I'm an out of town traveler and I broke down a few miles away with a destroyed tire and no spare, and these guys fixed me up with a used tire for a great price. They had me in and out in under 30 minutes. Super friendly and helpful, they were a lifesaver.
Traveling down 99 south about 20 miles out my dashboard lit up like Christmas. The father (head mechanic) and his son met me outside their shop, ran a diagnostic for an extremely fair price and got my passenger hub assembly fixed within no time and got me back on the road. GREAT people over here I highly recommend them. 700 miles from home and they made me feel like family. Not everyday you come across friendly mechanics like these guys
driving from ohio to maryland i was having troubles with my car checking everywhere on google i called several places with ethier no answer or no availability i came across barnes saw it was only 2 miles from me and decided to try it out! when we got there we were greeted by a friendly young girl. within 5 minutes we were in the office waiting while the car was taken on a yest drive within 15 minutes problems solved everyone was super helpful and nice
While heading to the outer banks we had a brake line go and started calling around. We explained the issue and Josh the mechanic said come on in and we will get you on the road. Replaced the line then bleeder stripped out while bleeding the system so a new caliper had to be installed. All was taken care of as soon as we drove up. Service was exceptional and we were even offered use of a car to go get lunch while we waited. Very friendly and exceptional service. Would definitely recommend.
Was traveling home for Thanksgiving and my car started acting up. Was scared and unsure and Barnes Garage helped us out quick and got us back on the road. Very kind people as well!
Driving through Bedford from out of town and developed car problems. Stopped at Barnes garage, they took me in right away, assigned a mechanic, Chad. We took a test drive, then Chad put the car on the lift, found the problem and fixed it right away. It was that easy, could not have asked for better service. These guys are honest, the mechanics are skilled and knowledgeable. Every town should have a garage this good

I was visiting the family from out of town when I realized that I needed new tires. There was a mix up regarding the tire availability, so they came in on their day off to be sure I was on the road safely! Nicole was paying it forward!

Excellent shop! I had some car trouble on my way to a festival - they got me in five minutes after i called and fixed the problem! Entire staff was so friendly and helped while i was freaking out about potentially not getting to my destination. 10/10 recommend!!
Jeremy and staff are courteous and efficient. They are always professional while at the same time taking a minute to engage in casual conversation. A great hometown feeling with affordable prices.
My daughter had brake failure at the I-70/76 South Midway Travel Plaza (thankfully while parking) and the folks at Barnes Garage could not have been nicer . They quickly arranged for her car to be towed to their shop and repaired in a very timely manner so that my daughter (and her dog) could resume her trip east. The price was very fair and their willingness to help and the very friendly people made what was potentially a very complicated situation into a very positive conclusion. Everyone could not have been nicer and this is a tribute to Jeremy and Nicole Barnes and their excellent staff of mechanics. I sincerely recommend this company and it's nice to see the continuation of the long tradition of the Barnes family Garage.
A travelers godsend. Lost the tread off one of our RV tires on the way home, called in and found they had what we needed, made it there and while we ran to get some lunch they replaced our tire. Outstanding, friendly, reasonable service.
Highly recommend! All of the employees are SO NICE! And they're honest and thorough! I went in asking to get a new tire and they asked if they could possibly save me money by checking out my rims and if my current tire had any leaks. Went in expecting to drop a few hundred dollars and spent $45. They could have just put on a new tire like I requested but they went above and beyond!
Outstanding service. Had both vehicles inspected and oil changed in one day with out a hitch. Friendly folks who take care of their customers. The only garage that I will use.

I have a 2011 dodge caliper it had relay problems and nobody in town would work on the car so I called Barnes and he fixed the problem . Great service and I would highly recommend anyone to go there if they have electrical problems with there car , they even let me use a loaner car . Great job and thank you !!!!!!!!!!
Great shop! Was traveling through, had a problem. They looked at it right away. Simple fix and they didn’t charge me. Tipped the mechanic 20 and got on the road. Highly recommend
I had to make an emergency stop at Barnes Garage when my wheel bearing broke on a road trip. They were very friendly and helpful and were able to get the part ordered and replaced in under two hours. They also had very fair pricing even though they could have overcharged me due to the fact that I needed the replacement to get back home!
Awesome mom and pop shop. We went here because of the reviews and glad we did , we ran over something on the turnpike took the car to Barnes Garage , they weren’t able to fix it, but they had a used tire in stock for under $50. Highly recommended, very nice friendly staff.
Wow what can I say about this place other than a great place you will always have a outstanding experience when you go here and the workers and the owner are just so knowledgeable and they will make sure you understand everything that they are doing to your vehicle there is no hidden cost they are always upfront and great friendly people to deal with
We had an issue with a check engine light as we traveled across the PA Turnpike. We were over 200 miles from home and concerned that we might become stranded over night in 20° weather if the engine did fail. We found them online and were greeted by their adorable dogs. They took us in promptly and did a diagnostic test, cleared an issue and referred us to our local mechanics to follow-up. We were back on the road in less than an hour. The garage has a long interesting history
