Honest hard working, straight forward service! Wife took her 2026 new CRV with tire that kept deflating, turned out it was nothing more than a beed seating issue. Guys quickly tested the tire, filled it up and corrected the issue. No fake problems, just professional service! PS I have had all my wheel and tire work done here without any problems!

I had a really positive experience at Mavis Discount Tire. The staff was friendly and professional, and Brian was a big help throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood the pricing before any work was done.

The team here doesn’t disappoint- they got a set of tires on my mom’s car and do an oil change for us on a seconds notice- and even matched prices for tires too. These guys go the extra mile. Customer service “like we used to see”.

Was driving from Vermont to Nashville and a large piece of metal was kicked in front of us and destroyed a tire. Threw the donut on and started looking for tire stores. Being a holiday, I wasn’t expecting to find anything open. Mavis in Hamlin was! The folks there were professional, got me right in, put a new tire on and I was back on the road! A big “THANK YOU” to all the folks there!

Driving in a rental car North on 81, somehow ran over a drill bit that punctured the passenger rear tire with only 5K miles on it. After putting the spare on and making it to Hamlin Pa, I stopped here to see about fixing the tire. Due to company policy, they couldn't plug or patch it because the pucture was on the outer edge of the tread. They presented a solution to replace the tire since they had a relationship with the Fleet car companies. It wasn't fast but that had nothing to due with the shop and everything to do with the Fleet company. In the end, they installed a brand new tire, paid by the Fleet Co. I only wish it didn't take 8hrs. We were able to drive home to Ohio with the piece of mind knowing we had a spare on board, and 4 new tires on the truck. Thank you for going the distance for our family, you certainly didn't need to spend 8 hrs for 1 new tire! If only customer service was like this for every company! LOL

I went in for an inspection ar the Hamlin location. My appointment was for 12:00. My vehicle wasn't brought in until 12:50. I was told I needed front AND rear breaks and rotors. Total would be, before taxes and fees, $1234.33. The next day I brought my vehicle to the local garage. I needed front breaks and rotors ONLY. The rears were perfectly fine. Total before tax for front breaks and rotors $299.99. Maybe because I'm a woman, they thought they would get over because I don't know about cars. Well suprise I do, and wasn't getting taking advantage of. The also gave me a hard time insisting i needed emissions inspection, although I live in a county that doesn't require it. Last time you'll EVER see me step foot in that business.

Had an appt for tire mount and balance and an alignment. Got right in at the appt time. Took less than an hour and they kept me updated during the process of what step they were at. Put customer satisfaction at the forefront.

Cheap tires and the manager was very good. I have a mechanic I use for additional work on my car and the manager was very polite and understood I was there for the tires and an oil change and that was it. The tires were a good deal and saved me about $200 to $300 bucks compared to other dealers.

The entire staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable. They were able to work with us on a last minute tire emergency and get us back on the road quickly. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This Mavis location is one of the best automotive places I have been to. The service is always perfect. They get you in and out as quickly as possible and the mechanics know what they're doing. I want to especially thank Stephan & Brian on this visit as they both assisted me when getting my car inspected. Brian kept me aware of what was going on & got me the best price for what I needed done. Thanks again. Definitely a place to go to get your car needs taken care of.

Went to the Hamlin location to day. I was greeted by service man Brian, He was knowledgeable and professional, he did on my car and did an excellent job. Also was thorough explaining and he worked on my quickly. I was very happy with the service and I will also bring my business vehicle there as well. I will recommend mavis to everyone . Brian is an excellent mechanic.

We had a tire failure on I 84, and found them with Google. Despite it being a Sunday, they got the messed up tire replaced and the spare stowed again with no hassle. Staff were uniformly nice, and the waiting area was reasonably comfortable.

I just went over to the Hamlin Mavis for an emissions and safety inspection since they had an emissions testing machine. It was my first time having a car inspected in Pennsylvania and I was told i needed a place that could do emissions testing. I was greeted by Bryan at the counter and he explained the whole inspection process to me and helped me get my car checked in and inspected. I was very happy with the service I received and appreciated how helpful and knowledgeable Bryan was.

As usual, Bryan was knowledgeable, professional and put customer satisfaction first. I arrived for my appt on the car was immediately brought into garage for assessment.

I’ll be honest, the only reason I went to this particular Mavis is because of the service the manager, Neil Donavan provides. I bought 4 tires and did an alignment and everything went smooth and professional.

Went to the Hamlin location and was amazed with the customer service we received by Brian Dwyer. I am a long time supporter of Mavis shops with all my vehicles through the years and have experienced many different managers and I must say you have a winner with Brian. Courteous , pleasant and just willing to get it done. Thanks so much

I brought my car in for an inspection. They were very helpful and very professional. Great team and the manager and inspector were truly great and took the time to explain everything to me. As an enhanced state inspector my self, there were hands down absolutely amazing. Highly recommend

Great crew here. This is the only place I bring my car. They are always fast and friendly. They have also rotated my tires rotation for free without doing any other work. I highly recommend them!

They explained everything clearly, didn’t try to upsell me, and had my vehicle ready faster than expected. The service was top-notch, the prices were fair, and the team truly cared about customer satisfaction. Buyer Beware - Like most tire places, this location nails you with accessorial charges. Was quoted $135 for 2 tires for my travel trailer. Was asked about valve stems and balancing, which I agreed to. My final bill was $201. The $67 tires incurred $30 of extra charges. Every tire dealer does this but these charges seem exorbinant! I won't return.

I stopped in because my oil level was low. The gentleman at the service desk was friendly and helpful. They added a quart of oil to my car for me. The process took 10 minutes. Would highly recommend them

The guys at Mavis Tire are amazing. My husband, friend and I are on a road trip to Tennessee from Connecticut where my skid plate started hanging from the underside of my car. I pulled off the highway to jack it up and fix it myself, but couldn’t get the zip ties to hook up properly. I called Mavis Tire and asked for help and they got me in IMMEDIATELY no questions asked. They were so helpful, kind and a pleasure to talk to. I can’t thank them enough for their professionalism and quick work!

Mavis failed my truck on brakes and recommended changing pads and rotors all around for a quoted price of $1200. I put my truck on the lift and removed all pads and rotors. Pads looked brand new. I replaced everything myself for $500. Brought my truck back for a “reinspection” which they failed to complete in the day I was scheduled to have it completed.

These guys were not only knowledgeable but also very friendly and helpful. I have been taking my cars to that facility for many years. This review was long overdue. John and his team were great with getting me in and out on the day that a huge snow storm was coming in. He also reminded me about the 100.00 rebate on my tires! Awesome, friendly, knowledgeable service that just seems so rare these days. The waiting area had proper reading material as well as a view window to watch the actual work being done! Very cool!
