I was so pleased with the service!! AJ was so polite and friendly and took care of changing my flat tire in a couple of minutes. I wish I knew the name of the woman who took my call at their office. She was so kind and helpful. Within one hour of calling it was taken care of! Great job!
Quick response on our tow, driver was great!! Dropped our disabled vehicle in our driveway, exactly as requested. We will use them for any future needs!!
My car had to be towed on a Friday night to Cernic's. The receptionist assured me that the car would be locked and secured over the weekend for the Monday servicing. When I picked up my car on Monday, it was unlocked. I noticed the glove compartment was open and envelopes that I left inside were obviously tampered with. I assumed at the time that the mechanic was looking for the service manual. Nothing seemed to be missing until I went to use my ticket for the "Holiday in Lights" at Lakemont Park the other day. I definitely kept it in my glove compartment and it was no longer there. So one of two things happened: Either Cernic's didn't secure my car as they promised to, and someone got into it (in which case they should have it on video), or one of their mechanics has light fingers. It's one or the other. Bottom line: if you take your car to Cernic's...don't leave anything valuable inside.
AJ was amazing. The back driver tire blew out on the highway. I called and he was there in under an hour with another stop in between. Fantastic service, friendly, efficient. This was the easiest way to get my tire changed!
My husband's fan belt failed in his company van. Cernic's sent someone right away even though it was after hours. They got my husband safely home. Cernic's driver was excellent - professional, kind and courteous. Cernic's is a great company with great people.

Had to pay storage cause they were closed the weekend. Was allowed to get my purse, they wouldn't let me pay the driver. So got charged for Saturday and Sunday.
This is a horrible tow yard. Picked up my mother's car and never notified her they had the car for 27 days. She had loaned the car to someone. They charged her $1700.00 and $200.00 of that was from lying about the tires being flat. They said they had to tow to her house instead of us picking the car up in person! I feel 27 days for notification is outrageous and taking advantage for more money. It says in statutes notification must be timely.
I had a great experience with Cernic University Towing. My car battery died on the highway at 4 AM, and my insurance contacted them for help. Despite the early hour, they were incredibly prompt and arrived quickly. The driver was courteous and professional, and they got me to a charger without any hassle. Very rude and unprofessional. Came to work and they were hooking up one of our fleet trucks in the parking lot blocking the entrance for the employees to park . After waiting for 10 minutes the guy got mad when I beeped and said I need to park because employees need to park their cars to go onto work. Don't get mad at us because you are stopping us from getting our work done on our property
Fast and friendly service. The driver we had was very professional. Tow arrived in less than 45m and we were 30m away from their shop (called at 5PM). Driver loaded our vehicle in less than 15m and asked if we needed to stop along the way. The total tow was over 70 miles. Hope we never need a tow again but would absolutely recommend their company to anyone in the area.
THE WORST!!! DO NOT CALL OR USE THIS SERVICE. I contacted the bbb about them. They Towed my vehicle from an accident refused to release my car even with full payment. Even with insurance company contacting them. Held my car for extra days to get extra money for storage. Then lost my keys to my car and denied it. Terrible service. CHARGED 75.00 to clean up at accident and didn't clean up or pick up one thing. False charges. Took me
5 days to get my car from them. Should be put out of business. The police should be ashamed to be recommending them or calling them to an accident. The lady answering the phone is rude and unprofessional. KEITH the manager was to call me back about these matters and still waiting for the call. Charged me 826.00 to tow from accident. One tow.
Had a brake chamber go out in Johnstown. Service tech was dispatched out super fast, arrived on site, made it where I could make my delivery, then I drove to the shop and he finished fixing everything up. Reasonably priced, quick response time, super friendly staff and in/out pretty quick. Great overall experience and will definitely be back if I'm in the area. Highly recommend ?
I'm very happy with the service and friendliness I experienced in working with Cernic's. I phoned the company at 9:30 P.M., and the woman who helped me was very kind and set up the tow for 9:00 a.m. the very next day. The driver showed up at 9:00 a.m. sharp. He was very kind, quick and helpful. The receipt was quickly emailed and for a not so great reason (car issues) the service made dealing with the car issue super easy!
