Went in on a cold Saturday morning and not only did the owner give me a great price for a great battery, he also helped with the replacement. Definitely a go to place if you’re in the area and in need of a car battery.
Both my sons had batteries replaced here. Excellent price and service. Tested the old, removed and replaced and handled getting rid of old battery. Very quick service. Worth the drive down from the Poconos.
All the auto stores wanted $200 + for a new battery for my car, a group 51R battery. I went to Bob and my new battery was $80, a brand new, Deka blemished battery. Cold Cranking Amps on all auto store batteries are rated for 450-500. The one I got from Bob measured 752 on the meter. My go to guy from now on!
My car battery died, when we took it out to charge it, the battery was swollen. Called everywhere I could, this was the best options in price, was available and had my car in and out in 5 minutes. Needed a battery for the car. Called Kemmerer’s and was in and out in 1/2 hour with a new battery. Have purchased car batteries, a boat battery and one for the 4-wheeler now. I will always call Bob when there is a battery need…wonder if he carries AA/AAA 🤔. 😁

Initially, I called Mr. Kemmerer's business because of his highly competitive pricing. I found his customer service to be even more impressive! I definitely recommend this business!
The gps directions will take you either a little past it or short of it depending on which direction you are coming from. I will post two pictures to help with location. There is a pretty nice brown building on the road with a small sign over another that says deka batteries/ hillview farms, it's easy to miss. Facing the brown building infront there is a driveway up the right side. As you come up the driveway you will sign another sign for Deka batteries and a phone number and an arrow that tells you to turn right. The door is on the opposite side of the building from that sign. You should between two red buildings. The right one housing tractors and the like. I would suggest calling the number found on the sign or Google and let them know you are there as they might be tending to others things on the farm as it is not a traditional store. The two gentlemen offered me help plenty of time and we're very polite. The batteries offered are quite cheaper to the autozones and like stores around. They offer a 1 year replacement on the batteries. Thank you Deka. And thanks to the gentlemen who helped me.
My suggestion is to take a working phone along as I'm pretty sure no one is typically at the store. Was there earlier today and the door was locked. I'll see if I can make my way out there again. The house and property deserve 5 stars! They're beautiful
