If I could leave 0 stars i would. I sat on the scale for every bit of 25 minutes only to see the same vehicles the we're 25 mins in front of me still waiting to check out. Unless you like wasting your day sitting at the scrap yard id suggest anywhere else. I left my check out ticket there and left.
Yesterday was the second time in a row that I took a good scrap load to this place and they devalued it by calling it unprepared shear.
Meaning it only paid $0.06 per pound.
The load I took in was all heavy steal and did not have any plastic or other non-metallic items attached.
Every time I leave this place I feel like I got ripped off as opposed to other places on Neville Island.
They have a nice setup that’s easily accessible. They often help me separate my metals and help me unload my scrap. I usually go there with multiple different metals to recycle and they never seem to mind helping me weight each different kind. The guys in the yard are friendly as well as the office staff. Going there for over 2 years now would highly recommend them for your metal recycling needs.
