George and his crew made it easy to breath new life into this chair that’s been in our family for 60+ years. We brought it to the studio and picked several fabric samples that were then mailed directly to our house so we could see them in our space. He walked us through our options, explaining how they would refresh this piece. A few months later, it was done!
The team over at Artisan Upholstery did a fantastic job recovering my living room bench! It used to be pleather (yuck!) And was shredding all over the place thanks to my active cat. Now we both love it! Their service was very personal, and when they had a fabric I liked already in stock, I got a nice discount on materials!

George did an amazing job recovering these modern club chairs. I selected a modern geometric upholstery fabric and he was very detail oriented in discussing his approach towards the seam locations and how the material pattern would layout. His work is excellent and I highly recommend him to all of my clients needing upholstery work.
I had a wonderful experience at Artisan Upholstry with several pieces they recently recovered. George is truly an ‘artisan’ in the way he works, yet he is patient and kind about explaining his process, pricing and the way that recovering works depending on how the fabric is printed. He helped me to salvage several pieces of white fabric upholstered furniture that I should have never chosen in a house with kids! I used both my own fabric and sourced through him- would definitely recommend the latter. He has a great selection and everything shipped quickly. His performance fabric has held up wonderfully and the whole process was easy due to his communication and customer service. I did have to wait several months to come up in his waitlist, but that gives you an idea of how well reputed he is. He ended up fitting me in earlier than anticipated and the end product was worth it! My new pieces look absolutely beautiful and I’m very happy with the quality. Overall, an excellent experience and even better product. I would highly recommend this business.

I had damage to mybonded leather sectional sofa. The only repair option was to reupholster the damaged back cushion. Because he could not determine the exact amount of work to be done until he saw the sofa in person, George gave me an estimate range based on only a couple of picture. The final cost came in right in the middle oh the estimate. The work was done in a couple of days and the sofa looks like new. He even had a couple of good suggestions to help prevent it from wearing again in the same spot. I highly recommend them.
The owner is an amazing craftsman! His work always exceeded my expectations and he was always a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Artisan Upholstery for any commercial, healthcare and/or residential needs...however large or small the project. Can't wait to work with them again!
We have had excellent experiences at the Artisan Uplolstery. The owner is very thorough, easy to work with and does superior work. He reviews options you have in restoring your item. His estimates are accurate and the work done in a timley manner. We hope he stays in the Hershey area. We will be dedicated customers. His last project was to repair a canoe seat using fabric in place of the original caining. Beautiful!
