Charles told me to swing on by whenever I could. He had me take pictures of their engine code reader's scan and explained to me what his thoughts were on the cause (ended up being TSB SB-10058136-4434). Lastly, 2 whole months went by and I finally realized my door that had been replaced didn't have any sunshade clips attached to the top frame. Charles immediately hopped on it, and told me to swing on by whenever I could so that he could take a look. Even though these clips not being there was NO fault of their own (Charles showed me the correct door being ordered on their system), they starting trying to resolve it as if it was. Jeff ended up being able to punch out the clip holes in the correct spots after measuring a billion times (attention to detail!), but they were fully prepared to comp me the correct door purchase and installation if Jeff wasn't able to spot-fix it. If I or anyone I know ever needs repair work done on their car in the future, I'm gonna make sure it gets done at Fender Mender.

If you're looking for high quality work, attention to detail, friendly service and communication look no further. Our nearly new Toyota Tacoma was in a rollover accident and required extensive repairs, I can't express enough how impressed we are with the job Fender Mender did in making it look new again. I have an extensive background in the auto industry and I can tell you nobody could have done a better job. The paint is perfect, the gaps are perfect and there is no overspray or any visible signs that the truck has had any work done, it all looks 100% factory again. Charles and Jeff were very helpful, friendly, handled all the insurance communications and kept us up to date about parts availability, timeline and progress and finished the job sooner than we had anticipated. We couldn't be happier and while we hope to never "need" their services again, if we ever need bodywork again, it will be Fender Mender of Greenville.

The front right fender of my car had been warped so the passenger door was unable to be opened, I went to another auto body shop and they said they wouldn't be able to fix it without paying a lot. When I arrived at Fender Mender I was greeted and helped promptly, Jeff efficiently helped me by offering to fix it enough to open the door before getting me the quote I requested. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw he had even cleaned it up. Jeff had a lot of good knowledge and advice for me about how best to proceed and fix the car but let me make my own final decision on what to do. When I offered to pay for the quick fix he politely declined and instead told me how he really loves what he does and loves serving his customers. I think this is quite evident in his friendliness, honesty, good workmanship, and quick service.

We went in looking just to get the car “useable” and legal to drive after it had a rear/side collision. We got a rough estimate and took a couple months to save up to get the work done. Jeff was super helpful and told me my options, and even had me pull around and took the time to help me remove a hanging part that was dangerous to drive with, and helped me release the trunk which was stuck shut, free of charge. Upon going back they did a free estimate on the spot as soon as I walked in, called around for parts while I stood there and found them. They wanted to make sure to get me the best deal so they called multiple places to make sure of pricing. The actual quote on paper was a few hundred dollars cheaper than the initial glance over. They said they would have it about a week and would call when it was painted and ready. I told them the car was a beater and honestly I wasn’t concerned with looks, I just wanted it safe, together, legal and weather proof again. They said if I didn’t want to paint it I would save a lot of money, and it reduced it a good amount. That relieved a lot of the stress I was feeling on my end since it’s just a car for commute to work. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. They gave me a date to drop the car off for the next week. I dropped it off at about 9:30 that morning, and Charles remembered me as soon as I walked in the door. He yelled up front that I was dropping off the Saturn and just getting parts put on. I received a text and a call from them around 3:40 while I was at work, gave them a quick text back saying I was at work and would be off all day the next day. Called them and they had finished all the work same day and the total was $250 less than the estimate. They got a deal for buying all the parts from one supplier, so they said they passed the savings on. We went to pick up the car and it looks flush and solid. Trunk works perfectly again. They assured me that they straightened and realigned the frame and reinforced it where it needed to be, and did a coating to prevent any weather from damaging it on the underside/actual interior metal they worked on. Any time I have an issue they will be where I go, and the first place I recommend to anyone with body damage. We took the car out after to go shopping and it’s perfect besides the paint job I requested not to have done since I plan on painting the entire car at a later date. If you need to manage your finances and just get back on the road, or if you need it to look brand new again, these guys have you covered it seems.
