I must say I was worried, the reviews was alarming but I just had to trust Road Runner the Broker. the price was very reasonable, enough to be scared" but I put it in God's hands. my car shipped from New York, to Florida Starway Logistic Office has very poor communication and they definitely need to work on that however, I got My driver"" Zurab"" I must say much respect to him, he was amazing and kept me updated the entire time despite having to break down stuck in South Carolina for the whole weekend, he still communicated with me showing his sympathy and assuring me as soon as his truck is fixed he will have my car home and safe. It's because of him I gave this Five stars ratings

Starway was dispatched to pick up my car. The estimated delivery was busted by 72+ hours with 0 communication to the customer from Starway. I had to reach out to Starway myself and was told numerous conflicting delivery windows. I sat around all day on the delivery day just waiting already 3 days late. Additionally, Starway was supposed to deliver to my door. But instead I had to meet the driver at a random address off the interstate at 10pm. The driver claimed he had regulations on small streets. This was not communicated until an hour before delivery. 0/5 stars

They were scheduled to pick up my cars on a Monday and didn’t pick them up until Friday. They didn’t communicate with me about it. I had to call them everyday. On the bright side, my cars were delivered intact with no extra mileage on them. After the driver picked up the cars, he kept us in the loop and delivered only 5 days later which is pretty good for a California to New York drive. Would I use them again…? Probably not.

CONSUMER BEWARE!!!!! This company is one of the most disorganized I have seen. They barely speak English. Don’t answer their phone. Don’t call back. List goes on. I wanted to inform the driver that their truck would not fit in my area. He just proceeded in stating 6pm yes. Called the company and some women answered didn’t understand anything I said as well. If you value communication and transparency this company is not it.

Okay, so I booked with RoadRunner (Starway picked up the car) at the last minute and overall, everything was fine, the price I paid was actually cheaper than it would have cost me to drive. Yes, the reviews here are terrible, but I feel like it's important to know what you are paying for. Roadrunner sold the load to Starway, Starway aggregates loads, and assigns a driver. It would have been nice for Starway to give a bit more of a heads up on when the car would be picked up (it was a day late and then I got one hour's notice) The Starway car hauler is massive. The tractor is much longer than a standard tractor trailer and that limits where they can get in. Bottom line, at pickup, we had to meet him about 4 miles from our house to drop off the car. Yes, it would have been nice to have more than 1 hour's notice that the driver was on his way, but he did wait 3 hours for me to drop off my car (which I really appreciate). They are getting 4 stars because from the moment my car was about to be picked up until it was delivered, the driver answered my texts and gave me updates. All this while the dude had to run everything through google translate. Car arrived just as I had dropped it off and in 7 days with a coast to coast transit. Getting my car was exactly the same, one hour's notice, but this time he was able to get all the way to the house. I've never shipped a car before, and based on this experience, I would ship again and I wouldn't be scared of Starway, I would just book a little earlier and make sure I understood the timelines involved.

I was worried, like many about the reviews but I just had my car shipped from Tennessee, to California and no issues here. The broker (Pride) did originally promise, a price, and then raise that price but I believe that is more so for their own profit. I had no issues with Starway Logistic. They called to let me know they got the order and when the driver left for the pickup. My driver Zurab was amazing and kept me updated the entire time (picking up the car and dropping it off). My car got there (in the same condition it was picked up in) within four days! I had to have family handle the the pickup and drop off for me and they had no complaints.

Went through safeeds as my broker and was assigned to starway logistics. At first was super hesitant after reading the reviews. I started to worry if my car would be damaged or how long it was going to take to really get my car. Well it all was pretty much a breeze. Was picked up on time and dropped off a day later than the estimation. I had to ask for the drivers number but once I had it I could call the driver and get updated on his whereabouts which I appreciated. Overall, a great experience that put my nerves to rest.

*DO NOT USE* This carrier was assigned to me by another company who set the price for the delivery. Upon delivery, Starway Logistic stated the price was different (higher than the initial) and wouldn't release my car unless I paid the extra amount. They wanted cash or other untraceable form of currency. I got my car and contacted the company who clarified the initial price was correct. Now I'm waiting to hear back from Starway Logistic about my refund. This is some shady business and recommend FBI to investigate.

My car was picked up in Sacramento, Cali,on 04/07/2023 with a est. Delivery Date of 04/14/2023 to NY. My car has not arrived. I was told on 4/14/23 that due to a delay, my would be delivered on Monday 4/17/23. The 17th and 18th came and my car was NOT DELIVERED. I contacted the brooker who arranged this transport (Mercury Transport) as well as Starway office and the driver lied and said the car was delivered, when in fact it wasn't. Then the company proceeds to say the truck broke down in Pennsylvania with my car and it will be delivered on Friday 4/21/23. It is now Saturday 4/22/23, and I'm unable to reach the driver or office. The brooker company Mercury Transport is stating they're not responding to their request at all on tracking my car as well as other vehicles. I contacted my GPS company and the locator seems to be turned off. I am now reporting my car stolen to the authorities and The BBB. DO NOT USE STARWAY LOGISTICS.

They did the work and the car was transported from point A to point B. What happened in the interim is anyone’s guess. Because I don’t have the photos to prove it, I cannot make a big deal of it, but I am certain that the car was taken for a joy ride and may have been off roading- the dealer showed me the car going on the truck clean as a whistle. When it came off, there was mud all over the wheels and mud stains all over the car. Not to mention that the mileage was about 30 miles over what it was when it was first put on the truck for delivery. I can only guess about what happened, but in short I would never use this company again!

Do NOT use this company!!!!! In August they shipped my truck from California to Florida. We're still suffering the consequences. What was quoted as 3 days turned out to be 12 days. Something very suspicious went down obviously. Now to find from the body shop, the entire roof of my new truck was replaced along with the windshield. Guess that's why it took 12 days. And to top it off, they didn't do it properly and it's leaking. Had they done it properly, we may have never known. This isn't even everything that happened just the start and finish. The order number was R523085

I would give this company 0 stars and a lawsuit!! They practically stole my car, held it hostage, and then tried to extort me for $500 over my signed contract price!! They had my car in their “storage” for over 2 weeks and when I called the police they finally decided to say they would deliver my car. For another 2 weeks they kept saying “we will deliver tomorrow” and after over 25 days they finally delivered my car. They are working with the broker to scam people so beware when booking with them.

Wanted to give zero stars. These people are CROOKS AND COMMON THIEVES!!! They changed the price on me and increased by $900. They picked up my cars two days late and the pickup driver was driving my car around for 35 mins before loading it. I had apple air tags so I could see where they were going. They also stole everything from all 3 of the cars I transported and damaged my BMWs. Stole parts from one of them. Don’t let dispatchers send you quotes for them. They are the worst. I’ve paid less and had better drivers who didn’t damage, drive, or steal from my cars. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! These low-life bums will steal whatever they can. Stairway is a joke.

If you hire a shipping company and they tell you that Starway is their carrier, immediately demand another carrier. This company is awful. I shipped my car from New York to Arizona and every day i called to ask for tracking, they claimed it was “on the way”. It wasn’t until i demanded to speak to the driver that i found out my car sat in a lot in Pennsylvania for 2 weeks and hadn’t even been picked up. My car was then delayed an entire week and Starway management was rude, disrespectful and absolutely no help. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL. The driver they used also tried to drop my car of TWENTY MILES away from my drop off location. I explained that I could not get there if he HAS MY CAR and then he told me “just Uber” and I asked if Starway was going to pay for it and he laughed. This company is ran terribly and should be bought out and turned into telemarketers

Terrible...do not use! Nothing what I signed up for. Their "tracking" never worked, had to track down the driver on my own through a previous driver. When I finally reached the driver he told me he would be arriving on Monday or Tuesday. I took off of work to he available. He arrived on Wednesday...at dusk. Decided to off load my vehicle in the middle of a busy street when I had an adjacent empty parking lot available. My car arrived with four brand new tires and over $3000 worth of body work done..ready to go...Not! As the driver drove my vehicle off of the transport he hit the road and proceeded to drive...as I watched my right front tire sink to the rim. Driver looked at me and couldn't care less about what happened. Had to recruit two people to help stop traffic so I could get to the side safely and check my tire. Had some help from a friend, inflated the tire until morning. Next day had to go purchase a new tire. Upon arriving to pick up my car mechanic had left rear tire off as well. Upon further inspection I was told there was a leak in sidewall of tire, unrepairable...after looking closer I noticed a scrape under rear left passenger door...leading into tire wheel well which damaged tire. My car did not leave NY in this condition. Have pictures on both ends ...they had one picture. Their picture showed looking forward of damage...how convenient. Bottom line...had to purchase four new tires having all wheel drive, so not to damage drive train. After exhausting all resources with no one getting back to me and taking responsibility, Starway, I have decided to go forward legally. I have given them every option...all I am asking for is for reimbursement of new tire. I don't have time have bodywork done, especially after just having everything done prior to transport. Their insurance deductibles are so high that my tire reimbursement wouldn't even be covered. That says volumes about this company. Do your research....terrible customer service and contact...none !! They have denied any damage.... Of course they do...thing is I have all of the proof. Not done !

Prior to filing this complaint, two emails and 4 phone calls were made with no response. On May 20, 2022, we picked up our car at Starway Logistic (USDOT 2349082 /MC 804031) located at East M-Y Lane in Morrisville, PA. When we arrived, we were told the car was located in another lot which was 20 minutes away. We waited 1 ½ hours for the car to be relocated to the lot where we were. It is likely the driver who transported the car to us was aware that something was seriously wrong with the car but never told us. Immediately after getting behind the wheel, I felt that something was wrong with the steering. As I tried to move from the middle lane to the right lane, the car spun out of control doing a 360 degree spin in busy traffic. Miraculously, no other car struck me. Police responded and assisted us in getting the car off the highway where we contacted a tow company who took it to a repair shop. The mechanic who repaired the car stated that the rear lateral arms were bent. When we told him the car was transported by a car carrier, he automatically surmised that the car was erroneously tied down by the lateral arms which bent as the car traveled north. There is no doubt that the driver who drove the car from one lot to the other where we were waiting had to realize that something was seriously wrong with the steering. Regrettably, he chose to remain silent thus gravely endangering my life. . The amount we have paid and are out of pocket is $874.48 which represents repair, towing (receipts attached) and gas/tolls expense. The contract called for the car to be delivered to our home in NY, but we were forced to drive 2 ½ hours to PA. Although I would like to receive reimbursement for my out-of-pocket expense, my main goal is to report Starway Logistic and perhaps prevent a similar situation where the outcome could be much more serious. This is a corrupt company who refuses to accept responsibility, and they should be held accountable.

I had the owner transporting my vehicle cross country and he did a great job, very communitive and went out of his way to make sure I was happy, and showed me how to use everything. My car is now safely in my garage.

If you EVER get sent to these people thru a broker, CANCEL IMMEDIATELY. Car showed up a week late for no other reason than the driver was out picking up other cars. Driver then shows up and claims I need a new battery because the vehicle had to be jumpstarted to get off the truck...in actuality, the car hadn't been started in 2 weeks since he picked it up, so the car just needed to run for a while. They give good rates but for the wait time it's worth it to book with someone else. Could have paid $400 more to someone else and gotten it faster instead of the extra $550 I paid in rental car charges.

Zero stars! Signed up with Road Runner and they contracted these guys to take my car from Cali to NJ, they was 2 days late picking up my car and now over a week late dropping my car off. I had to harass both road runner and these guys to even get a call back. They said they would drop my car off on Monday then Thursday and still haven’t dropped it off now it’s Saturday. At this point I gonna have to go to the police. Avoid signing up with companies who contracts with these guys.

No contact after they picked up my car. The drop off date was the 26th. Today is the 29th. I do not know what state my car is in or when I will receive it. If they pick up your car make backup plans! I recommend reporting them to the department of transportation. Transport companies are supposed to communicate more about delivery.

I got stationed in California and my car was back at home with my wife in New York. I had gotten a call from them saying I needed to pay with my card and I need to put the money on my account so they can take it out. They were planning on withdrawing the money from my account without notifying me but luckily I hadn’t transferred it yet. That was the first sketchy sign. When it came time for pickup (5/18/21), the guy came at 9 PM and just loaded the car up on the trailer no questions asked. Second sign of sketchiness. I got a call a week later (5/25/21) saying my car was gonna be dropped off on that day from 5-8 and he told me I had to pay cash after I had told them I was paying card, he tells me he only takes cash because he is the truck driver, whatever. The guy later calls me at around 6 PM and tells me he’s gonna be here at 9 PM, no problem. The driver sends me a location which was a little walk away from my apartment complex in a parking lot, we get there and the driver is taking pictures of the car to verify it had arrived. The driver didn’t allow us any access to the car until he was finished and until he received his payment, he stuck his hand out and just said “payment,” counted the cash, gave us the keys and hopped in his truck and skated. By the time he was gone we hadn’t even started the car yet. When my wife started the car it had sounded like a motorboat which was very odd because the car sounded nothing like this before it left New York. We thought it was just a result from the car being off for a week so we let it run a little longer before driving it. The car did not sound any different no matter how long we waited. We had come to the conclusion that the car had a hole in the exhaust or something minuscule, so we were just going to fix it. We took it to a shop where they lifted the car up and it was missing the entire exhaust system! This place had stolen our exhaust system out of our car and they claim they know nothing about it. Do not schedule, they are very unprofessional and thieves. Worst service I’ve ever gotten, go with the more expensive car shipping company and save yourself this headache. Pay the expensive price to get the car shipped instead of paying cheap shipment and expensive repairs

Be very careful of this company. No communication after car is picked up. I text, called, emailed and nothing. I text that I was going to contact the police and only then did they say it was going to arrive in 3 days. I asked for the drivers number and no response. I followed up and no response. I had them transport my new Range Rover which is a $100k+ car and it's been a very scary experience.

This company was subcontracted by AAA moving group to move my car from MD to Seattle, WA. It was supposed to be picked up October 1 and in Seattle on October 9. A Russian mob truck driver shows up on October 5th after no contact whatsoever to pick up my car. It is now the 16th of October and I have no car. There has been zero contact with this company. Every phone call goes only to voicemail. Not even AAA can tell me where my car is. The only contact was with the Russian driver who said he was somewhere in Wyoming and cannot tell me when he will arrive. I would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY OR ANYONE WHO CONTRACTS TO THEM.

I don’t know how everyone has horror stories about this company. Maybe they’re now under new ownership but the experience I had with these guys was pretty good. I shipped my car from Long Island, NY to California in an open trailer and there was absolutely 0 damage to my vehicle. The guy who picked my car up took a very detailed inspection of my car and then sent me the findings of that inspection via email so I could have a record of it. Yes, he and the driver that dropped my vehicle off we’re Russian but aside from a minor language barrier the service was great. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pick up and drop off dates weren’t as I had requested. My car was actually picked up the day before I asked and dropped off 2 days before I had asked (a total of 6 days to make it across the country). Luckily that wasn’t an issue for me and it all worked out. Also, these guys asked for cash on delivery as oppose to the check I was told would be okay by the shipping contractor. I can totally understand that though, once these guys are gone they don’t have time to hassle with a bounced check. Overall I would recommend using their service IF you’re flexible on delivery dates (i.e. you have people you know and trust at the drop off location if you can’t be there) Only other note I can add is that the guy that picked my vehicle up said he would be at my house around 5 but didn’t get there until 9. I’m not holding this against him though. There were flurries on this day and he had went back and forth from PA to NYC to Long Island and back a couple times that day already. Definitely a hard job to handle. So like I said, if you’re flexible on pick up and delivery these guys are able to get your car from point a to point b.

Fast delivery (2 days) after been picked up in Columbus, OH and heading to Lakewood, WA . My dad said they were friendly, and took detailed information about the car. Got my car in the same condition it was shipped in from Columbus. The only downside was they dropped the car in the middle road, which was quite odd to me, but guess normal for them. I would ship with them again since we are a military family, and always moving.

These people are crooks and the broker - Ship it Quick, LLC aren't much better. I could never get an accurate statues update just that it would be delivered on the weekend. When I did get someone on the phone David was very rude and kept talking over me. They delivered the car one day later than promised so I had to ask someone else to wait for the car while I was at work. The driver dropped the car off and performed no inspection. I asked the person to inspect the car and they sent me pics with my top rack damaged.Its minor so you would think they'd take care of it but no. I called the driver right away to notify him and he said he received it like that and to send him pictures, he never reported it to the company. I called immediately to file a claim and got the run around for 2 weeks. I called the broker first because they do business with the sleezy company and the were no help. I left several messages for Emma and never received calls backed. When I did get her on the phone, she wasnt much help. After talking to Saba, Tim and Alva for two weeks with promises of call backs the company says because it was signed for they cant do anything, when you can clearly see its not in the same condition as when it was picked up. I'm furious!!! I could have went with a cheaper company that has a reputation for damaging cars if my car was going to arrive this way, but the rep who's name I think is Chris from Ship it Quick assured me he had quality carriers and a rep to protect If you can avoid either of these companies do so and drive your car where it needs to be. i truly regret choosing this broker because they work with this carrier. Now I have to pay for something that should have been covered as part of the insurance included in the $1300 I had to pay these companies. If they look at the before pictures and bill of lading, they can clearly see no damage was done to the top rack when it was picked up. If i could rate 0 stars I would, I'm very disappointed.

Damaged my car with scratches on my mirror and tore the under carriage of my vehicle on top of lowest of low customer service run by a bunch of Russian goons. (Read story below) I had a jaguar shipped brand new, maybe about 2 weeks purchased before I shipped the car with this company. I moved from NY to CA. The estimated ship date was supposed to be the 10th of November picked up on the 1st of November. An update was not given to me about a lag of time of when I was supposed to receive my car. Call after call it was November 12 still no update on my car and was unable to reach this company. I called shipacardirect which is the company that found this company to pick my car up and told them if I don't hear anything about my car in about 24 hours I will call the cops and report it lost or stolen. Finally someone reached out to me from the company Starway to tell me that the first truck was not able to take my car and now they are delayed because the first truck broke down. I asked for proof and they were unable to provide proof and calls later they just kept hanging up on me because they wouldn't want to hear me ask questions about when I will receive my car. Again I was unable to speak to them for days call after call and then I finally received a call from the driver on November 16 saying he is enroute with my car and currently in Texas. His name was George. Finally I received my car on November 19 I was very happy to see my car was still in there hands and still from far had everything in tact. While backing up the car off the trailer I saw the clearance was low and told George that the car needs to be positioned differently. He claims he does this everyday and nothing needs to be done. As he revved my new car backwards I saw and heard a scraping noise on the undercarriage. When the car was taken off I saw that he scraped the bottom undercarriage and removed a protective cover off the bottom and damaged my bumper. I demanded he call his boss and he said no and tried to put the car back onto the trailer as I asked for some compensation or cheaper price because of the damages. He basic tried to put the car back onto the trailer and run away with my car until I called the cops. They came on scene very quickly thank God. Damages were assessed and also I saw my driver rear view mirror was severely scratched on the glass. He called his boss and all his boss kept saying was to pay up or else he will take the car to a storage facility which I will have to pay for everyday it's there. I had the money so I paid because the issue was just the damages really and how we were going to fix them. But luckily Everything was accounted for prior to pick up because ship a car direct makes you take before pictures for this exact reason luckily I have all the pictures taken with gps location on via their app so everything was in tact and ready to push to my insurance. I gave a month window for Starway to respond to paying my car via my own email and ship a car direct trying to contact them with no avail. They haven't responded and I gave them sometime before I wrote this review just in case they responded and wanted to deal with the damages maybe we could have worked something out before I use my insurance to go after their's. But they haven't responded so I'm pushing it up the chain now. So BBB and my insurance vs there insurance here we go. The damages also cost a total of approx $2500.
