The people were very nice. I had a tire leak on the front right tire when I went. I arrived with the tire pressure on 18psi. I requested that they check all tires to see which needed replaced. Advised the 2 rear needed replaced so moved front tires to rear and placed new tires on front. Asked about the tire pressure for the one that was leaking and if he tech who checked the tires seem a crack in the rim. I was advised no crack detected and that tires seem pressure was good. When I got back in my car, the same tire which was once on the front but now on the back had a psi of 17 which confirmed they did not properly inspect the tire as stated. The new tires run smooth.
I was very impress with the staff. The associate that assisted me spoke in a language that was very easy for me to understand. The waiting area was comfortable.
Husband and I had a low/flat tire while traveling in our travel trailer. Black’s Tire took us right in with no waiting time. We were back on the road in less than an hour with a new tire. Thankful for quick and friendly service!
I have always had a wonderful experience with Blacks Tire Service on Irby Street in Florence. I have experienced no pressure and truthful sales on my vehicle parts and service. I am always in and out within a reasonable amount of time. The staff team is pleasant and professional.
This has become my place. Brought my car in for an expensive repair and they called with the possibility that it wasn’t the part I was thinking before they dove in. But as it turned out it was the expensive part. They turned the service around quickly. Will always come here for those things I can’t do myself.
The employees are nice, respectful, and they do great work. Just got my shocks & struts replaced and motor mounts. My vehicle is riding better than it was. Thank yall
OMG BLACKS TIRE!!! My vehicle stalled on me right in front of Hardees on Irby street. Called blacks because they are about the only ones I trust with my vehicle. Needless to say Mike and his staff helped me a great deal. It was my alternator. The best part- they had it ready for me within hours. The price was lower than I expected. Blacks on Irby street is now and forever my go to. Pay them a visit. You won’t be sorry. Thanks Again!!!
I don't recommend this store, or any other "Goodyear" branded store. When needing warranty on their poor quality tires (Goodyear), they all of of sudden aren't a Goodyear store. Telling the customer to find a "corporate" Goodyear store. These tires were never right (pics). Just remember, many States, including South Carolina and Washington buy and use Goodyear tires. And they get in high speed persuits. Goodyear Starfire tires without a tread pattern in the center, the tires are worn evenly, and have "meat", but no tread pattern in the center. The tire store manager, repeatedly looked for a reason to not make this correct. First he said it could have been over inflated, then he tried to say the car needs an alignment. If the tire had been over-inflated their would not have been "meat", but no tread pattern, it would have been worn away. If the car was out of alignment, then they would not have been worn "evenly", they would have been worn uneven. It is abnoxious that a company providing tires to first responders can be so inept.
Again, I do not recommend this tire shop.
And the South Carolina State Troopers should shop somewhere else.
I am so thankful for Blacks Tire . I rushed out the house with only my drivers license and enough money to wash my car , then when I got in the car , realized that the tire pressure was low . Thinking I needed to get to Blacks Tire before it closed to get some air . Well as soon as they checked my tire , he saw a screw in my tire and said it needed patching . I explained that I didn’t have my purse on me and no money or card , only my drivers license . He was very nice and politely said he would use my drivers license to hold until I could get back on Monday to pay. I was extremely pleased , and was happy to be there on Monday morning . Thank you Blacks Tire for being so kind and helpful !

The employee’s were wonderful. They had the tire we needed in stock and with a few minutes after explaining our situation they were working on our vehicle. The time was not long at all. The price was what we were told when walked in. I will definitely be going back tires.
Black's is always the absolute best! Very friendly staff, always gets my car in as soon as possible, and I always know I'm getting top quality parts, and care for my vehicle. I can't recommend them enough! 10 stars always!
This place is a joke. My neighbor drove his truck up there for diagnosis. They told him he needed a new starter. They installed a new starter, and the truck still wouldn't start. He was charged for a starter that he didn't need, then they told him that the engine was locked up. I checked the truck out, and the A/C compressor was locked up. Not the engine. Bypassed the A/C compressor with a shorter belt and the truck runs like new.
I was very happy with the service, kindness, and courtesy I received while getting my tires replaced. They explained everything they did be and made sure I understood everything they were doing and the costs.
My experience was exceptional. The staff was very prompt and timely on my service. I could not be more pleased with the service from Blacks Tire . Have been a customer for many years and have not been disappointed.
I stopped in while they looked to be pretty busy, and they managed to get me taken care of! I didn't catch his name, but the man at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. He looked at my car to make sure that the tires I had seen would actually work and genuinely listened to me! He was very respectful and didn't try to upsell me on anything. I would definitely recommend this place to other young women!
Wonderfully experienced of dealing with the guys at the Florence SC shop. I had a tyre emergency and got new tires installed at a reasonable price, they guys were professional and fast. I highly recommend them.
Blacks on Irby st goes above and beyond I will recommend blacks to anyone who is in need of tires. My son had a flat tire early in the am so I was able to limp it to blacks where I was greeted with understanding and the guy made it quick and easy. Brand new tire and installation with warranty 147 out the door. The wait time was very short and they even had a cute charge made with a car battery because in my haste out the door I forgot my charger. Thanks blacks this wasn’t my first visit and I will be back for all my tire needs.
Black's Tires is the place to go if you want your oil changed in your car. They not only changed the oil, but totated the tires on my car. The wait was reasonable for my work day. I had a question about the interior of my car. The passenger side door handle is broken and I asked their counsel for repair or a replacement part. They found the part and gave several options to choose. I appreciate Black's Tires for their helpful service and counsel.
This is the second time I’ve been to Black TIRES Florence, South Carolina and have run into bad service myself. First time I would say accident second time I would say just trying to teach me out of money overall with this same vehicle it is 3×1st time. This is my daughter‘s car she took it. I told her how to stand outside and watch when they service her car and they said that they rotated her tires and she told them they didn’t. She called me. I went up there and talked with them. They said they did. I asked my daughter. Did she do what I’ve always told her to do. She said she did. She put two dots on the front tires as I’ve always told her the head man let us go in and look and the two dots were still on the front tires they had not been rotated. I asked the manager to rotate them because the two dots were still on the front tires. I told my daughter-in-law just because she was a lady that people would take advantage of them at a service station. Second time I took the vehicle up there they changed the oil they did not put the rubber seal back down on the oil filter like it should have. I drove off with it smell oil came back. It dropped 3 quarts of oil in a mile and a half by the time I brought it back that could’ve called him a engine if I hadn’t took it up there and smelt the oil third time I took it up there because my daughter had passed away for my son-in-law stood outside. Watch them change the oil service my daughter car for my son-in-law they charge me for gas treatment and did not check the air in the tires as I had requested but the service guy said he did. I’m standing out there watching him the whole time and he told the service manager that he checked the air in the tires, not a big thing, but if I did not stand outside and watch them, they would’ve charged me for gas treatment, which was $11 and something and they still didn’t check their tires which is fine. I know how to do that This is the last time I’m going up there if they cheat in a man what in the world, you think they doing to a woman and I’m standing there outside watching them the whole time. Beware they will teach you. I’m standing there watching them. Poor service bad service be aware.
The guys at the S Irby St store in Florence, SC got me back on the road in less than an hour from arrival time, actually probably quicker than that. They fixed my tire that had a nail and they also checked the other 3 tires to make sure they didn't have anything wrong and made sure that my tire pressures were topped off and had me road ready again. Hands down great overall experience at that particular store. I'm not sure if the other Black's Tire locations have the quality of employees and service as this particular location does, I am thankful for honest businesses and quality service and employees.
It's hard to find a good shop out there these days,but Blacks Auto has exceeded my expectations. Both Mike and Andrew are very knowledgeable and accommodating when it comes to customers and their individual needs. I have take both my vehicles for issues that were addressed with a great mechanic named Darrell after speaking with Darrell about my vehicle #1,I knew it was in good hands. I just wish they were closer to my home for regular maintenance,but I will definitely have Blacks Auto for my go to shop. I am an Army Veteran and getting a military discount really helps out too. Thanks Mike,Andrew,Darrell and Blacks Auto for treating me with respect and honesty.
I had ordered new tires from another place, went to have them installed and they couldn't get the front passenger tire off to install new tire. I was very concerned because I was driving from south Carolina to Collinsville Illinois in 4 days. The manager came out and insured me there was a way to get it off, they just didn't have the tools. They told me to take it to Blacks tire and they would take care of me. So after they were finished installing the other tires I went down the street to Blacks tire. The gentleman at the counter was awesome. I asked if I needed to make an appointment, (I was hoping I didn't because of my upcoming trip). He said no we are going to take care of you very shortly. Mike was a big help, ordered my tires, showed up on Monday, Mike recognized me right away, got my vehicle in and new tires installed. Very pleasant experience!!
