Tire replacement was done as scheduled on appointment at a reasonable speed and cost.

I recently took my car into get state inspection done and they seemed nice when I about to get my car I was informed it failed the state said my tires were dry rotted and a puncture in the side wall. My tires are less then a year old no way they were dry rotted and there was no puncture on the side wall the mechanic who did the inspection couldn't find it either. The assistant manager Leslie Benjamin was extremely rude would not answer one of my questions he would just walk away.

This place is an absolute joke . They have the least knowledgeable mechanics and mechanic helpers I’ve ever seen. Took car here to get inspected and they wouldn’t pass it because they said there was a hole in the back tire in the side wall when I got there it turned out to be a very small staple that was actually in the tread and I removed it with my finger fingers. There was no leak, but they claimed there was. There is still no leak and they cannot show me a leak. They also said that the tire had dry rot on it, but cannot point to where the dry rot is on the tire both tires were brand new. Just a couple months prior to bring it here. When I asked them, they just show me any of these things they could not point them out neither the mechanic or the helper yet they still refused to put the inspection stickers on it. They also claimed a lightbulb by the license plate was not working, but that was also working when we showed up? So the lightbulb magically fixed itself, and the tire healed itself. ABSOLUTELY INCOMPETENT THIEVES.

Slow. They had barely any people in here and it took them 2 hours to do an inspection and they never even came to tell me what needed to be done and also didnt have the material to even do it that day. Would not recommend this place.

Took my car here for state inspection and they quoted me 1.5 hrs, which is exactly how long it took. Thanks for the easy, quick service especially on a holiday. The final cost was about $84.00. The rep I spoke to was named Nick. He was informative and helpful.

I didn’t appreciate them trying to up-sell me on wiper blades when all I wanted was an oil change. It wouldn’t have bothered me so much if the guy before me also hadn’t been approached for the same thing. I knew my wiper blades were ok before I showed up but the ‘technician said’ they weren’t working properly. Wiper blades aren’t even listed as part of the standard oil change service here. And, to top it off, it was $40 to rotate tires with the oil service. I checked all local automotive prices for tire rotations and this is the most expensive place.

Top notch customer service. Went in for a check engine light. Instead of inventing a problem, they found out it was nothing and didn't charge me for the diagnostics. You just earned a customer for life.

I’m totally confident that the services needed and provided are what is required for my vehicle. I have more confidence in Auto Express than I do dealerships. I won’t go back to a dealership till I need a new car. I’m treated with complete professionalism and they get me in and out on a timely basis without charging an arm and a leg. I got an oil change and other regular maintenance on this visit.

Diagnosed a computer problem my car was suddenly having upon me just showing up. We're very nice and helpful. I only had an oil change done there so far which was quick. I'll check back after I get my inspection done there and hopefully will give them 5 stars.

I’ve generally had good luck with this shop, but my last two visits were disappointing. For the first, a very small bubble that I knew existed in one of my car tires was flagged for replacement. Technically per Pennsylvania state inspection, the technician is allowed to do that, but they’re not required to. In my view that was a $350 unnecessary repair. In the second instance, when I made the appointment for an oil change, I indicated that the car takes 0W 16 oil. They told me that I would need to bring that oil in to the shop, as they don’t stock it. I did so, However, when I got the receipt for this brand new fully warranted car, the service order makes no mention of the oil that was used. I complained, but there was no good solution that they could offer that would put in the service history of this vehicle that the proper oil was utilized. This is a Fred beans franchise, and beans has a Mazda dealership nearby. They know how important it is for the right oil to be specified on the service order. You put the food bags in the trunk

This place has amazing customer service. I was in for an oil change. Leslie had me go into the shop to look under my car to see a major issue with my car. If he did not physically show me, I probably would have driven it away thinking it could be fixed at another time. I trust the level of service they provided.

If I can offer one take away I learned after visiting this establishment it’s to COMPLETELY avoid corporate auto repair shops. Find a reputable local mechanic and go to them. Went in for an oil change because I was on a time crunch and paid double what I normally would. They told me a few things were wrong with my car , none of which turned out to be true. Drain plug wasn’t tightened correctly and leaked like a sieve- oil all over my driveway. Staff was rude and they didn’t even offer me a credit for the huge inconvenience they caused. Lo and behold I’ve only used my trustworthy local mechanic since and have had absolutely zero issues. Experience has taught me well… Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this place as possible.

Scheduled an appointment for an oil change, inspection and tire rotation. They said it could take 2 hours but they finished in 1.5 hours. The cost was $180 which is a deal! Very happy with the service.

I cannot recommend this place enough! I was driving from NY to Sesame Place when I got a flat tire on the Jersey Turnpike. I didn’t feel safe driving back to NY with my spare and luckily found this place. They changed my tire and I got an oil change; all while enjoying the day at Sesame Place. Leslie went above and beyond and even dropped us to Sesame and picked us up. I am so happy with the service I received that I would consider making this my regular shop despite living in NY.

!! SCAM ALERT !! I called to book an appointment to install two tires on my car, and on the call the rep was very nice and I asked him the total price per tire, he said it’s 16.99. And I assumed some tax. So I booked the appointment I arrived for my appointment and they said it’s $66.47 total for two tires and I was shocked because it’s more than double to what was communicated. I asked for itemized printout.m, and they showed me other added fees like wheel weights, tire disposal ($7 per tire, state avg is $1-$5 per tire), documenting fee, etc. and it feels like this should’ve been disclosed on the call. I feel cheated and I wasted so much time! Not sure if they do this for all types repairs, and yes most auto dealers try to rip you off but LYING is not acceptable; please double check and ask for total itemized price before you book any appointment here

I have gone to Auto Express for several years now for my state inspection, and I recommend them with joy! Everyone I've dealt with has been warm and kind, and there is never pressure to purchase services I don't need. The technicians are friendly and honest, and the waiting room is clean and pleasant. I am so glad I found this local gem, and I recommend them to everyone!

Please do not believe any of these negative reviews. My dad and I randomly stumbled upon this place in a pinch for a state inspection during memorial day weekend and they were incredibly accommodating. Leslie let us know in advance how long we would have to wait considering we were walk-ins, and offered us every assurance that things were on track and kept us updated throughout our stay. I witnessed firsthand how they accommodated other customers as well with patience and care. Their waiting room is also better than most that I’ve seen at mechanics. There’s a lot of space to walk around if you’re like me and don’t necessarily like sitting the whole time, but if not the chairs (there are 10 btw!) are very comfortable and the TV is nice and large. They also offer complimentary beverages like coffee, tea and water and the bathrooms (single use) are nice and well maintained. When it came to the inspection, they brought us out to the garage and showed us in detail what was wrong and let us know what our options were. Leslie was incredibly supportive throughout the whole process so I can’t recommend this place enough. He even went out of his way to get us a tire they didn’t carry it at a local shop nearby! Best of all, they’re very transparent about their pricing and they’ll work with you on it too. All you have to do is ask. This is definitely the place to go if you need something done so we will definitely be back for the service alone! Thank you!

Great experience. I didn't have my title number at first but the manager was very friendly and work with me and we got things done. The assistant manager Ryan is very good and friendly. He's bound to be a manager of an Auto Express someday before long. The customer service counter girl went the extra mile. I was in and out in no time for my inspection.

Quick next day state inspection. I called couple places for state inspection. Almost all places had 2-3 week time. Auto express took me in for next day. Ryan was very helpful. In and out in 30 minutes. Staff was very friendly. Clean waiting area. I would recommend this place.
