Not satisfied at all - lack of communication. Do not feel like I got back my vehicle properly repaired and they did not do the work completely. Took a month on a repair - had small damage from hitting a deer - vehicle shut down and wouldn’t move - they said they fixed it but it shut down again after driving for two hours. They then turned around and claimed it was pre-existing and did not fix it. Now I’m stuck with a vehicle that may look pretty on the outside but is not moving because Joe Hudson did not do right.

There is no issue with the repair. This company’s short coming is the lack of accurate communication. I dropped my car off on 6-11-25 with an estimated pick up date of 6-20-25. I was in the area on the morning of the 20th, so I stopped to see if it would be ready. I was told it wouldn’t be ready. 30 minutes later I received a text that said it was done. This text was wrong. I didn’t hear another word until I picked the car on the 30th. The lady I spoke with at the front was friendly but really couldn’t help. The male I spoke with on the 20th, was less than helpful since he was “on lunch”

The hours are from 8-5pm Mon - Fri. I arrive at 4:15 and ask for a free estimate. No one was else there waiting. I was told he doesn't have time to do it today. When it was ABW Collision the service was better. STAY Away!!!

My truck was damaged by Hurricane Helene on September 27, 2024. I contacted Joe Hudson Collision Center in Florence, SC and an appointment was made for October 30th when they said they would be able to begin work on it. I took advantage of my 30 day rental car on this same date. Mid-way through November I was told my truck would be ready the following week. That week I was told it would be ready the following week. Repairs that were estimated to take 4 weeks remained unfinished on November 27th and with Thanksgiving being the following day and the day my rental car lease ended, I returned my rental car. I was assured my truck would be ready the following week. That week I followed up only to hear that it would not be ready until the following week. I picked up my truck on December 13th. At that time it was noted that a part replaced was warped. My insurance company approved its replacement when contacted by Joe Hudson. Each week I continued to follow up to see if the part had arrived. During this time two parts in the interior, which had been reinstalled though broken, came to light. At their request I brought the parts in so they could make certain they ordered the correct parts. I was now following up weekly with Joe Hudson to see if the parts had arrived. I drove to Joe Hudson the last week of February to get an update, 7 weeks having passed since picking up my truck. At this time I met Marty, the new manager, who assured me they would get the parts ordered. On February 8th, when lifting the hood of my truck to check fluids, I became aware of a broken headlight that they had failed to replace. Also, it became apparent that the cap on the truck bed was leaking, a cap that had not leaked before, during or after Hurricane Helene. I contacted my insurance company now lacking confidence in Joe Hudson's workmanship and ability to get the job completed. The adjuster got involved but things began to go downhill under Joe Hudson's new manager. I set up an appointment for February 26th. At this time Marty laughingly had gotten me a rental car saying I would not make it home by the time they were done with the work. The work he was speaking of was the two interior parts needing to be snapped in place and the headlight. I had clearly expressed to him I would be pleased to wait at the local Burger King while the remaining work was completed. The work that would have warranted a rental car was the leaky cap, and maybe the installment of the warped part, both of which he acted surprised to hear about. His response to the leaking cap was to send pictures to the adjuster suggesting I was lying and that an attempt had obviously been made in the past to fix it. At this point I stopped interacting with Marty. On March 27th I took my truck to Joe Hudson for the last time getting the warped part replaced. I also contacted Joe Hudson headquarters in Alabama and spoke with their regional manager, Keith Harrison, who listened to my experience and assured me he would follow up. I cannot in good conscience recommend Joe Hudson Collision in Florence, SC. It took 21 weeks for them to complete 4 weeks of work and I was still left with one the interior parts needing to be installed properly and a zip tie securing an exterior part to keep it from falling off. In addition, I took my truck to a local seller and installer of truck caps and have contacted the company in Vermont where I purchased my cap, as to how to hopefully remedy the leaks.

I had my friends car done here when she hit a concrete block in shopping center. They were very nice and the job was done professionally. Thanks to my friend Edward who did the paint job. Awesome job my friend!

Dropped my car off 01/21/25, they only had to replace the side bottom rail of the Altima. I didnt get my car back until 03/17/25. It was an estimated 1 month repair at drop off. Didnt think it would be an additional month. The repair work looks good no complaint there. However, the financial part is my complaint. Joe Hudson rep (Marty/Martin) had agreed with my Insurance company that they would cover my rental car expense after I had maxed out my days thru my insurance. My insurance rep spoke to Joe Hudson rep twice about this. Once I returned the rental car to Enterprise I spoke with their Manager who claimed that I would not be charged and they will work with Joe Hudson. Well, come to find out Joe Hudson and Enterprise was NOT on one accord. By 03/22/25 I was charged over $300 by Enterprise. This is when Enterprise claimed they had no information form Joe Hudson to cover the expenses. I went through back and forth process for 3 business days for Joe Hudson to get the correct info to Enterprise, so they could reverse the charges. I would recommend the shop for repair, however, they fell SHORT on making sure expenses with Enterprise was taken care of when it was decided on 03/10/25 that they would take over the charges, so they had a whole week to provide correct payment info to Enterprise because the rental was not returned until 03/17/25. This is why I give this experience a 2.5/5

This company fixed my car after I got in a car accident. They did an amazing job on my car and it looks brand new. Also, I got my car back earlier than expected. Highly recommend.

My car arrived at the shop 10/10/24 I did not receive my car back until 12/3/24. Every time I was given a date when my car would be ready it wasn’t. The trunk and seat belts were the only repairs do to a hit from behind accident. I was told by the manager Jeff they would help on reimbursement of the car rental I had for the obsessive amount of time they had my vehicle. I never received anything! No communication since. I left a voicemail with Jeff he hasn’t responded. HORRIBLE experience! Never again would I take my car here.

Originally I was asked to bring the vehicle by for them access the damage. In order to prevent from driving with busted windows in the cold and instead of them having me to bring the vehicle back at a later date, they offered to keep it and bumped up the repair and returned it to me the following week. Very satisfied with the service received.

Not recommend this place. I'm sorry!The man that took my car and the man brought my car back to me were very nice. They had my car for two weeks. Used my gas trashed my car need I say more. I read the reviews thought this place was a good place. Some one hit me. It's been a head ache since.

my windshield was broken, and Glass was left everywhere inside the car. My granddaughter got cut getting into the backseat, and after looking again glass was all over the car, including the driver, passenger and backseat of the vehicle had to be completely vacuumed out, and they listed on their invoice that they had cleaned the glass out of the car.

I don't know what I could say about Joe Hudson's collision they kept you up to date from the time they got your vehicle until the time they got it done from prep every step of the way they kept in touch with you. If you can give more than five stars I would if I have any issues with any of my vehicles they will go to Hudson's collision I recommend them 100%

Highly recommend! My son was on an accident on our move up here. Although it felt like it took a while to get his car back, the damage more involved than we originally thought. They were very communicative with our son as his vehicle was fixed. His car looks and drive like it’s brand new now.

Ms. Sasha was very pleasant to work with. She was very knowledgeable and kept me updated daily about the process of my dad’s repair process. When I had an issue with the insurance adjuster, Ms. Sasha took care of everything for me. Excellent customer service!

My problem was not with the quality of the repair, but with the lack of communication and unprofessionalism. The job being promised completion in 7 days and actually taking 18 days!! The automated text alert system kept telling me the job was on time and nearing completion and the info was not correct and very misleading. On the day the repair was to be complete 3-7-24, I never received a call to tell me that the car was not done. I called Sasha to inquire and she constantly tried to over talk me and was very unprofessional like this was some fault of mine. When I requested to speak with the manager Mike, I find out that parts were ordered 3-8-24, the day after I called...the original completion date was 3-7-24!! This drug on and I eventually got my vehicle back on 3-18-24. If you decide to use this place..take my advice and insist on a firm completion date in writing before leaving them your vehicle!! *Original appraisal was around $1800.00 *This amount ballooned to over$6000.00 once they were given the ok to repair vehicle. And this was a minor bump on front end with no frame damages!! This was a repair that included 2 headlights,a grille, and a repaired front bumper cover, not even a replacement!!

This is absolutely the slowest place on earth if you want to fix your car! It has been 2.5 months and everytime I call they say it's still being fixed. I can't imagine people who had worse cars fixed. Oh well, were short staff. Yet 3 weeks ago they text messaged to say the car was in painting...and comes to turn out it didn't even go to paint until 3 weeks after. Oh well, we most of got the cars and text messages mixed up. As a business owner, no you just straight up lied! If you want your car fixed, run as fast as you can away from this place! BTW if you want to know before you ask what you can do better...A) Don't take on more than your shop can handle. B) Hire more people C) This is the most important BE HONEST

After a fender bender, Joe Hudson's performed a great repair, making the car look like new. Granted, it took a few weeks, but that's understandable with the supply chain issues and the fact that they are the best in town, so they have a large backlog. Would highly recommend.

I just picked up my truck. Someone hit the passenger side front. The damage was ugly and the vehicle was not able to be driven away. Thanks to the team at Joe Hudson, the truck is back on the road. Almost, like new. After a vehicle is in a wreck, it will never be new, but they sure did their best. Hopefully, I’ll never need them again, but if I do….. Right now, I’ll just recommend them to others.

I got hit by somebody and took my car here to get fixed. Insurance covered everything and I paid nothing out of pocket. They did so well on my car its like it was never even hit! I highly recommend this place. They were very nice and informative during the process as well. Everything went smoothly. Thank y’all so much again!

My vehicle has been in this shop for 6 weeks, be prepared to wait on this team if you use them. They are very slow but its worth it if they fix it right. They tried once to return my vehicle but i spotted several things the shop did not fix so I had to give it back even though i needed my vehicle. I'll come back and give them a higher score if my vehicle is fixed properly and I'm not missing tools or speakers when I get it back. I'm hoping for the best but we'll see..Its been 6 weeks, I hope I can comeback next week with good news.. Well today I got my truck back. From August 2 to Sept 26 Joe Hudson had my truck. The horn still doesn't work. The sensors in the tire don't work. My speakers were still in the truck so that's good. I wouldn't recommend this shop. Way too slow and not very good at completing the job. I hate to be so critical of this shop but man.... there's alotof room for improvement over there. .

I picked up my car today and was impressed with the job they did on my car. It took a little longer than what I had expected but it was well worth the wait for the quality of workmanship. I highly recommend this shop if you are looking for quality and polite service. The receptionist, Brittany is awesome at providing answers to all your questions.

I have used Auto Body Works for the repairs on my car from an accident involving a log truck running into the rear passenger side of it. Auto Body Works was very attentive and professional and best of all, they guarantee their work! The only reason I'm not rating them as a 5 is bc I did have to go back for them to exchange the tail light they installed bc it was for a base model and not the sport model which should have been an LED light. And they hadn't connected a wire for my 3rd break light so it wasn't working. And I had a couple of unsatisfied spots in the paint I wanted corrected but it was minor. HOWEVER, they were very quick & eager to correct every issue I had, & even paid for a rental while they did so. I didn't really need the rental as I had another car I could've driven, but they insisted that I let them do so. I was very pleased over all. I was just in another accident where I was rear ended in I-20 and I don't trust anyone else but Auto Body Works for my repairs. So they will be fixing this car for me as well. They really are wonderful people & they do their absolute best to make sure everything is perfect, even if it takes a 2nd go. I would highly recommend them for all of your auto body repairs .

Brought them my 2012 Camaro SS that my sons basketball hoop fell on. This car means the world to me as it was the last thing my father gave me before he passed away. I was almost in tears when it happened. I brought it to them and they made it like it never happened. the work is flawless. Will never take my cars anywhere else ever. They totally understood the situation and went above and beyond to make my car whole again. From the bottom of my heart I thank all the staff at abw for doing an incredible job.
