Literally the WORST! Every time I go there (which isn’t often) someone there is insanely rude. I dont understand how someone can start their day at 10:00 AM with such a negative attitude. Won’t be going back! Following up to your response. It’s freezing out. And I had one bag in my hand asking if a worker of yours could throw it in side for me…just right inside the door.. (I didn’t ask to come in not once?) and I would go into the hallmark store next door. To keep my baby warm. She was so arrogant. Could’ve had a better attitude. Hope she has a pleasant day WORKING! That’s not the first time I’ve had a bad experience there. ? Very unfortunate! Also it was 9:51. Not 9:30…

The prices are CRAZY affordable!! The clothes are cute! Staff is soo friendly! I shop here for my newborn!!! ❤️❤️

First off staff are so nice and welcoming. It’s very organized by size and color. This makes it so easy to shop. Love this place and the prices.

Great selection of items for my granddaughters for fall/winter. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clothing was cute and affordable, two of my favorite things!

I took a bin of clothes in 2 weeks ago and complete rip off. $46.50 and had clothes with tags, never worn sneakers, etc. It’s not about the money but they destroyed the bin of nicely folded clothes when they gave half back. I brought in 8 Halloween costumes and they took some parts of the costumes and left me with half costumes. I highly recommend Just Between Friends consignment as I had been doing for years if you wish to sell new or slightly worn clothes! Thought I would try something new but so not worth it. Disgusted they would take the Halloween costumes apart for pieces when they were in original packaging, and hung up with all the pieces and parts!

Very organized place. Had a really good varity of clothes from new born to toddlers. Even have shoes, boots and a few toys to look thru. Also havr used couch, bassinet, highchair. We were able to get our 1 yr old grandson his winter clothes. Now we have to go back with other daughter to get those 2 grandsons winter attire. With price these days, we're all willing to buy 2nd hand clothes. The kids grow so fast that they don't wear them out.

Today was my first time shopping here, and I came across a number of cute newborn boy outfits. The employees were nice. I will most certainly be back soon!

Amazing value for clothes that you would never know are consignment. Fair prices when selling to them as well. Also, they weirdly get toys and board games you would never expect. My daughter and I have walked out of here with full Lego sets at a great discount.

Edit: I am changing my review from 1 to 3 stars. Dana reached out and apologized and tried to make things right. I appreciate her looking for feedback and actively listening to my concerns I went to sell clothes for the first time there and won’t go back. The woman who spoke to me was extremely condescending. I was told they refused to look at anything that was inside out and everything had to be nicely folded and organized. I had a much better experience in the Exton location

What a great store! The staff were delightful and very helpful. Not only did I get everything I needed but I also sold a few items for some extra money. Thanks so much to the wonderful people at Once Upon A Child. I'll definitely be back soon.

I used to like buying and selling here. I bought 2 bins of clothes in a few pairs of sneakers and 2 pair that were new. All of the clothing was given back. The reasons given were pajama sets without matches (understandable), outdated clothing styles (2t clothes brought new that are outdated is odd, when the child is currently 3), pilling and stains (I thoroughly checked through all items before I left home and removed all items that were pilled or stained. Items were freshly laundered and folded). I think the reasons given were probably excuses because they were short staffed and didn't have time to thoroughly check the items. So it was easier to take the new shoes and send everything else back with me. The issue is waiting an hr plus to basically take everything back home. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I used to leave with nothing when selling here and they had more staff to check the items. A great place to buy, nolonger a great place to sell in my opinion.

My wife shopped here frequently but a most recent trip on this past Labor Day has changed her mind Into ever going back. She went to sell clothes and was told with an attitude by the owner himself the selling counter was closed. We had some eagles clothing for a toddler that someone needed that the store didn’t have and my wife being her told the women she would give her the jacket for free (the jacket that they didn’t want to buy) and the owner decided to be a little aggressive towards her for something that wasn’t a big deal. not everything is about money. He the owner could’ve have gone about it in a completely more positive way especially towards a women just helping someone. She was a little shaken after the experience and will no longer return and for the owner do better. Be respectful and Watch how you speak to women you never know who there significant others could be.

I am never one to write a review but this really upset me. I went to the store today to sell and buy which I have done for three years now. Due to it being a holiday they were not buying which is fine when I asked the man who I assume is the owner I have never seen there before if they are buying anything because I saw large items by the sale table he asked what I had I said clothes and a large box of wipes never opened. He said he would take the wipes and offered me $8 for a $50 box of wipes because he said they sell things at 50% off. I left it on the table while I did my shopping when I heard a mom ask her husband if they had any eagles items in a toddler size he said no. I had multiple eagles items in my car that looked like would fit him I in NO WAY yelled was loud I quietly offered her an eagles hoodie she offered me money and I turned it down I just wanted to do a nice thing since I just wanted the clothes gone and if I would sell it to this store I would have gotten a buck or two. I never intended to give it to her in the store I walked to my car to get it and was going to give it to her outside. When i looked over the owner was standing at the door with his arms folded and told me he pays 7k in rent they are not good will they are a business how I shouldn’t have done it and do not give it to her in the store people can’t just be here giving out their stuff that could be dirty and damaged because they didn’t buy it. Which keep in mind he never looked at because they were not buying and on top of it the item I was giving her I bought FROM THEM two months before and my son never wore was hung up in a non smoke no pet home so literally as it was from them. I apologized I said I ment no harm I saw nothing was in his size and was just trying to be kind. I even offered to leave my $50 wipes to make up for it because I didn’t want an issue because I have always shopped there but he kept going on very aggressively and made me so uncomfortable I was so upset I just went home. I understand it is a business and if he would have just asked me not to do it again I would have completely understood but the way he went about it even the woman said how mean and nasty he was and was upset how he handled it. I will never go back.

Most of the negative reviews are people butthurt that they won’t accept their dingy clothes. I for one am glad they only buy high quality stuff and are able to sell it for a reasonable price. Got a lot of good stuff from this store and the employees are super nice. Highly recommend.

Took 2 bins of clothing, 2 full unopened boxes of diapers both worth over $40 as well as a small pack of diapers and a sleeve of diapers and got less than $40. If you are going there to buy, it’s a great store… if you are going to sell, don’t waste your time it’s a rip off, you could get more selling at a yard sale or on facebook marketplace.

I recently purchased the Uppababy stroller from Once Upon A Child that I saw on their instagram site, all the women at the store were beyond helpful and made the experience so great, I am a new grandmom to be and get very excited about every purchase but this one was a steal and in great condition. All their stuff ranging from everything you could every need is in amazing shape, they are very particular with their merchandise, which is great for the buyers. Thank you again ladies for being excited with me and helping me through this exciting time.

Love this store! I just went in recently and had the best experience with Kristin who was so friendly and helpful. I was looking for specific items and she actually showed me where they were. She was going above and beyond for all the customers in there. She is definitely the light this store needed. Extremely knowledgeable about everything. I will 100% be returning because of her!

I shop here frequently and wasn’t going to leave my review but I’ve seen a few with similar experiences to mine so I’m deciding to share. I also had clothes rejected due to “smelling like smoke”, I found this very offensive because I’m not a smoker so that was odd to me after my bin “was missed for the day” and I had to call and see what happened a few minutes before the store closed. I had my mom bring the same clothes back the same day we picked the bin up and they took the whole bin. My mom is white and I am a person of color. I will no longer sell here or recommend this store.

I’ve shopped this location several times now, and will continue to do so. Staff has always been very friendly! You can get good deals, but you REALLY have to go looking for them…at least with the baby boy clothes. I do feel the prices on a lot of the baby boy clothes are too high for being secondhand. I have read the argument that their prices come from a computer, but I have seen identical items on the rack for different prices. The explanation can’t be that one was more worn than the other because I personally purchased the cheaper tag price which was a brand new romper over the more expensive already worn item. There is also a fairly decent selection of the baby boy clothes with more fading than I’d personally be willing to purchase. As for the older girls sizes, I have found really good quality clothes for more reasonable prices. For that reason alone I will continue shopping at this location.

I came here a few times to sell clothes that my 4 year old can no longer wear. I dress my daughter in high quality items and designer but when I get there they offer me little to nothing. As a woman of color, black to to be exact I feel like this has a lot to do with it cause when it comes to their white customers they pay them the maximum amount and I find that behavior very unacceptable and distasteful

I absolutely love this location! I've been coming here for nearly two years, even before my son was born. They consistently accept most, if not all, of the clothes I bring in, which I always wash, iron, and fold beforehand. I use the buyback credit to refresh my wardrobe each season, and I visit quarterly for new finds. They also have a great selection of toys and baby gear. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I love finding quality brands like Janie & Jack, GAP, and Ralph Lauren. Highly recommend!

I am a person of color. I brought in a bag of clothes they didn't review them cause it "smelled like smoke". There was not one scent of smoke on them. I had my white friend bring the same clothes in the same condition I left them in the next day and they gave her $30 for the clothes. I will no longer do business with this place because of their apparent racism.

I love this store! The staff was delightful and kindly helped answer all my questions about being a first time seller. The pricing was fair and I was in and out quickly!! The shopping was so great- so many top of the line items and fantastic prices. I will be going back for all my kids needs, and so will my friends! Thank you!

Super organized and lots of cute options in great conditions. Unfortunately I felt they were way overpriced. A single shirt cost what you would pay for in store brand new. You may find very few good price items but I walked out with nothing despite loving so many options. I'm looking for a good deal if it is a used item. Employees greeted us right away, items were labeled by size, and they are fully stocked. Not good for low budget unless your looking for a quick outfit or the prices fit a higher budget.
