She was an absolute gift of experience and wisdom and told us exactly what we needed to do. Would absolutely recommend this business and will certainly use them again!
For over a decade, I avoided buying a car from a dealer on the basis most were over priced with a high pressure sales environment. That's until On The Road Again happened to have a specific car model I was looing for. It was in great shape with low miles and at a great price. There was never any pressure or "puffing" to get me to purchase the car. Everyone from the owner to the receptionist were incredibly friendly. I felt less like I was at a car dealership and more like I was visit some relatives. If you're looking to buy a decent used car at a reasonable price, give this place a look. You can even see all of the cars they have for sale on their website.
We recently had an overall pleasant experience with this dealership, including their titling service. From the beginning, Donna and Sally in the office were absolutely wonderful, kind, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. We had an issue with a title, and they were incredibly on top of it, helping us in a way we truly didn’t expect. We’re so grateful for their dedication and support.
While dealing with the title situation, we also came across a truck we really liked. Although we couldn’t afford it right away, after some negotiations, we agreed on a price of $7,000, which we were happy with. We didn’t have the full amount upfront, but Donna was generous enough to allow us to hold the truck until we came up with the rest. That process took about a month, and we appreciated how accommodating and understanding everyone was.
We picked up the truck last Friday, and everything seemed to be going well. Until about five days later, when the truck stopped running. Unfortunately, my husband and I haven’t had the best luck with vehicles, so we were hopeful that the dealership would work with us, especially since we’d only owned the truck for six days. To their credit, they were courteous and came out to check the truck. They discovered the fuel pump had gone bad, got it running temporarily, and drove it back to the dealership for repairs.
While we were thankful for how quickly they got the truck back up and running, we were disappointed to be charged for the cost of parts and labor. Given how soon the breakdown occurred, it felt like an issue that should have been addressed before the sale. That part of the experience left a bad taste in our mouth.
It’s hard not to leave a full 5-star review because Donna and Sally truly treated us with kindness and professionalism. But we don’t feel it was fair to be charged for a repair on a vehicle we’d only had for less than a week. We’re still very grateful for the help we received, but that final part of the experience unfortunately brought down what had otherwise been a great interaction.

I bet they will never forget the Gator Wrangler. They all were very and accommodating with helping me get a vehicle. Next time I go Wrangling a Gator I'm taking yall.
Love this place! Great prices and no pressure. I got to look at a few cars, picked one i liked, had my mechanic check it out, and bought it. Good older used cars. Would definitely buy here again!
So I cannot give more stars. The two stars is for friendly service and they are good with title transferring but I recently bought a Ford Edge there and I know these are older cars and it is “AS IS” dealership but just be careful when you buy. Recommend have someone that knows cars look at it for you. I took it to two mechanics to get a good look at the car and the results were a little worse than I had hoped. Both garages showed the same things to me. Oil pan for transmission leaks, power steering pump leaks, bad sway bar linkages, cracked serpentine belt, pinion gear leaking, exhaust pipe completely loose, rotted out rockers, frame is rotting out only got a year at most with that per both garages.
I recently had a terrible experience with On The Road Again Auto Sales that I feel compelled to share. My husband purchased a 2005 Jeep Cherokee from this place on May 25th 2024 for $5583.00 and it has been nothing but trouble since then. We have had multiple issues with the car, and when I reached out to the owner for help, he was completely unhelpful and even tried to blame us for the problems. He has since offered to help fix the car but it’s been a bad game of telephone. It’s also hard to trust the person that sold us this death trap in the first place to reliably fix it.
Feeling frustrated and concerned for our safety, we decided to get a full diagnostic done on the vehicle. The results were shocking - the car was deemed to be in terrible condition, with numerous issues that should have been caught during the inspection process. Our mechanic was outraged at the state of the car, and even suggested that we report the auto sales place for their faulty inspection practices.
An inspection officer did end up getting involved , he did a 100 pt inspection on the car and not only deemed it unsafe for the road but even removed the inspection sticker from the car.
What truly angers me the most is that my husband specifically mentioned to the owner that we had a newborn baby and needed a safe and reliable vehicle. Despite this, the owner still sold us a car that was clearly not fit for the road, putting our family at risk. It is truly despicable that someone would prioritize profit over the safety of their customers, especially when it involves the well-being of a child.
I urge anyone considering purchasing a car from this place to think twice. The lack of ethics and disregard for customer safety displayed by the owner is truly appalling. Do not make the same mistake we did - steer clear of this auto sales place at all costs
I bought a 1994 Dodge Dakota single cab short bed with a 5 speed in it. Jim was very helpful and Donna was such a wonder to deal with. Very pleased to deal with them. Great group of people and very helpful. If I ever needed any questions answered on vehicles or notary stuff they were always more then willing to help me find out what I needed to know. Great group of people and the Guys who worked on the vehicles were a very very big help as well. I will easily always come back for another car and I strongly suggest you do as well.
Do not buy a car off this guy jim is a crook. First bought a truck said it was a coil after breaking down 3 times with it and a month of bringing it to him problem not solved needed wire harness and new transmission which he did nothing about. Next gave it a chance again bought a suburu off him. Again said bad coul wasn't it motor blew 3 days after buying brought it to him said he replaced the motor ok cool. 2 days after getting it back motor blew told him about it said he'd get a motor after calling multiple times no call back. Dude is a complete crook
Bought a car here over about 2 years ago and just came back for a more reliable winter vehicle! Great to have honest people who are willing to tell you everything straight. Will be returning to these guys for my next vehicle!
I brought a Chevy truck from here summer of 2019..I sand blasted the under body. And did the brake pads and emergency brake cables put the front level kit on.. The truck just hit. 90k miles. All used cars in the world will always need minor work. This guy gets good car's. My own father sells used cars. And I choosed to purchase my 1st pick up from this man.. thank for the most solid car I ever owned..God bless on the road again auto sales..
Get a Carfax report (it's worth buying yourself since they do not offer them), documentation on the repairs that have been done by them
and bring the car to a mechanic to look over BEFORE buying. The car may look nice but looks are decieving. Dont trust their word.
I understand what "as is" means and realize that the person at fault is me for trusting people that seem very genuine and helpful. I bought a car here a few weeks ago with the promise of an emissions inspection. I called several times and left my phone number and never received a call back. Two days after purchasing my vehicle the check engine light came on along with a violent stutter, I got it towed to a shop that specializes in subaru repairs. The mechanic informed me that it was a cylinder misfire. The mechanic then proceeded to tell me about all the other problems that were clearly "hidden" with minor repairs. Upon further inspection I was informed that the engine in my vehicle is NOT the engine that is SUPPOSED to be in my vehicle. My personal opinion is to AVOID this dealership.

Bought a car and failed inspection the next year due to fist sized holes in the frame. I have no idea how I missed them when I took a peak underneath. Now I'm paying for a car I can't drive, and shouldn't have been on the market to begin with. I should have had a mechanic look at it, but the dealer wouldn't allow it.
Nothing but trouble..had the pathfinder for 6 weeks and transmission was filled with antifreeze had a bad radiator. Had to replace radiator and flush trans. Could not pass inspection needed it $1500 of work. Balljoints broken spring and struts. Now the transmission is slipping ...bad valve body. He should lose his dealer's license... for defrauding the public. Stay far away from this car dealer he a rip off.
So far so good, I have purchased a budget car from the owner. I was made aware of any issues the vehicle has had. The owners willingness to help get you into your next budget car was beyond expectations. Even though the car has some issues and it was sold as-is I feel like I got a good deal.
What a pack of liars... Promise you one thing and then do the complete opposite! STAY AWAY...Spend your money and time at other dealers..ones that will respect your business, not these shysters!
i bought a 2005 lacrosse, buick from this guy and was told it was a great car, not , the engine light comes on a few days after i bought the car, all i want is an honest person. i don't want the car anymore, and i can't even sell it back. or get something else. Because it's used. so don't buy a car from this guy. unless you take to a mechanic yourself. he rushed me into buying it, so really don't buy anything from him.
I bought a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo from this dealer and was told that nothing was wrong and everything worked fine. I took it in for an inspection and it costs 3k to fix the vehicle just enough for the vehicle to pass inspection. Not to mention the remainder of the under body work that needs to be completed if I want to save the vehicle for another year. Mind you I've only had this vehicle since the beginning of 2017!!! I will be contacting the BBB and state agency on vehicle inspections to be sold in the Commonwealth.
