I was out of town, and this location went above and beyond to inspect my vehicle and make sure I could get to my next destination safely. It was easy to make an online appointment, and I confirmed with a friendly voice over the phone that they would be able to take a look at my vehicle. Their shop was super neat, clean and orderly. I appreciate their friendliness, understanding and help while I was in a bind. I would absolutely trust this location with my vehicle!
Malcolm and Marty are excellent at their job my car they fix the light on it and I highly recommend this business. They’re complete professionals and I appreciate what they’ve done for me and I definitely will be a returning customer.
I took my SUV in to have the bumper repaired and the there was a driver door had a drft as if the window was down when driving. Also the driver door latch need to be replaced.
Needless to say I am still waiting on the latch for the driver door and the bumper keeps popping open as if it wants to fall off. Also the draft is still there. It sounds like the window is open when it is really closed. I have taken my vehicle back there several times and each time I was told the technician assigned to my vehicle was not there. I have also called several time and have got the same response. NO TECHNICIAN. I would not recommend this place for repair to anyone. Poor workmanship.
Classic Collision has definitely exceeded my expectations! They did an amazing job repairing my truck, and the staff was wonderful. Ryan (Estimator) did a phenomenal job, and helped me a great deal throughout the process. I really appreciate how attentive and compassionate he was during this stressful time for me. Martin (Marty) Burke (General Manager) was absolutely amazing! He did not hesitate to address any concerns or questions, and he went above and beyond to assure that the quality of service I received was far above standard. Been a customer for a LONG TIME. Went it today to met by arrogant, unconcerned receptionist AFTER I was told by phone to just stop by and ask for them to look. Bypassed in the line, ignored. NEVER seen this here before. They always had GERAT customer service. But when I was bypassed forest by a customer who was a friend of the receptionist, that was enough.....
My vehicle was taken in for striking a wayward road cone at 70mph with a front tire. (It fell off of a utility truck just ahead of me.) after a few weeks I made my way there to pick up my vehicle. Rear door was ajar and my utility backpack is now missing in action. I would hate to accuse anyone, however, I have been on the hunt for it for well over a month knowing good and well it shouldn’t leave the vehicle unless I’m actively on a job.
I dropped my vehicle off on Monday to replace my old bumper with a new one. It was fixed by Friday. I appreciate the service and the staff were really helpful. My vehicle looks awesome! I recommend this shop.
It is a terrible place and I will not recommend it to anyone. I dropped off my car on 11-12-2024 for damage to my sunroof. The lady who took the photos told me she would call to offer me a quote. I checked on the status of the quote two weeks later to find out that they had already started the repair without telling me how much it would cost. It was hard to get someone to answer the phone, and when the person on the phone lied and said your car was ready, then he or she would come back and say they apologized; the manager and district manager are awful. My car was released without the repairs being completed on 1-03-2025, saying that when the part came in they would call and give me a rental until the repairs were completed. It's 1-28-25 and no call. My insurance company has already been billed. Don't waste your time and your mental health by using this company.
My daughters car has been there for repairs since approx November 7 and it still is not ready. No one from the shop ever calls her to update her and everytime she calls she is told it will be ready this afternoon or tomorrow. AND they took her rental car away!

I had my pickup towed here for repair. The repair order writer, Austin, must have thought I’ve never turned a wrench in my life. He wrote a repair order for over $9,500 for things such as: $255 for a used wheel. I picked one up at a local used parts yard for $65. $152 for a driver side door mirror. $50 at local yard. $250 for a leaf spring. I got both sides for $110 total. $1,400 for a used axle. $500 at local yard. They wanted to replace both leaf spring hangers on the left side for $600. New ones are under $100 each. The hangers were not damaged to begin with. All totaled they wanted over $3,000 for the suspension/parts. This did not include the labor. One item that gives a chuckle, $18 to disconnect a battery cable; really. We couldn’t agree on the suspension work, so I had my truck towed out and got it done for $1,200. That included everything needed on their work order plus new axle bearings on both sides, brake pads, calipers, brake rotors turned, new emergency brakes, complete brake line flush and refresh the gear oil.
A few weeks later I came back to finalize the body work order. On 10/24 we agreed on the work order of almost $4,000. I paid the deposit to get on the schedule and was told they could do the repair soon. After three weeks of silence, I called and they told me to drop it off early 11/18. Fast forward to noon on 11/27, I stopped by to see how the repair was going. After waiting a half hour, Austin told me they had not started the repair. He never would tell me why no one felt a need to call me. Seems now their experienced professional body men can’t do the repair. Asked why, I was told not enough billed hours for the job; 41 BODY LABOR HOURS AT $58 PER HOUR AND 8 PAINT HOURS AT $98 PER HOUR, AND THAT’S NOT ENOUGH. Their body men must only be able replace panels and such, and not metal working.
Austin promised me a call later in the day for a revised plan for the repair. He also said they would be open 11/29 and I could come by and see him. Of course I did not get a call. I stopped by CC @11am 11/29 only to find out Austin was not working.
Frustrated, I asked to speak to the manager, Kyle. I asked if we could walk out to my truck and maybe he could explain why my truck isn’t being or can’t be repaired. He popped off “he can’t have customers walking through his work bays and into his secure vehicle lot.” I took a couple seconds to run through my mind the six or so times I’ve been in his work bays and in the lot where my truck was. Most times with Austin, but twice, they just gave me the key and said “you know where your truck is, just go on back.”
I’ve had body work done at this location before when it was Jones Auto & Body. Classic Collison bought the business in 2022. Mr Jones ran a top notch place. He and his staff were true to their word and work, delivered on time and at a reasonable price.
That’s not case here at Classic Collison of Florence. Their work ethos appear to be “you need us, we don’t need you.” They are wrong. Management doesn’t seem to care. They know the insurance companies will send vehicles to their shop. The thing is, you don’t have to agree to let them do the repair.
Save yourself the stress, go somewhere else.
I told mister Kyle to pull my truck around front, give me my key and refund my deposit. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
My entire experience with classic collision was 5 stars. Austin Vaught was AMAZING. He is so professional and a perfectionist with his repairs. He answered all my questions with quick responses every time I messaged him. He came highly recommended from the Honda dealership and my insurance agent. The entire staff was wonderful.

Everyone here from the employees behind the window to the guys in the back, are all amazing. Nothing but good energy and will go out of their way to help you. After Florence Toyota damaged my truck and couldn’t get it fixed with their mobile guy, these guys went above and beyond and my truck was done before the time estimated. I don’t know all the names, but Matt, walker, and Austin, are just a few to thank. Awesome job. Definitely will be the shop I go to for now on.

This was one of the repair shops provided by my insurance company. They kept me up to date with the repairs and kept me informed throughout the process. They really did an amazing job on the repairs.
I can't say enough good things about these guys! I purchased a new Nissan Maxima in September. At the time of purchase, I didn't notice that the hood of the car was mounted incorrectly, creating a lot of wonky angles along the car's profile on both sides, above the front fenders.
On four occasions, I took the car back to the dealership (Nissan of Sumter) to be fixed under warranty. Each time, they gave me my car back having solved nothing.
Well, it only took once for Classic Collision to get it right! These guys saved me from losing thousands of dollars in depreciation! I was ready to trade my car in. Classic Collision was able to make my car look the way it should have when it left the factory!
My Camry got hit pretty hard and it took 2-3 weeks but when I got it back it looked brand new and was washed outside and cleaned inside . Very happy with the work and customer service. I will recommend them and take my vehicle here in the future.
This morning, I had a tire that ruptured quite dangerously in front of their shop. I was shaken and just pulled into their lot in the very early morning hours for the light of their parking lot. Mr. Thomas and another mechanic helped me change my tire, checked it was safe for me to drive, and got me safely to work. I’ll never forget the kindness and if that’s the professionalism, devotion, and help they’ll give to a complete stranger, I can only imagine the exceptional service they give to their customers during their normal business hours. I will ALWAYS recommend them going forward and will never forget the kindness, gentlemen. Thank you.
My wife had a collision in September her car sat at Classic Collison for 3 months. Our rental car was only covered for a month. I probably called 12 or more times trying to get an update and was promised a call back every time which I never got. No one ever seemed to know the status of her car. In December I finally threatened to take it somewhere else and the manager "Matt" said he apologized and blamed Progressive for the hold up (Progressive said it had been paid for months ago). After taking the car home I went to check the car and noticed they had shoved the headlights in after installing the bumper and scratched the fresh paint off the bumper they had just painted. In addition to that they installed the old Chevy symbol back on the front of her car that was broken in half... Matt promised me he would take care of this, never heard back, surprise-surprise. (at least it drives I guess).. Extremally frustrating experience. I would not recommend this place.
My experience was good at first. But after picking up my vehicle I realized it was more wrong with my vehicle after I picked it up than before I dropped it off. The service I was getting was for a leak in my vehicle supposedly from the sunroom. They had to remove my carpet, clean, and deodorize it. After picking it, my back up camera doesn’t work as well as my bright lights, and interior lights. I spoke with Matt the general manager and he stated that he was doing me a favor by doing the service because many people in Florence normally doesn’t do. How it it my fault that your technician did not check my car correctly after placing my carpet back in my car. How are placing the blame on the customer. I listened but as soon as they get my deficiencies fixed that they caused back working. They will never have to worry about me coming back or referring them for business.
Classic collision fixed a spot on the front bumper and I have never seen anyone color match a hard to paint metallic color like they did. It looks brand new , you would NEVER tell the tip of the nose had it paint matched. And I have been in the automotive industry going on 25 years. I can not express what I quality job they did.

I was involved in a car accident and chose this place. Talk about making great decisions?! They had my car done and looking great in just a few days. No lie. They pulled my car up front and it looked the same way it did when I first brought it. Damage completely gone and car was super clean. I highly recommend this place for any type of car body work.

Went in to Jones Auto Wrecking after a few other auto shops in the area told me they couldn't fix my problem. The back sliding window of my truck had popped off the track and I wasn't able to get it back in myself.
I walked into the repair shop and was immediately greeted and told to pull the truck in. After taking a look at the window they were able to fix it using a hell of lot of elbow grease and determination. I was in an out in less than 45 minutes. I couldn't be more thankful for my experience with them! Great customer service and great value, don't go anywhere else for your auto repair needs.
