Understaffed and poor customer service. Waited 30 min while the employee was on the phone to simply buy a pack of bulbs. 2 customers behind me and myself finally just left without buying anything.

Every time I have bought something at Advance Auto Parts , I have received tremendous service as well. This time , today, I 've received especially great service from 2 guys at the Hummelstown, Pennsylvania store - - Brad and Darrel ! These guys talked with me , pointed out to me the correct parts I needed for the job I had to do. They were both very professional and cordial . As long as I can help it , I will ALWAYS shop at Advanced Auto Parts for my car needs ! Thank you ! Thank you ! Thank you ! Marino Gaspari

Third time I have gone there and they gave me the wrong part now my car out till I can fine help to get me the right oil filter

Bradley provided outstanding service when helping me replace my car battery.

I went to AAP to have my battery tested. The associate tested it for me, explained the reading, and replaced the battery for me. The whole process was super quick and the associate was very nice and helpful.

Knowledgeable staff, had what I needed in stock, but plug and 90 were missing from battery, but other staff member knew where one from an older battery was, saved me from major install issues

I've been shopping here since I was able to drive, I have seen a lot of different employees and different managers over the years, some good, some not so much; but over the last month or two I've been extremely impressed. The level of service has gone through the roof. I don't know much about cars but the staff there has gone above and beyond to educate me and help me with my problems. I never have to search the store for my parts, I get greeted in the most friendly way and honestly they treat me and other customers I've seen like family. They didn't have parts able to order for me and The manager Jay went above and beyond to make sure I got my car fixed. He even helped explain how the parts work and how it affects my car.i was told although I may not have the ability to have your part, I still want to take care of you and help you solve your problems.he called several competitors until he found what I needed. It may have cost him 1 sale, but he's got all my business otherwise. He has earned a customer for life and ill be sure to recommend the Hummelstown store to anyone who asks

Went in to buy new windshield wiper blades and crystal and the gentleman that was working with her were extremely helpful and friendly and even helped me save money. I will be doing all my business here from now on. Thank you so much

Excellent service..Jamison assisted in testing my battery and when it seemed like something was wrong he went the extra mile to help confirm my problem..highly recommend them.

I went to the store Twice to have someone help me buy and install a car battery and both times I was told they could not help me. The sales associate was only willing to sell me the car battery and told me to take it to a mechanic to install it. Yet their advertisment says, they will install the car battery... that's a lie 😡 Customer service at this location is absolutely horrible. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!

Went in with at least 5 minutes before closing , the "open" sign is on and the kid says, "we already shut down the registers, you can't buy anything". Had to drive to Derry street Home Depot to get a 18mm socket. Super frustrating. Please shop owners, don't close the register down before you lock the door- at closing time!

Technician changed out my 1998 Jeep battery in the parking lot in the hot blazing July sun...very professional job...attention to detail, clean & neat...absolutely great service!

Employee at the store refuses to do any car battery testing or installation. 1 day "I can't spend that much time outside because I am the only one working". Next day, "our battery tester has been giving us problems, you can check another business up the road".

I'm thinking things they only will tell you the price of things that you put your Carton and it only brings up for ACDelco parts are expensive as hell nothing else will match your car I'm getting a price online for a GM part near the makers of the auto that I have not aftermarket brass price less than half price would take care of the same line of Parts but they do not have any that match my vehicle said something about the other vehicles assuming that it was another vehicle on my profile with my other vehicle I think they do in something Shady here it doesn't add up

Awesome clerks, provided great recommendations and insights to my vehicle. Been going to this location for the last couple years. They never disappoint, unless you drive a Ford. LOL

Huge shout out to George at this store. Was traveling to a Hershey bears game with a small bus full of teens (literally a small bus, a late 80's one at that) & starting having running issues. Dropped the crew off at the game & just barley made it to the parking lot of Advance. Popped the hood & found the alternator belt had shredded. Not only was George able to find us the correct belt, he lent us all the tools we needed & some card-board to lay on (was pouring rain) so that we could fix the bus right there. He then lent us a jump box to get started back up again. Huge thanks to George for going above & beyond so that we could get us and the teens back home without trouble.

Like most Advance auto parts stores, great customer service and had what I needed at a decent price. :) I'll be back as always!

Awesome place, needed a new alternator belt and looked up the one I needed and told the guy behind the counter what I needed and he went and found it. Only $25 too with a 3 year warranty.

Salespeople were very helpful and knowledgeable. Changed blades in car quickly and efficiently and have $10 gift cards for a dead battery I had in my car everybody I didn't purchase new one there.

Very helpful. Had to have battery replaced, I'm sure they were glad it was a nice day, since it's been cold and rainy.

Always good service and knowledge in the store...though I do find it easier and generally cheaper (as there are always online discounts) to order online and then pick up in store.

Had the parts I needed in stock and the gentleman that I worked with made sure I got the right parts, but was also able to help me with other questions and offer reasonable suggestions.

Had the tap I needed to fix a mounting hole along with a good selection of tap and die. Great touch up / paint selection with a lot of room throughout the store. I like this advance.

Very professional staff! Seemed happy to help in any way that they could. Even saved me over $20.00 by recommending a part of equal quality for less. Glad we have one in the Hershey Hummelstown area. 10/10 would go again.

Bought a special kind of antifreeze for my mom's car. I've never bought any type of antifreeze much less a special kind. Employees were very helpful and I didn't feel uncomfortable not knowing a whole lot!
