I had an excellent experience with Luciano’s Auto Shop. After hitting a deer, I had to go back and forth with my insurance company, which can be frustrating, but Luciano’s made the whole process so much easier. They worked directly with my insurance and kept everything moving without delays.
Communication was outstanding from start to finish. They kept me informed every step of the way, especially when they found additional damage underneath that wasn’t obvious at first. Everything was handled professionally and without surprises.
The turnaround time was very fast, and the quality of the work was incredible. My Jeep Renegade honestly looks like a brand new vehicle, you would never know it had been in an accident. The attention to detail really shows.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy shop that does high quality work and actually communicates with you, I highly recommend Luciano’s Auto Shop.
I have a little too much experience in hitting things at night and had always gone to JMA collision which is now Gerber collision and glass. I had a few negative experiences with them and wanted to pick something better. Luciano’s had great reviews and came recommended by a few friends and family and I couldn’t be more pleased.
Dave is very good at listening to the customers needs and keeping communication along the way. I had significant enough damage to be concerned of the outcome and that all disappeared after a few conversations with him. When my car was ready on time I should add, I was more than pleased and have never had a place match the paint as well as they did. Matching plastic bumpers to the rest of the car is a challenge for most places. Especially those like Gerber who just paint by numbers!
My car feels and drives like a new car, they washed and cleaned everything inside and out including the truck area and I felt like a customer should in my situation in feeling like they were working for me and not the insurance company which is where others also fail.
If I ever need a car put back together after an accident I will definitely be back and I will recommend Luciano’s to friends and family 100%.
Abysmal communication.
I hit a deer and my vehicle was deemed totaled (things happen). However, throughout the week+ process not once was I contacted for updates. I had to go in after speaking with insurance and let them know they were waiting on interior pics. I was told they’d call me w/ updates throughout the ordeal, yet again the entire time they were last to call me.
The final straw was the fact they sent my car away before I was even able to clear out all belongings! Insurance told me I had until Fri. Headed in Thurs to grab my things and car was gone. No call. Nothing.
Do yourself a favor and use Kos’s body shop in Gallitzin. Outstanding communication start to finish and they do great body work!
Someone ended up blowing through a stop sign and hitting my car and so my insurance referred this place as their number one shop. So I decided to choose them and let me tell you they did an excellent job fixing up my car. They even cleaned the inside. I would highly suggest going to these people. They're very friendly and very helpful. Thank you guys so much!
This is the 2nd time I have used their services. This is the garage that works with my insurance. They are fast and they do awesome work. The front office personal keeps in touch with you on the status of your vehicle. They make the whole experience easy. I would definitely use them again.
The “funny” thing is I ended up going to Luciano’s because State Farm didn’t list my Mazda dealer (where I bought the car) as an approved repair shop. Ended up Luciano’s quote was less than the dealer, and there work and service was EXCELLENT. Everybody I dealt with was professional and pleasant. They were honest with the scheduling and the length of time my repair would take. For what it’s worth my Mazda has a special Snowflake White Pearl Mica paint. I was a little Leary of anybody other than the dealer matching it. NO PROBLEM! Luciano’s matched it perfectly and all their work was impeccable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. Oh, and all my damage was to the rear bumper. When I picked up my car they had washed my entire car, including removing all my bug guts and tar from my front cowl!
Initial quote was fast. Was kept up to date about part availability. Repairs were completed on time / same day and they washed my car. Ray was professional and easy to work with. I didn't get the name of the lady working there, but she was very nice on the phone and in person. Easy process from start to finish working through my State Farm insurance.
This is our second time using Luciano's to repair body damage on a vehicle. After the first time, we won't take our vehicles anywhere else. The work they do is amazing and you can't even tell what was fixed.
After safelite did over 1800.00 worth of damage to my vechical luciano's was able to fix the damage and make my vechical look new again they did a wonderful job everyone was very nice dave Merkley went above and beyond to make sure everything got fix thanks you for a job well done lucianos

I’d recommend this places over and over. The turn around time on my car was quicker than expected. Bill and his team received my car on April 1st a little before noon and I received an estimate around 1:55 pm which I gave the go ahead to order parts. I received a call from Bill April 3rd that car was finished and he was very transparent throughout the process which was seamless.

Went to Laurel's Autobody/Collision repair on Eisenhower Boulevard Johnstown, PA. I had keys ingnition & lights on 4 estimate for repairs!! The Collision center I've dealt with them since 1992!! Yes, guess that makes me old!! But when I went to start my auto afterwards; My Vehicle would not start! THE battery Is my & hubby's part cause we need a new lead battery. BUT... This is where ALL GOES WRONG!! I simply called that specific Laurel's office and asked if they would give me a jump or if they would allow me to plug in our Charger Starter!! Wouldn't need much! Instead I was forced to bother my Son at his work place. His boss left him come up and boom... My vehicle was running!! So I checked with StateFarm and asked about warranty on deer damage!! They Said my Son's employer Luciando's has the same warranty there!! So I cancelled ALL Business with Laurel's Auto/collision to Luciando's!! Plus a bonus, for my insurance company!! The estimate was less expensive. I've left my family of 6 siblings & Mom know what happened and even they were SHOCKED!! I WANT TO STRESS IT WASN'T THE COLLISION center's fault for me going to another Body shop with same lifetime warranty on repair! The lady who answers the phone for that dealership/Body shop said they were unable to jump my battery!! By the way, Car is totally running now at my next errand stop!! So need to save a little $$ or if your insurance gives you a lifetime warranty on the repair, NOW my family will be going to Luciando's on Eisenhower Boulevard Johnstown, PA 15904! From today into the future!!
Everyone there is very nice and the service is exceptional. When we got the car back, we were very pleased on how remarkable the car looked and also how clean it was. Would definitely recommend.
I've had the occasion to use Luciano's a few times over the course of the past five years and I've been impressed every time. Their work is of the highest quality, communication is superb, prices are fair and their customer service is unsurpassed.
Out of town and I was purchasing a certified used car from the manufacturer. On the way to the dealer looking up local mechanics, I found Luciano's and called to see if I could have the car looked at by a third party. They said to just bring it by in the afternoon and they would be happy to. Long story short, they found two issues that the dealer missed and saved me about 500$ in future repairs. They had us in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. I can't speak highly enough about Luciano's. If I lived in the area, this is where I would take my car.
Took our 2017 Chevy Cruze into Luciano's for body work. Jason explained everything to us. Made us very comfortable. When we got our car back it was beautiful. They did an excellent job on it. Wish we could meet the person who did the work so we could thank him in person. . Jason kept us informed at all times. He went over our car when we picked it up. Explained everything they did. Asked if we had any questions. Made sure we were happy before we drove off. I highly recommend Luciano's to anyone. Thanks again for a wonderful job.
