Highly recommend this location because of how helpful and knowledgeable Nico (not sure of spelling) was when I need windshield wipers. He not only found the correct size, but also helped with installation. He went above and beyond, and I’m grateful. Kudos!
What type of training are you providing for these male employees? These male employees behave as if a female lacks understanding of their tasks and is not as significant as a male counterpart. I am not easily offended, but I would prefer to avoid this establishment or only enter it if I am truly in need. Your staff should regard every patron as a standard customer, irrespective of their gender. To be honest, I was overlooked simply because I am not male. I am not exaggerating; a man entered from outside while I was waiting in line, and he was allowed to cut in front of me by your employee. I placed my belongings down and departed. Unfortunately had to go to Honesdale.
A Great team and at least for me the Gentleman who helped me went out of his way to help me find a fuel pump for my car when nobody else could and everyone there made me feel like a person THANK YOU!!!
Went there yesterday and the guy refused to install battery because it was too cold. The battery tester was also apparently broken. I asked if he would be able to do it tomorrow when it was warmer, if I could get it jumped again, and he said no.
The one star review is only for this one reason, when you call them the phone rings and rings then someone either picks up and hangs up or it does that automatically?
The workers there are super nice but someone needs to pick up the phone regardless if they are busy and just put you on hold. Napa right across the street from then answer there phones asap.
Called with a question and was super impressed at how polite and professional the associate was who answered the phone. Ended up going in, and the same gentleman (JP, I believe) went above and beyond to help me. I'll definitely be back.
The staff is not helpful at all. Was looking for something they said is somewhere on back wall. Did not come out and help look,she was to busy talking to other co-woker. I was the only customer
better than autozone in terms of customer service but their prices are absurd. 11 dollars for a bulb the size of my pinky? 8 dollars for stick on blind side mirrors?
The past two years I've been coming to this store I've met different employees that did a phenomenal job, went above and beyond and were just extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Well in store 06787 in Hamlin, they do just that. Yesterday in the Hamlin store I had the pleasure of working with what I call the regular awesome crew. Hunter, Jarid, Stephanie and JP. Now I've worked with all of them separate and together. They are all very knowledgeable, they've always helped me solve my problem or issue. They have given knowledge and advice to me for particular situations that I've encountered. The four of them are amazing whether they are working together or not. I just want to recognize or have Advance Auto recognize these four hard working awesome employees. Thye are professional, kind, enthustiac, and friendly. I appreciate them because when I enter the store, find my item, I leave happy because of the interaction I have had with any one of them. To sum it up, these four employees need to be recognized for their excellent customer service interactions.

Maybe i am just having a bad day but,when you ask them to check to see if a filter will work, and they say sure what vehicle...you tell them 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, they ask you what engine, and yes i should know my engine. But there is only 1 engine for that year Laredo, he says there is more then one, I tell him not for the Laredo, he says that is only a trim package. I said i know, but there is only 1 engine, he said fine we won't pick a engine. Tone of voice like I am stupid. So hey buddy, type in Laredo in your computer. GUESS WHAT it will default to the 3.6L.
No other engines!!!!
I prefer the store in Hamlin over the one they have in honesdale only go to either one when I need a part now other than that prices on EVERYTHING is way to high you need an oil change get stuff from Walmart it's half price you need parts go to rock auto or parts geek same brands at a fraction of the price
Lake Ariel store is terrible. There are not enough employees to take care of customers. I don’t want to wait in line 30 minutes for a few parts. This is not 1980. Plenty of other parts places around. Management refuses to hire more full time people. They want to hire part time only. Then they say they can’ t get people to come to work. For what a part timer makes, once you factor in the price of the Biden gas prices, it is not worth it to come in for 29 hours a week and take home $100 after paying for gas.
Always have to make several trips due to wrong parts. You will be better off going to NAPA across the street. I have called several times with no answer. I have waited for someone to answer for what seemed like an hour and got hung up on, on numerous occasions! MAKE SURE IF YOU DO GO HERE CALL NAPA FIRST THEY USUALLY HAVE BETTER PRICES!! DO YOURSELF THE FAVOR! PLEASE!!
They always have everything I'm looking for. Very knowledgeable staff working there,always willing to give you a helping hand with installing wipers/batteries etc.
Went there with my buddy to grab a boat battery in a jam. The lady who took care of us on pointe, wasted no time in getting us the right battery, and had us on our way in jiff. She had a great attitude.

Always have an excellent selection of speciality hardware. Can get pretty much anything you need close to home. Tool selection as good, if not better than big box stores.
The staff here is always so friendly and helpful. They always take the time to answer questions in a professional way that even a layman like me can understand.
I bought a set of wiper blades on 01/08/2020, today 02/02 one of the plastic clips broke, called the Hamlin store and spoke with Matt.
Matt had me stop by and found an extra clip for the blade and put it back on for me.

I use this place for most small auto parts. The even installed two new batteries for me one in my jeep another in my motorhome. My only complaint is they never have small oil filters for my motor home generator or my cub cadet lawn mower.
They are a Great Help if looking for something regardless if on the car or for it..or anything in the store! Great service (minus 1 employee that obviously doesn't want to be there or work-but the rest are great)!
Cashier notified us about a $20 coupon we were $3 shy of, so we got $3 worth of windshield washer fluid we were going to need. Had both parts we needed in stock and service qas excellent. We're going to make the Advance as our choice for parts.
Store is much nicer than the other local stores.
The staff is great... Knowledgeable and willing to make sure you get the right product not the easiest. The staff will answer every question and if their not sure they will make sure. The staff will come out to ur vehicle and check whatever it is you are asking about.I would give them a A+++ if I could the managers to the everyday employee work the same week day staff and weekend staff are all the same very helpful.
I've been here a few times, and the selection is good, the store is clean, and the staff is friendly. I've been in here several times for windshield wipers, and the staff always offer to put them on for me, which is AWESOME (it always takes me a few minutes to figure out what goes where, but these folks can do it really quickly). I really appreciate their good service.
