The employee’s were wonderful. They had the tire we needed in stock and with a few minutes after explaining our situation they were working on our vehicle. The time was not long at all. The price was what we were told when walked in. I will definitely be going back tires.

This place is a joke. My neighbor drove his truck up there for diagnosis. They told him he needed a new starter. They installed a new starter, and the truck still wouldn't start. He was charged for a starter that he didn't need, then they told him that the engine was locked up. I checked the truck out, and the A/C compressor was locked up. Not the engine. Bypassed the A/C compressor with a shorter belt and the truck runs like new.
I was very happy with the service, kindness, and courtesy I received while getting my tires replaced. They explained everything they did be and made sure I understood everything they were doing and the costs.
My experience was exceptional. The staff was very prompt and timely on my service. I could not be more pleased with the service from Blacks Tire . Have been a customer for many years and have not been disappointed.
I stopped in while they looked to be pretty busy, and they managed to get me taken care of! I didn't catch his name, but the man at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. He looked at my car to make sure that the tires I had seen would actually work and genuinely listened to me! He was very respectful and didn't try to upsell me on anything. I would definitely recommend this place to other young women!
Wonderfully experienced of dealing with the guys at the Florence SC shop. I had a tyre emergency and got new tires installed at a reasonable price, they guys were professional and fast. I highly recommend them.
Blacks on Irby st goes above and beyond I will recommend blacks to anyone who is in need of tires. My son had a flat tire early in the am so I was able to limp it to blacks where I was greeted with understanding and the guy made it quick and easy. Brand new tire and installation with warranty 147 out the door. The wait time was very short and they even had a cute charge made with a car battery because in my haste out the door I forgot my charger. Thanks blacks this wasn’t my first visit and I will be back for all my tire needs.
Black's Tires is the place to go if you want your oil changed in your car. They not only changed the oil, but totated the tires on my car. The wait was reasonable for my work day.
I had a question about the interior of my car. The passenger side door handle is broken and I asked their counsel for repair or a replacement part. They found the part and gave several options to choose.

I had a nail in my tire & the good folks at Black’s Tire on Irby Street had it repaired in less than an hour. I will use them again for any future tire needs.
This is the second time I’ve been to Black TIRES Florence, South Carolina and have run into bad service myself. First time I would say accident second time I would say just trying to teach me out of money overall with this same vehicle it is 3×1st time. This is my daughter‘s car she took it. I told her how to stand outside and watch when they service her car and they said that they rotated her tires and she told them they didn’t. She called me. I went up there and talked with them. They said they did. I asked my daughter. Did she do what I’ve always told her to do. She said she did. She put two dots on the front tires as I’ve always told her the head man let us go in and look and the two dots were still on the front tires they had not been rotated. I asked the manager to rotate them because the two dots were still on the front tires. I told my daughter-in-law just because she was a lady that people would take advantage of them at a service station. Second time I took the vehicle up there they changed the oil they did not put the rubber seal back down on the oil filter like it should have. I drove off with it smell oil came back. It dropped 3 quarts of oil in a mile and a half by the time I brought it back that could’ve called him a engine if I hadn’t took it up there and smelt the oil third time I took it up there because my daughter had passed away for my son-in-law stood outside. Watch them change the oil service my daughter car for my son-in-law they charge me for gas treatment and did not check the air in the tires as I had requested but the service guy said he did. I’m standing out there watching him the whole time and he told the service manager that he checked the air in the tires, not a big thing, but if I did not stand outside and watch them, they would’ve charged me for gas treatment, which was $11 and something and they still didn’t check their tires which is fine. I know how to do that This is the last time I’m going up there if they cheat in a man what in the world, you think they doing to a woman and I’m standing there outside watching them the whole time. Beware they will teach you. I’m standing there watching them. Poor service bad service be aware.
The guys at the S Irby St store in Florence, SC got me back on the road in less than an hour from arrival time, actually probably quicker than that.
They fixed my tire that had a nail and they also checked the other 3 tires to make sure they didn't have anything wrong and made sure that my tire pressures were topped off and had me road ready again. Hands down great overall experience at that particular store.
I'm not sure if the other Black's Tire locations have the quality of employees and service as this particular location does, I am thankful for honest businesses and quality service and employees.
The folks at Black’s always do a great job. I really depend on the for all car related questions. Depending on when you go in you may wait but they are worth it!
It's hard to find a good shop out there these days,but Blacks Auto has exceeded my expectations.
Both Mike and Andrew are very knowledgeable and accommodating when it comes to customers and their individual needs.
I have take both my vehicles for issues that were addressed with a great mechanic named Darrell after speaking with Darrell about my vehicle #1,I knew it was in good hands.
I just wish they were closer to my home for regular maintenance,but I will definitely have Blacks Auto for my go to shop.
I am an Army Veteran and getting a military discount really helps out too.

I had ordered new tires from another place, went to have them installed and they couldn't get the front passenger tire off to install new tire. I was very concerned because I was driving from south Carolina to Collinsville Illinois in 4 days. The manager came out and insured me there was a way to get it off, they just didn't have the tools. They told me to take it to Blacks tire and they would take care of me. So after they were finished installing the other tires I went down the street to Blacks tire. The gentleman at the counter was awesome. I asked if I needed to make an appointment, (I was hoping I didn't because of my upcoming trip). He said no we are going to take care of you very shortly. I was out of Blacks tire within an hour. I will be back.

Mike and Andrew are two of the rarest people in the automotive industry: They're honest! I pass 2 other Black's tire centers to come here because I can trust that what I'm told is accurate, the work from the guys in the shop is TOP TIER, and they're not going to try and price jack you. If you need any auto service, I 1000% recommend this as the only automotive shop in Florence.
Just got my oil change 7/1! I’ve been going there for years. 5stars, They always do me good! I’m a lady and I always get nervous thinking the employees at car places might try to pull a fast one on me because I don’t know anything about cars, but I never worry with the guys at Black’s, they change my oil check my tires and make sure I know when to come back and get service! Bring your car folks you in good hands.
Mike was a big help, ordered my tires, showed up on Monday, Mike recognized me right away, got my vehicle in and new tires installed. Very pleasant experience!!
Pulled in for a check engine light diagnostic check and was greeted and taken care of immediately. They weren’t able to perform any service but at least they were up front and honest. Highly recommend this location.
I picked up something in my tire while driving and I swung in here and they took care of me immediately they were super friendly got the car in got the tire fixed and had me back on the road and less than 30 minutes
The gentlemen here are always professional, and courteous. They are knowledgeable and they do a great job. They keep you updated as you wait and try to get you out as soon as possible
I have used several locations in Florence, South Carolina area. The employees are very efficient, very prompt and very friendly. They usually take care of any of my tire concerns on the fly, if an emergency.
Employees are accommodating and very, very helpful. And all are always willing to lift my BMW or Toyota to check out the tires and to see if I have a nail or another problem. Also, when I have tire rlated concerns such as brakes and other things they're willing to take a look at my questions and see if they can help me even if they are not billing me for that business visit, which is really great to have a business that is not greedy and cares for its customers.
Love the Blacks Tire and Auto Service on South Irby. The service is always fast. I dropped my car off this time instead of waiting and thought it would take half the day but they text me 2 hours later that it was ready to pick up. The drop off was easy since I take my car there often they had my services on the computer this made my checkout so fast and easy.
Customer service is amazing. Came within 15 minutes of them closing and they were so kind and thorough with inspecting my tire. Definitely will be returning with all my tire and car needs
Man in the front was very nice and welcoming. Two of the three mechanics I met were very professional and one explained what happened to my car and what he needed to do in a clear, professional way. I won't comment on the 3rd person. Overall, I liked most of my experience.
They are impeccable in customer service fast and knowledgeable I’m truly grateful God led me to them. I’m not from the area and it was so reassuring to know that I was dealing with upright people and an upright company. My husband did not go with me and it wasn’t a need to. Black’s tire service has a customer for life with me. My experience yesterday with a young lady that worked at the counter renewed my faith in humanity. She is very polite with all customers myself included ,very understanding and very professional. As long as she’s there working, I will always go there for all my vehicle needs. Her one act of kindness towards me was something I haven’t seen in people in years. She truly deserves a raise. And the young man that worked on my car did a outstanding job as well.
