It’s a Dollar General, they’re never great but convenient. This one is usually pretty packed with products, but if you need something quick it’s a good place to go
Every time I go to this store in the afternoon.It says, it's closed due to emergency.This has happened 3 times in the last month.It's safe to say.I will not be going to the store anymore.Being it's always closed in the afternoon.I will go to one of the other 3 dollar generals in the area
Clean and busy store. Had a bit less to offer in the home goods sections but this store sees some high traffic. Whole front end of the store smelled like onions from the Subway next door tho
This store gets a lot of traffic and is not the biggest store so seems crowded and tight. A lot of times they are low on stock because of the number of customers they get. Hamlin is the closest shopping place for a lot of the developments in the area thus a lot of people. This store always seems a mess to me so I don’t shop here anymore.
Between staff closing the store early on multiple occasions and the staff just being rude and miserable I'll go out of my way to go to Mt Cobb. I get everyone has a bad day now and then but these women are always so miserable , nasty, and disrespectful
Clearly understaffed. Store was sloppy, long lines. Bathroom unusable, no toilet paper and filthy. One staff member present on Sunday afternoon was a kind woman who was very cleanly in how she checked each customer out and she bagged items with care. She gets my one gold star.
Just so everyone knows; this dollar general in Hamlin PA embarrassed me by mask shaming me when they have known me for years. They then added further insult to injury by trying to force me to break my HIPPA protections and describe my conditions in front of total strangers, all while some customer, obviously named Karen tried starting a verbal altercation with me. I for one will never be going back there.
I prefer Dollar Tree where everything is actually a $1.00, I only stopped here because it was on the way, didn't find what I was looking for, they don't carry tapered candles, I did get a decoration for my front door but it was $5.00.
I didn't like the way justin which is a worker there talked to me and my family. I feel like hes really disrespectful and I will be letting friends know and I will not be going there anymore.
Fantastic manager and Associates. The store was Immaculate and everything was well stocked. Everyone should be praised for their individual jobs that they do.
I have a ton of these stores near me, this is one of the older stores that needs to be renovated. It also needs to be open until 10 PM, why this store closes at 9 PM is beyond me since it's on the center of Hamlin.
It was 5 minutes to close. We pulled into the parking lot, the associate came to the door, looked at our car, and locked the door. He stared us down till we left. Very unprofessional.
It was terrible in that store are milk thing was broke and said it's going to be weeks before it's fixed the one entrance door is broke you can't get out of it the shelves are half empty and you built a whole bunch of them stupid stores all over the area and I'm refusing to shopping them now you got too big for your Bridges
What can I say? They have every little thing I need there. Sometimes I lose track of rime and I spend at least close to two hours bargain hunting household items.
My favorite store the staff is excellent one assistant manager name Zach will help you with anything he's very professional and conscientious employee and cares about his customers
Older store. Has the basics, but doesn’t carry a lot of items that the newer built stores in the area carry. Pretty decent customer service. The employees are nice, but they go through employees fairly fast. Always a new face to see, I guess lol
I like that DG’s are open until 10. And I frequently go in to buy milk and snacks to avoid the grocery store.
Dollar General is coming out with a lot of newer, contemporary, very pretty things! I always seem to buy something I don’t need!! Clothes, rugs, new sheet set. They also offer my cats for at a lower price than the grocery store, as well as other basics that sometimes go on sale.
I've been going to this location for 14 years and originally it was a great place. Over the past year since they opened up THREE brand new stores within five miles of each other (and they are FABULOUS) this location has completely gone down hill. It is filthy dirty, poorly stocked and VERY disorganized. Shelves are not neat and orderly like you see in other DG locations. Female manager there is nasty and rude and is NOT an asset to Dollar General. I suggest taking the less than 10 minute car ride to locations on Lake Ariel Hwy and the newest one by The Hideout.
