told me to pick up my car before 3, got there at 1:30 and they refused to release my car. spoke to two teenage girls who were snarky then a middle aged man who told me i couldn’t get my car because of a company “tragedy.” rude, careless and disrespectful. no clue how to run a business.
DON'T SIGN ANYTHING FROM THEM. Stole my Raycon earbuds, broke my sunglasses and phone holder and threw all ny other stuff with these items in a garbage bag and denied my claim against them because I signed a screen to get my belongings back that they said I had to sign. DON'T SIGN ANYTHING FROM THEM!!
This people here are not proffesional at all they will play you to make you pay in every way to keep running their business their are very rude now if we look a the RI law after making your payments you entire to reiceved you propertys back they will hold your car so they can make more money out from you when you call them they be rude with you so they can get what they want i will sudmit a complain whit the state of RI about them
These people are careless and dont care about the damage that they make on people's vehicles. I cant believe that anyone would actually use them. They have used my vehicle for joy riding when the key was given to them. They ran a red light in my car and had to pay the ticket. Now my vehicle is smashed up in different locations!
Can't get anyone to answer the phone. Damaged my rear bumper on a BMW X4! The fowarding agent told me "good luck proving it!" Got intouch with Chris today. Explained what had happened and he was responsive and promised to contact me back. I can't speak to all the other reviews but ultimately at least they treated me like a person. At the end of the day that is good business to me. It doesn't always work out the way you would like it! Thanks Chris for looking into it.
It’s sad that I had the same experience of all the reviews I’m reading the took my car And went through it before I could even pick up my belongings in four days. Stole items out out of it and then lied and claimed that I signed the paperwork after I reviewed the stuff that was in trash bags and that my items were inside when in fact, I have evidence that it was outside so I dropped the claim and I’m gonna move forward with the lawyer and have the camera subpoenaed because you’re not gonna lie about 130 bucks that’s pathetic. So I’m pretty sure that when a judge sees that my items were not only outside when they claim they were inside, but that I actually just took the trash bags from outside and put them in my trunk and did not go through them before signing like they said I did they’re gonna look pretty stupid.
They will not share fee information except over the phone. They do not answer their phone. This place exploits people having financial issues by giving them the run around so you have stacked up an exorbitant amount of fees by the time you collect your stuff. Cosigned a loan for my sister and now dealing with scammed and grifters. I am reporting them to the better business bureau.
They are not accredited. File a complaint with the FTC for exploitative practices.

Went with a friend to get their car today... it was trashed with items missing, the inside of the car itself was damaged (they weren't willing to talk to me to resolve this) and the car smelled like piss and the drivers floor was wet?! Incredibly disgusting and unprofessional. All this after waiting 15 minutes because another person was arguing because they had money and belongings stolen as well.
Since there are so many bad reviews already, this might go on deaf ears.

Go here if you want a service that speeds and weaves through traffic with your car. I’m surprised it even stayed in the flatbed the way the guy was driving
Absolutely abhorrent communication skills. Did not tell me everything I need to bring to my appointment. The driver was not surprised and called the people in the office idiots, I agree.
I truly feel bad for the people who left bad reviews, but I had the same problem with not getting through by calling I did communicate through text with one of the workers but limited so I went to the office & luckily a woman who worked there who had a daughter who also worked there I forgot her name but she was the sweetest & patient with helping me make sure I was able to pick up my car also another worker Cassandra I truly appreciate them & their patience with helping me find & be able to pick up my car. Thank you ladies so much ??
Lazy and no concern for others time. Walking around, washing tow truck by hand and smoking cigarettes, while we ( who made an appointment for a simple pickup of a towed car) waited for over an hour while they “Went to get it”. I get the rest of the bad reviews.
If I could give 1/2 a star I would, My experiance with this company was horrendous and very demeaning and pray no-one ever has a repossession and has to retrieve it from these people. My bank released my Vehicle Friday and expressed that it takes an hour to retrieve the paperwork on their end an that I could do same day pick up due to their previous private conversation with Eastern Recovery. I called all day Friday no answer, I texted and didn't get a response, I had to go on the website and get an appointment for four days later to pick up my vehicle which meant I was getting charged. I called my bank who let me know that was not acceptable and that after my vehicle is released they have to accommodate post an agreement had with Eastern and GM Financial.
When I arrived to the location in Smithfield, they were laughing and not working at all. I could see why my phone calls weren't ever answered. The tow/lot porter was by herself which I was sympathetic too however both her and the "receptionist" were extremely rude, demeaning, even mentioned I was there caus eI couldn't pay my loan which wasn't the whole story. Very judgmental , and such a disgrace. They were very curt rude and disrespectful towards me. I expressed my long drive and ended up emotional and they just interrupted me and called me a liar when I had proof of the email from my bank stating to pick my vehicle up Friday and it was Monday. I expressed I made an appointment and they said good come back that day and then expressed they were backed up and truly hoped that I indeed did make an appointment insinuating I wa saying about that too. Worse experience of my life. I would like to thank the gentleman that was sitting in the back who seen my frustration and heard me out . Wether it was to shut me up and get me out or not I appreciated his help and they as able to get my vehicle .
the reviews for this place does not give this place the recognition that it deserves, i went in today to just get my car seat out of the car and was met with Steph and Cassie who actually help me get my car itself , these girls were beyond amazing , customers should understand they are not the reason your car was taken away they are just there doing their job . Thank you to both girls for your kindness today and all your help
This place gives the towing profession a bad name. Any company that deals with them should give much pause. Driving my vehicle until it had virtually no gas, going through the car and damaging personal property, pulling things out of places that shouldn’t be accessed. Removing a piece from my vehicle.. maybe they wanted as a replacement part. It was very clearly removed with tools. And to top it off.. breaking the piece that assists in holding the hood up safely. Absolutely no professionalism or integrity. Beware!
The worst place ever, went to pick up my belongings, and they gave me the wrong plates and expired. Very unprofessional and the place smells so bad. Very irresponsible. 0 recommendation's
went to pick up my personal belongings and had multiple things missing including an air compressor and a 3’high x 4’ wide speaker box with 4 speakers that were in the pictures they had, my daughters stanley cup, everything that was in the glove box, brand new drillbet set unopened, kids pics and now they’re nowhere to be found ? I had other people license plates and other belongings mixed in with my property, I guess now I don’t feel so bad about slamming into tow-truck trying to get out of my driveway ????
Absolute joke of a crew...waiting 20 min after driving all the way to RI for them to "get caught up in a meeting" even tho I had to call 15 min in advance and I'm still here waiting...absolute joke..and why is there office miles away from the lot?
This place was very unprofessional they towed my daughter's car due to her bank in which she paid her bill the next day including towing charges of a substantial amount, we went to pick up her car they gave us a huge hassle and no one had answers to anything but they surprised us with an extra huge bill upon arrival and when confronted they were very rude and dismissive when confronted! They did take her car as she had someone's charger left in her car, be careful dealing with this business it seems privately owned and they just make stuff up as they go!!!
Only place I'll call from now on. 2 very difficult jobs done flawlessly: a shipping container shoehorned into a tight spot and a vintage car right onto my frame table. Professional, on time and skilled. Can't ask for anything more. Thank you.
once this company tows your car. Leave it because it won't be useful for anything else. Nobody will fix it for you, not even with lawyers, nobody is responsible. Your insurance doesn't pay.
Horrible company, came to secured off job, took my car with no contact. I tried to get my car and these frauds wanted to charge me 125$ to pick up my life documents, would never recommend for any service or possession.
