Zach and the team are Classic Coachwork were awesome. They were referred to me by a Subaru Dealership. I had an issue with my door seal not closing all of the way and the took care of my issue within 10 minutes. Highly recommend them for any of your auto body needs.
We've had excellent service from the Collegeville location several times in the past, but Steve, the manager, just permanently lost our business.
We had an appointment for repair work on Jan 12, but when I called to confirm that on the 7th, I was told they did not have the parts yet and it would take 2 weeks to get them. So we rescheduled for drop off on Jan 23, with work beginning on Jan 26. I confirmed the second appointment with Zack on the phone 2 days beforehand.
When I arrived at the shop this morning, Steve said they didn't have the parts and didn't understand why I was there. He complained about the State Farm estimate calling for after market parts and not paying for new parts. He has had the insurance estimate for 2 months, and this was a known issue. No one ever called me for a discussion of what I was willing to pay for out of pocket or whether new vs used parts were a deal breaker for me. Classic Coachworks just let the problem fester and then Steve had a temper tantrum when I showed up for a scheduled and confirmed appointment. I warned him that he was about to lose a customer of many, many years, and he sent me away.
A little bit of communication goes a long way, and this is a lesson that Steve desperately needs!

Glad to see Steve acknowledge internal communication issue in his response. He completely refused to even talk with Zack regarding his communications and commitments with me. And Zack did not stick up for those commitments when Steve told me to leave. Steve very clearly told me to take my business elsewhere, despite me trying to work with them for over 6 weeks. I warned Steve that his failure to treat me with respect meant that he was *choosing* to end our business relationship, and he told me to leave. I do not call that professional behavior. And he couldn't even be bothered to spell my name correctly in his response.
I was in an accident on the PA Turnpike in mid October. The driver behind me slammed into me so hard that the back wheel practically came off of my Honda Pilot. There was a lot of other damage to the rear of my vehicle, and I thought for sure it would be totaled. I didn't want this because I still owed more on the car than I would've gotten from the insurance company. We had the car towed to Steve at Classic Coachwork and explained the dilemma. He told us he'd do his best to not total it, and he came through! Not only did he not allow insurance to total the car, he also fought tooth and nail with the other party's insurance company when they tried to make him put used parts on my vehicle. He made sure I got a rental vehicle when the company said they had none, and he fought for us every step of the way. Thanks to nonsense from the other insurance company, it took a long time for my car to be finished, but when I finally got it back not only did it look brand new and was even detailed beautifully.
I cannot adequately express my gratitude to Steve and the guys at Classic Coachworks! They take pride in their work, fight for their customers, and ensure your vehicle is in perfect condition when they are done! It is difficult to find a body shop and mechanic you can trust, but that is exactly what we found here! We will continue to use Classic Coachworks for all of our vehicles!
The best body shop I’ve ever used. Communicative, helpful, knowledgeable on insurance, parts, and Volkswagen specific information. It was great knowing they were doing right by my car.
unfortunately I have been in a few accidents before, but the manager Steve was very accommodating. He ensured everything would be taken care of and my Supra GR was returned in assembly line, factory condition. He sure as hell delivered exactly what he said to me. very clean facility. very straight to the point. such a stand up gentleman. I have definitely recommended this place to everyone who has been in an accident/situation like mine. the world needs more men with character like Steve.
Hit a deer in my 2020 WRX. Insurance billed aftermarket/used parts, but these guys went above and beyond to get the right body panels for my car. Insanely fast turnaround and great communication from the employees always keeping you updated on your car. Body panels are all aligned perfectly, and the paint job is pristine. Don’t mess around with others body shops.
Classic Coachwork is bar none a great collision company to handle all body work. If i could give them 10 stars I would. From the moment I walked in till the day I picked up my daughter's car I was treated with white glove service and the quality of the repair work was an top notch. If anyone needs and collision repair you only want to take your vehicle here. Steve and his team are amazing. I am 1000% satisfied.

I hit a deer with my brand-new 2025 Telluride SX Prestige—only 91 days old with 2,200 miles on it. The authorized State Farm shop said they couldn’t even look at it for over a month. A neighbor recommended Classic Coachwork, and I’m so glad he did.
I called Steve, and he had my car inspected that same week. Then came the insurance estimate—reconditioned and non-OEM parts for a brand-new vehicle! Really? After 37 years of paying premiums with no claims, I was shocked. My agent tried to push for OEM parts (just 3% more), but the adjuster wouldn’t budge.
Thankfully, Steve and Zach went above and beyond. They dealt with the insurance company and made it right. The work they did is absolutely amazing. Their attention to detail, communication, and genuine care for my vehicle were outstanding.

I uploaded photos of my door via their online "request repair" as well submitted an email. Within an hour, Steve gave me a call and told me what would be required. Steve did not rush the conversation and also provided some guidance as far as the insurance process.
Within a few days, I was setup to drop off my truck and receive a rental car.
Within 4-5 days, I received an update on a new door as well as a very thorough insurance claim update thru CCW.
Steve had my truck for 9 business days and what a transformation. The quality of workmanship that went into replacing my door, prepping and painting, aligning the panel gaps, reinstalling all the accessories, and blending surrounding areas is a testament to the true craftsman in that shop.
My truck was extremely clean inside and out at pickup as well.

We recently had our Volkswagen Taos get struck by a deer causing significant bodywork damage.
We called the dealership who recommended classic coach works as they are certified Volkswagen repair.
From the first call with CC, the whole experience was professional, seamless and effortless for ourselves. They communicated with the insurance and had everything sorted upon our arrival, they also have a good connection with enterprise so they picked us up promptly when we dropped the car off.
The work was completed after a week and we were extremely pleased with the results. You can not tell any damage was done and all parts replaced were certified VW products.
I would recommend Classic coach works to everyone. Really nice people and top tier honest work!

I had closed my garage door on my car and already received one estimate. Wanting to compare that one, I stopped in at Classic Coachwork in Collegeville for a second opinion.
Steve looked at the damage and said that it did not necessarily need to be painted. He cleaned the area for me, and it was almost as good as new. It is not perfect, but it is 90% better and I can live with the way it looks.
I was given the option to have the part pulled off, painted and looking brand new but I opted out. Steve was willing to do the work, if that is what I wanted. He was not turning away the job, but he was also not ripping me off.
I appreciate that he did not make me feel like a complete idiot, which is how I felt when I watched him clean and buff the area.

My experience was so smooth working with Steve at Classic Coachwork. I dropped off my VW Tiguan the day it was involved in an accident (T-boned), and Steve communicated directly with insurance for the entire process. Perfect quality! Classic Coachwork in Collegeville performed a flawless repair of my 2023 Camry after another driver rear-ended my car. The paint match and overall quality of the repair is excellent. Classic Coachwork did an amazing job repairing my Grand Cherokee after it was hit badly by an out of control driver. Had someone back into my front bumper, and I was worried it would be a complicated repair due to all the sensors with Subaru EyeSight. Was recommended here by my Subaru, dropped it off off, and picked it up looking better than I left it! And the repairs were done with Subaru parts, despite insurance pushing for after market parts.
I recently had my car repaired by Classic Coachwork in Collegeville and I couldn't be happier. Steve did a fantastic job making sure that I was taken care of. The insurance company wanted to install a used door but Steve was sure to get me a brand new OEM door. Fitment is perfect and the paint work is second to none. I can't even tell there was any damage.

I called in as I was referred by my dealership (Wynn VW) to have some body work done after an accident. This was my first time having my car in for body work and the team at Classic Coachwork really went above and beyond to make it a great experience. Steve was friendly and straight-forward, got me setup over the phone. When I dropped the car off they had scheduled for someone to give me a lift to the local enterprise rental service to pick up a rental car (which I was later able to leave at the shop when picking up my car - very convenient not having to coordinate for a friend to come with me). And to top it off they finished a day ahead of what I was originally quoted. Would highly recommend to anyone and plan on recommending friends and family in the future.
These guys are fantastic. My Buddy had his subaru wrx restore to factory new. I had two mishaps, one with a guy rear ending me on 76 at a complete stop in traffic and a week later, I found my front bumper damaged at a target parking lot. These guys do it perfect. They only use genuine parts and they handle all the supplemental filings with the insurance guys. Plus the personally deal with the enterprise rental guys and you can drop off your rental right at the shop. Steve at Classic knows his stuff and pays great attention to details.
